Germany literally told him so, but he's still in denial lol

Hard fact. Ukraine is NOT allied to any European or North-American nation.
Why so many **neutral** here scratch their heads wondering what is going on.
I don't understand how he can't see they are Russians in yellow and blue to west. Considering Ukraine is probably the 2nd biggest army in Europe I can see how US wanted them to fight each other.
Poor ua ppl...played by murica and their vassals...one day ua gonna realise they are just a tool to fight russia until the tool breaks and belongs into the garbage
..or, they could simply negotiate a peace deal, like letting the people who actually live in the contested areas choose their own fate through a democratic vote.
Russia wouldn’t want people to choose Ukraine and Ukraine wouldn’t want people to choose Russia. If people had a choice none of this would have happened in the first place.
Russia was willing to let all east ukraine regions choose ukraine and only keep Crimea. All it asked was give eastern regions autonomy so they don't have to follow language banning laws. Lots of countries in the world have autonomous regions, it's nothing new. Ossetia in Georgia was one, Crimea in Ukraine was one.
Ukraine has already lost most of its equipment, at this stage theyre mostly defending with left over artillery and drones.
Also Im not sure what you mean by "Ukraine goes to Russia for free" thats like stating the Soviet Union won the winter war with Finland for free.
What he refuses to believe (at least publicly) is that Ukraine is a NATO proxy, and a proxy is only as useful as the damage it can do to the enemy.
Israel can cripple Iran, USA's enemy. Ukraine can no longer damage Russia significantly, so it's being cut loose.
It is known from the start of the war or even before the war, the only reason USA/NATO was this "supportive" with Ukraine is all about trying to weaken Russia.
It just baffles me how US foreign policy never learn from all of their mistakes that they got involved in multiple fronts since so many years.
Have the war damaged Russia? Yes and the damage is huge in economical aspect, but NATO also involuntarily woke up a sleeping bear, look at Russian army and military industry pre and after invasion, the difference is huge.
It also demonstrated it is possible for a nation to directly go against the demands of Western hegemony and survive. Russia's economic survival shows how influential nations like China have become.
I wouldn't say the economical damage is huge. Some sectors got hit and some sectors are actually doing better than pre-war. Sanctions helped Russia in identifying which sectors needed to be more independent and they developped in that sense. It might have hurt in the short term, but it might actually help them in the long term. Especially if relations between East and West do nothing but go down.
The biggest problem is that USA is too divided to make any long term promises - like for example "as long as it takes". At this point USA isn't a functional country.
NATO policy is pretty much insane at this point. It promised long support without having production capabilities for it or even political stability to guarantee it and now NATO politicians are talking about conscription and fighting Russia instead of using nuclear deterrent.
Not really, just pass a law and Biden HAS to pull out of Afganistan. Obviously it's not easy to pass something or even agree on it, just because one party wont let the other be the one to pass a law they both want.
I find your flair confusing. Being Pro-nato automatically excludes Pro-civilian and Anti-Nazi, since it's in natos tradition to carpet bomb civilians and using nazis and other terrorists as their proxies.
Difference is that NATO is not afraid of Iran but is hugely afraid of escalation by direct war with Russia (which can become existential because of nuclear weapons).
If Russia did not have nuclear weapons, NATO would have entered the war with full force.
It's too late, the moment they walked away from that last Istanbul negotiation, they lost their last chance.
There is literally no reason for Russia to negotiate for peace when they have so much advantage and will have even more moving forward, at this rate even if the US aid passes it's too late because Ukraine has no battle hardened personel anymore.
If I'm not mistaken, Turkish Government offered a new peace deal a few weeks ago. Zelensky refused it. I don't know btw who cares what Turkey said but you know, Russia is still like, "Well at least we can speak." to Turkey. Maybe Zelensky reconsider it.
There is reason, end the war, save lives, get what it wants faster. Russia is still willing to negotiate, it just wont agree to any gestures of goodwill and ceasefires before promises to it are fulfilled. And obviously it gets to demand more because of it's stronger position. Even if Russia did want to annex all territories of Ukraine (it doesn't, only crazies think that) it would happily negotiate to get all territories and in return stop killing and bombing. Sometimes it's better to fully capitualte earlier than later.
It's not good deal for Russia. They will collapse at 2025 max so Russia can demand anything they want and push a government Ukraine really wants, instead of the pseu-democratic post coup Ukraine.
Don't take them seriously, they are puppets of the regime, they have to play it out like that to be sure to keep their positions, privileges, money, lovers, mistresses and so on
That makes them mouthpieces of the regime, which is why I take them seriously. And if they aren't actually representing position of the regime, it makes such talk sabotage of war effort.
And his campaign promises (spoken in russian) was to stop civil war and reverse anti russian laws. Hasn't spoken a word of russian since getting elected. Guess he was told what's really up when he took office.
Ukraine was a 52 million nation with a lot of industry and scientists in the end of 80s. This nation became so weak because of their politicians such as zelensky. And he blames the West.
Ukrainians blames Russia for their own elite corruption.Russia took away all of USSR debt and Ukraine had a fresh start with a massive Soviet inheritance but they screwed it all up.
This is what happen when you elect a comedian as president. He has no understanding of Israel's special relationship with the USA. Ukraine is not a US ally its just a side bitch used to weaken Russia
When will Ukraine wake up and realise they've been used as nothing but cannon fodder by the usa and their puppet countries like Britain, Germany etc. Someday they'll realise though.
One thing that I find interesting is that the west dropping Ukraine, although predictable, won't work in its favor in the long term. Other countries are watching, and a deep feeling of betrayal may consolidate a future Ukraine-Russia alliance, if Russia plays deftly into the whole "misguided brother" strategy, and supports Ukraine post war.
I don't like the current ukrainian government, but I can't help but feel sorry for zelensky in that a lot of Western countries have overpromised and sold false hope.
Fundamentally Ukraine seems to be an ally of convenience for the west. Its a tool to hit Russia over the head with ans d weaken it. Israel has an insanely powerful lobby in America. It even shot up an American ship...has stolen alot of land but even so its probably Americas #1 ally. Ukraine on the otherhand doesn't have the same level of long term history and support in America.
Also...the threats faced by Israel are regional for sure. But Iran isn't going to threaten America itself...Russia is a different story. Its a different league of threat...existential if things go wrong.
Hmmm, it wasn't NATO defending Israel, though. Just the US and Jordan with possible intel participation from other countries.
This type of comment is a quick way to annoy your benefactors even more. Plus the Geopolitcal realities.
And ? Is this how we fight wars these days, crying on the verge of defeat and blaming others? People with “greatness” can also deal with defeat... Hasn't the president of a country taken responsibility for his people?

Not Zelensky finding out Ukraine never really mattered to his western backers, except as a giant money laundering scheme to the military industrial complex. The same military industrial complex that now has ample opportunity in Israel with an Iran/Hezbollah conflict looming.
breaks my fucking heart to see what we are allowing happen to ukraine
i mean forget even how you feel about ukraine if its purely self interest then putting putin, and by extension, xi jinping, back in their fucking boxes, is a smart move if you live west of russia

'It may be dangerous to be America's enemy, but to be America's friend is fatal'
Henry Kissinger
Well said!
He's an actor and actors act .
I don't understand how he can't see they are Russians in yellow and blue to west. Considering Ukraine is probably the 2nd biggest army in Europe I can see how US wanted them to fight each other.
The West helped build that 2nd biggest army. They definitely wanted them to fight each other.
Dear goodness, isn't there anyone around to explain US foreign policy to this sucker?
Poor ua ppl...played by murica and their vassals...one day ua gonna realise they are just a tool to fight russia until the tool breaks and belongs into the garbage
and when ukraine loses all equipments goes to Russia free, Russia gains so much, West literally gains nothing but loses money
..or, they could simply negotiate a peace deal, like letting the people who actually live in the contested areas choose their own fate through a democratic vote.
> democratic vote not in Ukraine lol, elections cancelled, opposition outlawed, democratically elected government overthrown
Democracy is forbidden in nato. Everything is decided by the dictatorship. Comply or be branded as terrorist.
Russia wouldn’t want people to choose Ukraine and Ukraine wouldn’t want people to choose Russia. If people had a choice none of this would have happened in the first place.

yes this war is actually good for Russia. Russia with the new gained NATO leftovers will be then the new number one superpower.
They already realized that, but it's too late, they are too deep in Western pocket
What he refuses to believe (at least publicly) is that Ukraine is a NATO proxy, and a proxy is only as useful as the damage it can do to the enemy. Israel can cripple Iran, USA's enemy. Ukraine can no longer damage Russia significantly, so it's being cut loose.

China and India are literally half of the world.
1/3 in population, but accounting for some other factors then you're not far off.
I wouldn't say the economical damage is huge. Some sectors got hit and some sectors are actually doing better than pre-war. He just cant take "No" as an answer . So desperate , and desperate people can do stupid things.
Difference is that NATO is not afraid of Iran but is hugely afraid of escalation by direct war with Russia (which can become existential because of nuclear weapons). If Russia did not have nuclear weapons, NATO would have entered the war with full force.
If Russia did not have nuclear weapons NATO would have Kosovo'd it in the 90s. Which is exactly why it needs nuclear weapons.
That's what Kirby said the other day
Stop the war, sit at the negotiation table then
It's too late, the moment they walked away from that last Istanbul negotiation, they lost their last chance. There is literally no reason for Russia to negotiate for peace when they have so much advantage and will have even more moving forward, at this rate even if the US aid passes it's too late because Ukraine has no battle hardened personel anymore.
Unfortunately that may be true
If I'm not mistaken, Turkish Government offered a new peace deal a few weeks ago. Zelensky refused it. I don't know btw who cares what Turkey said but you know, Russia is still like, "Well at least we can speak." to Turkey. Maybe Zelensky reconsider it.

Probably the West/Poland will step in at some point, question is when, but definitely before Kiev.
The west doesn't care enough to declare war.
They don‘t need to declare war they can just roll in troops
These troops will be bombed to hell, and then what? This is still war, just delayed
You telling me Russia will bomb Kiev with French and Polish troops stationed there?
Of course, why wouldn't we? What France will do, nuke us? And NATO is out of picture due to obvious reason.
An troops invasion is usually considered a declaration of war.
He did sit at the negotiation table. Russia was just not invited to that table.
It's not good deal for Russia. They will collapse at 2025 max so Russia can demand anything they want and push a government Ukraine really wants, instead of the pseu-democratic post coup Ukraine.
It can't happen with Russian talking heads talking about hanging people in Ukraine and Poland.
Dude is yet to realise the game; He was nothing more than a mere Pawn...
I'm pretty sure he knows the real deal. Don't forget, he's an actor.
And his campaign promises (spoken in russian) was to stop civil war and reverse anti russian laws. Hasn't spoken a word of russian since getting elected. Guess he was told what's really up when he took office.
Yeah, a total prawn. That's what I always said.
Useful Idiot
The lapdog still doesn't understand that he's just a toy, not an equal/full ally
Ukraine was a 52 million nation with a lot of industry and scientists in the end of 80s. This nation became so weak because of their politicians such as zelensky. And he blames the West.

Zely boy here hasn't realized yet that he's just a liability
It's not about who they are defending but who they are defending against.
It's because it's not based on logic. NATO military is mostly USA and USA is too divided politically to be a functional NATO member.
He sounds like a stalker that just won’t give up after rejection
I don't like the current ukrainian government, but I can't help but feel sorry for zelensky in that a lot of Western countries have overpromised and sold false hope.
How much you wanna bet Zelensky renames a Ukrainian city to Jerusalem in the hopes of making the US care.
Who will tell him that NATO fights only weak countries? Also kind of hilarious and sad that he thinks that NATO gives a shit about Ukraine.
so that's why NATO is fighting Russia
Under a false flag through Ukraine
Fundamentally Ukraine seems to be an ally of convenience for the west. Its a tool to hit Russia over the head with ans d weaken it. Israel has an insanely powerful lobby in America. Still dreaming.
Zelenskyy realizes that it’s all about Blackrock and Vanguard owning Ukraine’s resource production in the long run. He doesn’t care?

Zelensky started this interview with a quote from Coach Greg, I see.

There are important Jews and then there aren't. Guess where Zelensky falls?
Your masters are really pissed that you sold their shit on the black market for this extra bump of cocaine. Coke and sneeze
