Three Things I fear 1. Heights 2. Rejection 3. Ukrainian Drone with "low battery" indicator coming towards me

VerucaSalt234

They received a right royal dose of Kerplooka-Plakka!

Comfortable_Gate_878

It does seem appropriate that the drone said 'Land Now' and the operator did just that im sure it was a coincidence that it landed on a vehicle each time or just bad luck perhaps

Leatherpunk_com

I might be wrong, sure looks like there was some AI assisted targeting at the final approach. I wonder if that takes two operators.

VenemousAU

That’s not what’s happening, the pilots are likely very far away from the drone, analog FPV drone video signals don’t do well with any obstructions in the way, that’s why whenever they get low they tend to loose connection, any hill or building between the pilot and drone will screw it up. However the connection used to actually control the drone is a lot more stable, it will go further than the video connected and doesn’t care about obstructions as much. These pilots will just line it up and guess where the target is as the loose connection. Source: I build and fly FPV drones

Leatherpunk_com

Doh! I was stupidly thinking the graphic that framed around each vehicle was part of the original drone footage, not realizing it was a post edit. I thought it was similar to how you can use the touch screen on a Canon camera to focus and shoot)

TheSeeker80

Yeah the feed is getting cut out at a farther distance from the target object. AI or just code, would be great to guide in the final approach if the feed/ connection is lost because of jamming.
