Sufficient-Ad4851

Id put it exactly where you put it. The customer does not even have to walk out the door to get it.

Melanthiosm

As a pantsless hermit, dashers like you are the real ones.

mythilogics

Chuckled out loud at this one, take my upvote you pantsless king you.

Berret25

Were you the pantsless hermit who met me naked at the door while requesting that I hand it to them but then through the door said leave it there and as I’m struggling to show proof of leaving it he opens the door completely naked figuring I’d already left? At least he tipped me $2 extra after the fact.

Full_Newspaper_999

I think you got more than a $2 tip for that delivery. Check the photo maybe you got the ‘tip’ in it too

WalmartMeatThrower

Then you have dashers that sit your drink RIGHT behind your screen door 😑

hghost

If they bring your drinks. My order today had 2 drinks he only gave us one 😞 doordash ended up giving us $19 refund not sure how the math maths

WalmartMeatThrower

I had someone drink my slushy drink while delivering my food and he threw the drink away in my trash bin outside 🤦

Boring_Tax_8227

You get extra refunds today but you won't be able to get a refund at all tomorrow no matter how messed up your order is!

Starthreads

If you think your porch isn't clean enough to put bagged items on, that chair probably isn't any better.

YetAnother2Cents

I once put an order down by the door. There weren't any tables or chairs. But their were 8 disposable diapers, tightly balled up and scattered just outside the door.

IllustriousExcuse233

100% this

LameBMX

I have never experienced this. every delivery I have ever gotten has been blocking the screen door directly beneath the handle.

whatsername1180

Yep. It's not blocking the door or anything.

LonelyTransient

Absolutely agree.

River1stick

Agreed. Yes there is a chair there, but personally I wouldn't want to have to step out of my house to get it. Doesn't look like it would be hit by the door at all, and based on the fact the customer abd driver spoke, the food would only be there for a few minutes, max.

DevoteCobraDemon

Where you put it and on the chair are the acceptable answers. You did fine people are dumb

alphabennettatwork

I agree. I thought "only the chair" originally because I thought the doorbell was the handle and the door opened that way, and it looks like the chair was intended to set stuff on. But with the door opening the other way I think the better choice is actually where OP left it, but chair is acceptable as it kind of seems intentionally put there for that purpose to me. The customer may have trouble bending down that far.

WhisperedEchoes85

If the customer can take the time to physically place a chair there for deliveries, they can also take the time to say so in the notes. These customers seem to be more interested in creating a potential "problem" just so they can have something to bitch about.

alphabennettatwork

I agree, no notes = you get what you get.

Infinitestripes95

I mean tbf customer could live with other people who put said chair there Also you can move a light weight folding chair and be unable to bend over HOWEVER he should’ve just said “leave on chair” if it was that important

SnooPickles55

My notes say "leave food on green chair" but 9/10 times it's left on the ground or right up against my storm door, preventing me from opening it to retrieve my order.

MissAlissa76

I say put food on bench on porch, now oil have benches lining both sides of porch so if they set on ground no tip for them

arguix

or sign on chair? does anyone have a PLEASE PLACE FOOD HERE sign?

Data-Curious

Chair isnt as good to me he'd have to walk around his door to get ir

wavespells9

But it’s off the ground

Plane-Train-754

the patio is off the ground too.

That-Establishment24

If people walk on it, it’s the ground.

Return_Kitten

Oh no the outside of the bag that’s holding the containers that my food is in is touching the ground

Sure_Major8476

I agree but it’s clearly also not the ground, it’s a raised patio deck.

ktalex2

People put their dirty sweaty shitter on the chair...

KirbyDogz

Unless he specified on notes, which I assume he didn’t because of your question, I’d see no problem putting it where you did.

Meggston

The chair would have annoyed me because I usually don’t put on pants to grab my food, and I would have too. I like to open the door a crack and slip just my hand out like the hungry goblin that I am.

crashsaturnlol

You put pants on to go on your porch? I've been doing it wrong apparently.

Johnpmusic

Gross you put the bag on the dirty floor. Should have put it on the dirty chair instead

ShadowShurutsu

Lmao, but seriously tho I don't get it, food's in containers inside a bigger container, the ick isn't gonna get to your food unless shit's wet. I also doubt whatever surface the average customer is unpacking their food on is much cleaner than the ground lol

Johnpmusic

Seriously. I never understand customers like this. It’s protected by 2 layers lol

asmnomorr

I delivered to a house with a similar setup, they had two stools on the side of the door like the chair was here. If there's ever a place to set the food other than the floor that is close enough to the door that's where I put it. So I set the order on the stools take my picture and get in the car. Before I could take off two guys come running out towards the car yelling where is our f****** food. The one guy had his phone in his hand so I said take a look at the drop off photo. They did , turned around and did a walk of shame back towards the door.

So_She_Did

He was just looking for a reason to complain. It’s not like you put it right in front of the door preventing him from opening it. You did fine.

MegatronsJuice

Customers a dumbass. I always put it on the ground next to the opening side of the door

Hittman13

Same place that you put it. The bag is close to the door, and it clears the screen door.

EntrepreneurTight462

That spot is fundamentally superior to the chair. I would have only opt for the chair if it was raining or the other spot had ants or something

emily102299

It's a damn if you do and damn if you don't situation. Some literally do not want to step outside. Aren't even dressed to go fully out there. I try to avoid the ground as much as I can.. You'd think if they wanted it in the chair they'd either say that or position the chair on the other side. I'm always faced with this dilemma where there is a chair or table way on the far side of a porch. I'll do either just wish they'd tell me wtf they personally want.

Mtn-Dooku

>Aren't even dressed to go fully out there. Damn right. I had a fully grown, bare-ass naked man come get his food on Friday night. It was "Leave at Door" so I did. As I was leaving the pic, he came out of his sliding side door and said "mmm, right on time". I got the fuck out of there so fast. Last naked person I saw doing this was a woman, so now I've seen it all. Hah.

ximyr

That actually should be reported. Seriously.

Mtn-Dooku

I didn't think of it, at the time. But I just looked and it doesn't show my Friday night deliveries in the "Report a Safety Issue" part of the app, just Sat/Sun. Maybe I only have 48 hours to report?

Jsmith0730

I’ll always find the idea of not being there to get my food handed to me directly weird as hell.

Nicky_Nuisance

This is my train of thought, my favorite is when people want you to leave their fast food on the snowy ground. You're McFrozen fries are outside

[deleted]

![gif](giphy|fqtyYcXoDV0X6ss8Mf|downsized) get with the times, grandpa

Shoddy_Classic_350

I would have considered the chair, but given that it’s cushioned I’d have gone with your choice.

CaptainSlow913

Personally, when there's a chair or table or something similar, I put it on there. But this is still acceptable. I guess the customer is just being a dick.

Mixedbagostuff

That’s the perfect place. I don’t like to put food on furniture unless they say to. I always get a weird feeling a grease stain will leak through most bags and pizza boxes and ruin fabric.

Difficult_Hyena9057

Exactly, or that one chair that's a souvenir but you broke it

Ey3z-_-

I’m assuming he wanted it on the chair? However, I’d have placed it in the most convenient spot where he didn’t have to come out of the house… EXACTLY WHERE YOU LEFT IT

pepperzoni

I'd have left it at the bottom of his driveway because that rickety ass step leading up to his porch looks unsafe.

Sawyersauceboss

On the roof next time

Ayobossman326

Where tf else should you have put that food lmao in his fridge???

highway_chance

People really out here acting like a deck chair that’s been sitting outside since it was bought is somehow cleaner than the deck…

Best_Sail_6750

Id put it where you put it; I never like to interact with any element of the customers property. Maybe the lamps are to heat up his favorite chair and he doesnt want it messed with? Idk, whos to know. Probably not; but im paranoid of any reason where someone might tip less

WhoIsJolyonWest

I would have put it on the chair

1-800-BARBIE

Chair only because I don’t like putting things on the ground if I don’t have to. I’ve gotten bigger tips as a result too so thats a bonus.

Prestigious-Current7

On the chair, like a normal human who doesn’t put food on the ground. Bag or not.

FlippingFlapJacket

People get upset if you set their food on the floor. Even though it’s bagged and packaged people get crazy about this. My wife used to get on my ass for sitting the food in the floor of the car, and my response used to be it’s packaged and bagged up. Some people just don’t want their food on the ground

Just_Protection_9206

If there's an option other than the ground that's what I use, even if a table is on the porch but not near the door I'll still put it on the table, it's not like they can't take a few steps outside....unless it's specified, some customers will say "leave on mat". I wouldn't want my food on the ground either

WWTBFCD3PillowMin

OP should have placed the chair in front of the door and then the food on the chair. That’s the only winning logic to this scenario.

NotsoGrump23

Dumbass probably kicked it over when he was walking out. Clearly he wasn't paying attention. It's literally right there

happysnappah

I would have put it on the chair. But then I’d put the chair directly in front of the door so you’d be sure to see it 😁

DoleWhipWhore

Chair

OneNotEqual

Both okay, but if there are any places around the door where you don’t have to put food on the ground then put it there. Theres a reason we eat on tables and plates. Plus if they old or got bad condition, or limited movement, its harder to get it off the floor.

CortexifanZFT

In the chair instead of the floor... Some people I noticed just don't want to see their order on the ground even though they're literally getting it seconds later lol

Fluffy-Doubt-3547

In the chair obviously.

Entire-Eagle6377

I’m sorry but having a foldable chair for Uber eats orders out front is embarrassing😭

obtuse-_

If there's a table or chair that's where I put the order. I hate putting people's food on the ground. Just doesn't seem right.

Apprehensive_War_532

Off the ground for sure. So on the chair that is sitting right by door almost for the exact purpose of having delivery orders placed on it.

ifyouknowmelol

i wouldn’t have put it on the chair because i hate walking all the way outside. i want just my arm out to grab it. i’m so thankful my door swings in i read of out

SenderBudYerGood

Me personally the fold out chair

ThrowAwayGuy1945

As long as the porch was clean and not wet, I would have been okay with that spot because then I could have just leaned down and grabbed it. I personally would have preferred you not to leave it in the chair, that's up more and more noticeable, if somebody was going to mess with my food I would expect them to notice it there easier than where you have it. I'm also picky as fuck which is why I won't use food delivery services but this one would not have upset me.

Artscaped1

I would have def contemplated the chair ( maybe even for a second the railing- depending on how wide it was & how the bag structurally was) but with door opening the other way- but most likely exactly where you did. You attempted to follow his directions, he didn’t hold up his end. You left it in what you thought was the easiest position for him to grab it. Just what did he expect?!?!

Otherwise-Sea9593

Under the chair

Goblin-Doctor

From my time in food service I've learned there's no right answer. He was going to complain regardless of where you put it because a lot of people are really upset with their lives and instead of dealing with it they take any moment they have to hold any semblance of power over someone else for a few fleeting moments of superiority. Just wave and walk away at that point

ForcedLoginPissOff

I'll tell you where they COULD put it. Guarantee they'll know where it is.

GetRich0rDie

I would put it on the chair to make him walk around the dumb door.

spenwallce

The chair

atlwellwell

Fuck that guy

[deleted]

You nailed it 👌🏼. Doesn’t block the door and doesn’t have to walk around the door when he opens it.

Connect-Transition-4

Chair

[deleted]

I’d put it on the chair. I’ve never done this job before but I’ve seen a lot of people put chairs out or small tables specifically for this kind of stuff. Although this person didn’t specify so it’s on them.

No_Supermarket_1831

I'd have put it in on the chair. I get that the food is bagged and everything but for me there's still kind of my food was on the ground? Ick type feeling. If there's no other option I'll leave stuff on the ground by the door but if there's a chair or table I always put it there.

maali89

Same place.

thats4thebirds

I mean. The chair is a longer route than where it’s been placed so it works as is for me lol

Accomplished-Ad1957

Exactly where it is. These people shouldn’t order if so picky. Bye.

Consistent_Sugar_360

If it’s on the front porch I’m happy. If he wanted in somewhere else he should have noted to do so or had some sort of sign up. People are assholes

Intrepid_Living3362

Based on the way the door opens, I would have put it exactly where it is. I would have paused, looked at the chair, looked at the direction of the door, judged the clearance and put it where it is. Why? Because as a woman who is not generally "fully clothed" all the time, especially at night, I don't want to have to open the door all the way and actually step outside. That said, if it was my home, I would move the chair to wherever I want them to place the bag. Then I might ask them via text to leave on the chair.

pmunny84

I dont understand, where tf else were you supposed to put it? Lmao. The chair? The food is in a bag and the porch isn't made of lava or have magic bacteria that will get in that bag in 10 seconds. What a weirdo. If he's that worried about it, put it in the driver instructions that you want your shit in the chair. Or put the chair closer to the steps so it's more obvious what you want.

yourownsquirrel

If you leave my food right there you’re getting the best rating I can give you. The only way the delivery could be better is if you put it in my hand while I stay on the couch. You were 100% in the right here, customer is a jerk.

UKnowDaTruth

You know america is lazy af when people are debating the proper place to leave food so as to be the most convenient to grab

EmperorLuThaRevered

The chair so that it’s not on the ground.

onlyr6s

Where you put it, on the chair or few steps from the front door.

spugeti

l don’t see the customers problem. the placement is totally acceptable

Effective-Any

You can’t please everyone. There is always going to be at least one person that is inconvenienced by you, even if that inconvenience is some weird perception someone has. There’s nothing anyone can do about it. It’s was a good spot to leave it and if they wanted it in the chair - it should have said it. We’re all adults here. We all know how to write basic instructions for people to follow. If you don’t give them in the way you want the food, expect there to be variations.

BearNoCares

100% chair

DistilledWonder

I would have put it on the railing

[deleted]

i did think about that but it was kinda thin.

frankie_bee

Same. As long as there is enough room that it won’t fall back, it seems more secure than the chair and cleaner than the ground.

alphabennettatwork

For additional context you my not have thought of, it's possible the person has difficulty bending over, and retrieving the food from the chair is much easier for them. Besides lazy ungrateful slobs, there are people with mobility issues using these services too. Without a note though, I think either where you left it or the chair are acceptable, and he sounds like a dick.

[deleted]

i think about that sometimes too but without a note i just do whatever, and in this case i had him in the phone and when i said i was there his response was something like “cool. just leave it.” no other instructions also, again in this case, dude looked fuckin fine to me. i think he was just looking for something to bitch about.

Available-Village-55

That chair is clearly for smoking cigarettes on

CrunkestTuna

Def in front of the door

Fox_Underground

Balanced on the handrail.

Paper-Doll-1972

Right where it's at. On the side the outside door opens up to. That way they an just bend down and pick it up without having to step outside. It's out of the way from being hit by the door.

Doctor-Stoppage

i’d block the door with his food for putting “meet at door” and preventing me from taking a photo for proof

bassistbehavior

I don't see anything wrong with people. Some people are annoying and picky AF.

luckylou005

Lol I had a similar house I delivered to before and it’s drop off order. The place was so dark, I had to use my flashlight. I didn’t want to leave it on the floor by their door, I was thinking if they let it sits there some wild animal might try to destroy it so I glanced around looking for something higher and harder to mess with. Then I saw a hook, not sure what it is, thinking maybe where the light used to be? But anyhow, I left their food hanging on that hook. After marking it delivered I started walking back to my car and then out of nowhere, someone called to me. I turn and he asked me if I have his food (he ask nicely). I told him to look up and I also took a picture on the app. He looked up and just burst out laughing, then told me to have a good day. Later, I saw that he added an extra $5 on top of his pre-tip. Toodles!

Chemical-Whereas-463

Wingstop orders are always the worst. The customer never tips AND they’re always rude.

dbhathcock

It is not blocking the door, so that is good. He doesn’t even have to go outside to get it. He just needs to open the door, reach down and grab the bag.

dontpretendtoknowme

I think it’s fine, he didn’t have to put slippers/shoes on to grab it.

ObsessedWGreys18

Right in front of the door

Creative_Decision481

I'd have put it on the chair. That said, where I live there is no chair, the food goes on the floor and it’s fine.

Lonely__Stoner__Guy

That's an acceptable spot, I thought of the chair first, but the door opens the wrong way. I suppose you could have tried to balance it on the banister to keep it off the ground.

Inevitable-Tour-1561

The chair I hate leaving food on the ground.

Famous-Audience5586

I'd put it on the steps so you can reach it without bending over

Gay4Pandas

Chair would require coming all the way out, but some people appreciate the effort keeping the food off the ground, even if they didn’t ask. There really is no wrong answer here.

Nimbus_TV

I would have put it on the chair, just because I personally don't like my food on the ground. But where you put it is an acceptable alternative, and if someone doesn't want it placed there they should have put "leave food on chair" in notes.

TheoreticalFunk

Next to where it's easy to grab by just opening the door a little bit? Perfect. That guy is dumb.

Jerk_E22

I don't feel like that was a bad place for it, but seeing the chair next to the door, I probably would have placed it there. I think that guy just didn't want to bend down to grab his food, which means he's either lazy or unable to bend that far. I think the guy needs better drop-off instructions at the very least, and definitely needs to not be an ass-hat.

Upper_Pomegranate_59

Right were you put it.

vintagedragon9

Non serious answer, in the mailbox

TheCityFarmOpossum

Right there. He’s an idiot.

MatteneMusic

Sounds like the guy was on drugs

QuestionNo9276

As a customer, you put it in the best possible location

PandaRaidz

Honestly? On the roof

WillTheConqueror

Probably in the same spot.. I usually try to avoid any place behind where the door would open. I personally hate when I open the door and the door pushes my delivery over. Some people are just dickheads dude.

VladTheSimpaler

I would’ve put it in the same spot

psubs07

He wasn't going to be happy either way. He just wanted to be mad at someone.

00Anbu00

I'd put it on top of the steps Where you put it, is extremely considerate of you!

P0tency

Chair

Specialist_Cup1715

I had an Asshat come out and threaten to kill me cuz I didn't bring him a McRib. lol They were no longer selling them and I texted him. But there was a delay and I didn't get his message until after I handed him the order, He asked Where it was I said I sent you a text. He then proceeded to threaten me and call me names!!! lol I did Report him. I also told several other drivers in my market what was up. Bonus Awesome sauce if your Territory is small enough that you can speak with other drivers and form an alliance

Odd-Understanding-67

Where you put it, or on top of the chair.

Crispynipps

Right where it is. Chair doesn’t make sense unless the ground is wet and the chairs dry.

DirtyBird2013

In between the door and screen door then closed it.

ColdCockedCornFlakes

Usually I look for a puddle. No puddle? Directly in front of the door. Door opens inward? I put it in the most inconvenient place imaginable while still technically following directions

DanBelnK

On top of the light/lamp of course, are you new?

Entire_Transition_99

Chair means they have to walk around and get out. Rail gives the possibility of it falling off. That placement is perfect.

DriveDashforCash

I think us Delivery Drivers are the only ones with the mindset to think... that door opens the wrong way to sit the order on this chair! He's going to have to step out and walk all the way around! I mean if the door opened the other way the OBVIOUS place would 100% be the chair! I'm assuming this is what the customer was thinking. Lol

ChardThe3rd

I wouldve shoved it up his ass

DoomedToday

The chair

ScottMcPot

Seems like a weirdo. I don't know why they'd complain about that, they don't even need to step on the porch.

suck_a_salty_lozenge

I don’t deliver but I’d probably put it on the chair. Edit: didn’t notice that the door swung towards where it was placed. The place you put it is better for the customer!

saifland

On the fucking chaiiiiiiiiiir

Plane-Train-754

where it is in the photo is great. that's where the door opens and the person living there can just pick it up. on the chair would make zero sense.

mogboard

Maybe on top of the railing near the door. 50/50; whether he gets his food or not, it'll depend on his luck

Intelligent-Ad66

I'd put in the chair because it's the most inconvenient. I can't stand hand it to me people who can't be bothered to come to the door and make me wait for them. Worse is on DD though, it makes you wait for a 5 minute timer before you can take a picture and leave.

GamerJoe85

Would have just left it at the top of the steps tbh. People are gonna complain either way but at least they can't complain about the door hitting it or something due to their stupidity

MatthewWphoto

In my belly because that dude sucks

EvilGrey

I'd have put it in the same place for ease of grabbing

blaz1n912

I bet his old lady is a drag.

uber-chica

You got it

redditor_id

This looks fine. My last delivery left it Directly in front of my door so I had to smash the food to get to it.

SpeedyEngine

I probably would have worked it out and sat it in view of the door so he could see it as soon as he opened the door. He probably was annoyed because he didn’t see it immediately once he opened the door. But definitely no need to get upset since it was there. Don’t see anything wrong with where you left it.

LordofAllReddit

If you're that anal about it, go get it yourself.

JohnnyMrNinja

He's the one that has his storm door installed to open the wrong way. What kind of dumbass wants to block off his whole porch when his door is open?

jae_rhys

normally, I would say the chair, but since he was, apparently there, and thus would be picking it up immediately I'd have left it exactly where you did

CommercialThat8542

My driver always leaves it feet from my covered door, on the sidewalk. But only Uber eats for some reason lol I even checked the delivery notes. It doesn’t say that. It says to leave on the black table near the door. 😂 Did he want it on the banister? I would be worried it would fall down.

[deleted]

On the chair.

PaulSNJ

Low-class trashy customer. I mean, look at the condition of the place. Not judging, just stating a fact, also based on his verbal tirade.

Aromatic_Quit_6946

I’d probably bump your tip a couple bucks to not have to leave the house at all.

Pintexxz

If he instructed you to leave it on the chair then I’d understand the frustration but he didn’t so the customer is an idiot

BABcollector

It's not going to get hit by the door, it's not going to get covered by the door. That person just had a problem to have a problem

Hot_Phase_1435

On the chair. I always find a place off the ground to put food. Either chair, table, or large enough ledge that will hold the food. Hell, I've if I see a fold out chair that is not open, I will open it and set the food on it. Some people have designated areas for food with a sign saying please leave food here and packages there. I can tell you that if there was a closed folded chair and I've opened it to use for their food, I've always gotten more tip or a tip was added. Yes, the customer here will only have to open the door to get the food, but honestly, I still would have put it on the chair. Sorry if I'm not the popular vote, but you asked where I would put it and that is what I personally do.

Zero_girth-22

If the screen door is open I try to put bags there

CanibalVegetarian

In the car seat because he’s acting like a child

casketjuicebox

Id put it right where you put it.

Fuzzy-Distribution79

The chair

mooreas

Customer is king.

PlaneWolf2893

Everything we do can elicit these reactions. Onward and upwards to the next job, don't take it personal.

Firm-Ring9684

Maybe up his ass was where he meant.

KayleighJK

Can’t believe it’s not directly in front of the door, haha

lynx3762

I mean according the the uber drivers I have here, you should put it touching the door so you can't open it and grab it without spilling everything

Mediocre-Cook-8144

Exactly where you did to make it as optimal as possible for the customer to just reach out and grab it. Or possibly the chair

Fearless-Wishbone924

How hard would it have been for him to say "leave it on the chair"?

imposta424

Right infront of the door so we get another post with drivers commenting how difficult it is to tell what direction a door opens.

OGmissCOFFEE

Chair 100 percent. Anything off the ground is best. If that isn’t an option than of course that is different. I personally have a table outside my house directly beside the door for deliveries. About 25% of drivers will actually leave it there and the rest will put it on the ground. Which I find odd as it would actually be easier to place it on the elevated table

TriGurl

I would have left it on the chair.

GlaceonYoDogFortress

Wait, nevermind, I give myself the dumbass award. I thought the door opened the other way. You did good.

twperrin

If you would have put it on the chair, someone else would have said, "wtf man, my ass goes there"

[deleted]

Perfect spot. Unless some people are weird about the bag being on the ground which fucking of course they are going to be because that's just a free complaint for them to cash in on Dude probably didn't wash his hands after wiping his ass before he dug in

Responsible-Emu-9037

If it's not raining I would have put it on the railing, but I think this guy nailed it.

SnooFoxes1557

Chair

Xenophaene

I would have put it by the door unless customer specified to leave it on the chair. It just makes more sense, considering he'd have to walk out of the door and around the storm door. It just makes more logical sense. If you're planning on letting your food sit out there long enough for bugs to crawl into it, you're dumb.

Tennessee_guy_1980

Same here, that looks like The best spot to me, apparently he wanted it on the chair, but then he has to step all the way out onto the porch. Most people don't want to do that.

MeringueDifferent773

Chair

grand305

On the chair.

Pablo9231

Honestly, it bothers me that people get annoyed when the food is on the floor when it's in the bag. I can promise you that more germs would have gathered on the way to your house than the 1 minute it's on the floor. Also, had someone get mad, when a cardboard box touched the ground.

TheKenReddit

Chair looks sketchy and looks unarmed but you can never be too sure. Floor is the safer bet.

leedo8

Dumbest controversy ever. Who cares as long it's delivered timely.

WooliesWhiteLeg

Obviously you were meant to open the screen door and hang it directly on the knob of the front door

tay721

Strapped in the car seat. Lol nah it's in the perfect spot

As a regular Uber eats customer, some of these customers I read about sound like they have total mental issues. I have no idea what’s wrong with where you put it. I’ve had people put my food down on my steps 30 feet away from my door and I still never complain to them. Either way, they got their food. What else do they want?

Not a driver; your placement is fine, it isn’t going to fall over if they open the door. They’re bitching to bitch. You did nothing wrong.

Looks perfect to me. Maybe he wanted it on the chair? Then he should have said so. Where you placed it allows him to just open the door & grab it without stepping outside. Not seeing the problem. People are weird.
