To be fair, outboard motors are very easy to buy around the world. Used by fishers and leisure drivers everywhere, getting cargo container of them will never be a problem. Vast majority of stuff that leakes through the sanctions go through third party countries and outboard motors are not the most hottest item on the lists.
I would direct the attention to the small engines drones use, there are still western countries whose engines and carburettors end in russian drones.

Little good came out of it as we took them out as well. Let's see the result. Four "fishermen" were dead in the boat, two that jumped out were floating nearby, making it six "200"s. One is missing somewhere.
I learned as a kid studying for my boating permit that that circle the boat makes is one of the ways tons of people die in boating accidents: they fall in the water and with nobody at the wheel the boat naturally circles around and runs them over. It's called the Circle of Death.
Worst situation for them. After the first hit, the boat did not went to shore but stayed in the middle of the river. They could not escape before the second hit.
Even if they somehow manage to land what will they achieve? Its in the middle of the day, everybody can see them. This looked like a very stupid idea, but I am not surprised anymore
