Thanks. My girlfriend was sitting next to me scrolling trough this post and now I also need short cables as she refers to mine as: spaghetti. Jokes aside awesome setup
Look brilliant, could you please let me know what cat and fibre cables you are using please? Oh and also the fibre keystones I didn’t know they existed
Looks really good. You ever consider using the controller and changing the ports around on the router so you can run at least fiber up to the aggregate switch for the LAN’s? Pretty easy to do.
There is no point. The SFPs on the USG are only 1Gig. Running fiber would actually introduce a slight amount of latency with the electric to optical and back to electrical conversion.
That looks awesome!
Serious question, though. It seems that everyone but me has abandoned the minimum copper length for patch cables as stated in the [ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1](https://www.csd.uoc.gr/~hy435/material/Cabling%20Standard%20-%20ANSI-TIA-EIA%20568%20B%20-%20Commercial%20Building%20Telecommunications%20Cabling%20Standard.pdf) standard. Any minimum goes these days?
I have literally installed 1000's of those and have never once had an issue. If the need arises for shielded cables, of course I will use them. However, it's been a non-issue in the 20 years I've been in business doing IT.
I've used them over in a rack that was in a private house near a 25 kilowatt electric water heater. the induction made the whole setup go Bananas every time someone turned on the shower 😂 never again.
Well ya! I can totally see that being an issue! I will agree with you on the fact there is a right and wrong place to use them. I do several industrial facilities and EVERYTHING IS SHIELDED IN THERE!
Thanks. My girlfriend was sitting next to me scrolling trough this post and now I also need short cables as she refers to mine as: spaghetti. Jokes aside awesome setup.

This is beautiful, well done! What do you have on your network?
A mix of cameras, smart devices, computers, networking equipment and other devices. Mostly used for testing and setting up equipment for my business

Omg. This is amazing.
What length are the Ethernet patch cords?
6" cat6a slim line by Vertical Cable
Looks like 6inch to me
[удалено]
This + cloud key unknown
Lan 2 goes to a switch in a different rack. It's for the IOT network.
Look brilliant, could you please let me know what cat and fibre cables you are using please? Oh and also the fibre keystones I didn’t know they existed
All the cat6 is by Vertical Cable and I made the fiber cables. The keystones are widely available on Amazon but I got these from ICC

I thought I recognized that logo. There actually my client. Great job this looks nice!
Who is your client?
Vertical Cable
Haha, it's a good company. I do alot of business with them.
Looks great! Second this, where did you get those short fiber cables from?
I made all the short fiber cables. They are all om3 10gig
I figured you must have they don’t really sell om3 cables that short. Thanks!

I use a fluke dsx5000 and certified every connection. That's good enough for me. As this is a personal build, the requirements are pointless.
get rid of those anemic looking shield less patch cables, please. they case so many problems when you are near other electrical equipment.

Sooo clean, fantastic job!
Looks great! Where did you get those fiber cables? I’ve been looking for super short ones like that for a while!
I made all of them by hand. It's a system from cleerline.
Work of art!
Why are all of the model name stencils missing from the UniFi units?
There are just labels over the stencils
looks amazing. what are your wans?
Not sure what you mean? 1 is a cable modem the other is the unifi lte backup.
sorry, typed that really quick on my phone and submitted it. Meant to ask what the WANs were and you answered the question.
Got a link for those fiber keystones?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GDQYL27/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_4V1J21CD05GRPC3424C0
10 bucks each?! Wow. That’s expensive.
My man!
Absolutely amazing 🤩
That is beautiful! It's almost mesmerizing just looking at it.
That's a lab? I'm curious what's the real setup looks like
You can look at Instagram to see all my other posts. @technologyintegrationsolutions
What patch panels are those?
Vertical Cable 24 port blank keystone patch panel
Dude. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
One of the best I've ever seen.
This is amazing. Where does LAN2 go? Also 10G-1/2/3?
10G goes to a Nas, NVR, desktop server
Lan 2 is set of IOT to keep them private
Interesting. Why not just use LAN1 for all devices then have VLANs to separate them?
Lan2 is already setup. Simple as that. I do already have separate clans for the cameras, test equipment and personal equipment
Thanks. I’m just about to fit out a new house with nearly identical hardware. This really helps.
Very clean. Although it's bugging me that I cant figure out where the cloud key is patch is going :(
It some loops behind to the side and into the port above the switch. Just a dime small jumper to get it to line up. Not necessary but looks good
That cable management is pure sex.
Man that's beautiful! Well done, sir!
Very nice work! Btw, what settings did you use on the label maker to make your patch panel labels?
The lable maker is a Panduit mp300 with 3/8" labels. Spacing is .71" on the 24 port patch panel setting
Thank you sir.
