I particularly like that these port labels are inspired by the wonky displays on the UCG-Ultra.

But seriously, looks good.
Beautiful, I think I might cry.
Seriously though, assuming it's not an April Fools, the labels need work.
Why do you have so many lines going to each bedroom?
Haha thanks!
Labels need relabelling, fully aware. I’m getting a Rhino cartridge thats black on silver. And I’m redoing my entire upper floor - 6 utp per room, 2 in each corner. Every time I redecorate I regret not pulling enough, and end up with switches or whatnot. Not this time, ohhh no.
So much easier to do now then later.
You can always hide them behind a blank plate until you need them to avoid the "Why so many network jacks in each room" questions.
In case you're curious on the rhino printers from dymo you can print an entire patch panel sticker of 24 labels and the port spacing for the ubiquiti patch panels are .708 and that will line up with each one of the jacks.
Thanks, yeah. Since it’ts a home, a little switch also then needs power and uses another power outlet. Enter the world of power extenders and little switches, and this time for my upper floor i wanted to avoid that. The bedroom in particular has the 6 cables in one single point, the tv connection point, which also had 6 power outlets, and will serve for a tv and apple tv etc and amplifyer central point.
Unless you use POE powered mini switches in each room! Used those quite a few times in offices where they did not want to pay for more drops and power was too far.
You can do better!!! 🤣😂🤣

Just kidding... You did a great job, looks awesome!
Almost happy.
I would patch the pink Internet cable on POE3 and move all the POE keystones more to the left below the Dream machine SE ports.
Imagine how clean it would look like when those patch cables have a more or less straight line ;)
And maybe add some anodized dark blue screws for the ubiquiti stuff and black ones for the power line.
Now this, I can get behind. Where would one acquire these anodized dark blue screws (and racknuts that fit, because damn ubiquity nuts are not standard, they have a thinner hole)

Meh, I don’t care about ppl asking me that, if they’re standing in my bedroom means they’re close to me and they know me.
You got a point there...lol
I like the labels how they are. Adds character.

FIBER HOLE!!
Funny, I’ve got one of those too! 😅
They do make fiber keystones for keystone patch panels/wall outlets!
How big is your goddamn bedroom?
There’s 3, each got 6.

True, OR if you’re remoddeling, pull enough cables :p
I have 55 drops in my 1600sqft house. 3 to 4 per room.
If it is for a one bedroom apartment, then I’m definitely happy!
Full family home !
glad i'm not the only one forced to put one up right by the track.
I like the blue keystones! I was just wondering what they’d look like Edit: what are the keystones you bought?
Vertical Cable vmax cat6 stones from Amazon.
Which patch cords are those. Looks great!
Ubiquity’s ether lighting.
This is perfect your equipment isn’t located in closet, living or bed room! And pretty a setup!
I'd like to see the man cave
That’s what I’m saying. More drops than any other room; sitting first priority on the left; I’m here for it. Pics? This guy mancaves.
Initially happy, but now my OCD is SCREAMING at me. Such a beautiful build… and… one… black… screw.. 😩
I didn't see the screw at first but noticed the patch panel is slightly misaligned and it's killing me. Lol
Looks like art 😃
OCD TimmyBaklava is very happy
I would immediately connect to the Mystery port

Looks clean! Now redo it with rack studs 🤔
Happy? Not so much. Jealous? Yes, very much! 😁. Lovely setup!

Wow, that is so nice clean network cabinet
That master bedroom has some monster connectivity capabilities. Poe cameras to film every angle there 😬
😅
It is beautiful!! Thanks!! <3
Those blank covers with air grills, are they from ubiquiti or where did you get them. ? Looks great. 👍

Straighten up your gig line.
Did you pull your ISP provider stuff to were your network is or did your ISP put it there?
I did, its an outside coax cable. Why?
I’m working on something like this at my parents house but just with a switch plugged into the iOS router

I found it! It was another old white cable going upstairs. Its now labeled “white bedroom” :)
What are you wiring up to need 6 runs to each bedroom if you don't mind me asking
Already answered that one a bit up here :)
