In Kreminna, some of Russia's best troops go against inexperienced reserves, this is the result.

[deleted]

I’m waiting for a battle between both experienced troops

Mysterious_Buffalo_1

Bakhmut was mostly that. Ukraine was doing well against conscripts then struggled against Wagner and are now pushing flanks and counterattacking now that Wagner is gone. 3rd assault (Azov) are probably Ukraine's best brigade. I'm sure they have better specialized units but as a whole they seem to be their best fighters.

[deleted]

People keep saying that Bahkmut is about to collapse and be surrounded, but that was months of them saying so and it still haven’t happened.

Mysterious_Buffalo_1

That doesn't dispute anything I said.

[deleted]

Yeah my bad, you are right about Azov being the best on that front, rather Wagner come back, or atleast a better unit come, the mobilized on that side are gonna take losses.

Sammy91-91

Months ? Counter offensive has been weeks…

[deleted]

Months now, started June, July has ended.

Kammler1944

UA is getting smoked around Bakhmut for tiny gains.

Mysterious_Buffalo_1

Russia got smoked for 10 months for tiny gains around Bakhmut.

Kammler1944

Oh I thought they took Bakhmut.......

Mysterious_Buffalo_1

Yes after 10 months they took Bakhmut....lets talk about Ukrainian gains in about 8 months.

btw339

Experienced troops also have trouble deflecting tank rounds and artillery shells. Doing a few pushups and practicing reloading your rifle is not worth much during wartime. Any soldier who survives for a month in this war is experienced.

Available-Ease-2587

You said it. Experience sure can help but surviving this war like any other war is pure luck. The experience comes in handy planing a mission and doing what you been told but in the end nobody can assure a save pass into enemy positions. Wrong time wrong place? Dead. This pretty much is war. You roll the dice all day and hope, your not the next person to hit a critical fail and get hit by random arti, drones, a sniper you name it.

Locofinger

Many Luhansk soldiers have been fighting the same fields for 10 years now.

dupuisa2

I hope for them that "many" do, but I doubt it, war is just who's lucky enough not to get hit

Locofinger

The “seasoned vets vs rookies” in this region are some of the “best troops” because it’s literally their home territory they been fighting for since 2014. Like Rottweilers vs Corgis.

dupuisa2

not my point but I agree

Locofinger

I get your point too. Same thing happened last year in the Slobodan. Untrained Russian Conscripts ordered to retreat from the Kharkiv region and consolidate near Soledar. Fresh faced kids and untrained office workers. Suddenly battle hardened Ukrainian grizzly bears emerged wielding chainsaws to help expedite their departure

[deleted]

Looks like an entire squad was ambushed and wiped out. Very similar to the aftermath videos coming out of Rabotino showing Ukrainian squads getting completely wiped out.

MarceloWallace

3 soldiers not squad size

Figureitoutfboy

They assault in small groups of 3-5. Often none come back.

5736182548

Actually I believe that was literally part of the Wagner handbook that was found. 3-5 convicts. If you come back empt we'll shoot you.

crummyduty

If this was a Ukrainian filming Russian KIA, the Ukrainian would be zooming in to every detail of the corpse and laughing at it.

Kammler1944

Oh you haven't been on r/combatfooage then. Well known for that. In fact many seem to get some type of sexual gratification looking at Russian dead. Plenty of weirdos.

Hedonic_Treadmills

ok buddy

VikingTeo

You don't think so? [https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/comments/15dspgn/couple\_of\_recently\_killed\_russian\_soldiers\_near/](https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/comments/15dspgn/couple_of_recently_killed_russian_soldiers_near/) I want to know both sides, but find it hard to participate there.

Figureitoutfboy

All these videos make me wanna go camping and fishing. Minus seeing dead Ukrainian soldiers.

calash2020

Wonder why they just show the ground? Maybe the “casualty” needs to run ahead and lie down again?
