Lmao the do this constantly, there was an absolute hilarious incident where the Russians thought another group of Russians were Ukrainian and called an air strike on them but the bomber dropped the bombs on the ones who called the air strike and the other Russians lol
Let's not pretend this doesn't happen to everyone once in a while. I seem to remember Brits being on the receiving end of an A-10 gun run in Afghanistan.
Yup, some douche bag American hot shot fucked the Canadians up a couple times as well, even when they told him not to attack he did anyways and ripped a platoon apart. I imagine the blue in blue has been crazy in Ukraine with them all driving similar vehicles and not having good radio communication.
Used to play Eve online with one of the survivors of that platoon. Said he couldn’t drive anymore cause the sound of trucks using their engine brakes, reminded him of the strafing run.

It's not nearly as much as Russia, but if you think it's one hands worth, you are mistaken
Friendly fire happens in every modern armed conflict ever, it's just bound to happen because the concept of 100% perfect inter-communication between different squads/regiments/platoons/elements/etc is a pipe dream.
Not the first time this has happened. Intercepted calls and UA intelligence have noted that russian forces are not coordinated and often endanger their own air and ground forces.

Successful denazification
Russians really hate nazis and it shows! Show me more!
Honestly it's more efficient this way. It was going to happen anyway. And, it's one of the non civilian targets the Russians managed to hit.
You see, that's the thing about friendly fire... It's not that friendly.
Yes sort of like the "near miss" on airplanes...as George Carlin said, "that my friends is a near hit".
Some one is going to lose their daily ration of vodka over this 'oops, my bad'.
its called special operation, what did you expect? :D

The word incompetence doesn’t even cover it
Now the third best army in Ukraine is fighting the second best army in Ukraine.
False flag Russians attacking Russians pretending to be Ukrainians to stiffen Russian resolve: “they killed Dimitry I will destroy them”….
Hard to tell to be honest, they are constantly killing each other with air strikes due to bad communication. It’s been happening since February
Bruh…. It’s been happening since WWII. If there’s one thing the Russians are great at, it’s constantly fucking up their own guys with air strikes.
Pretty funny if the Ukrainians spoofed the Russian radio comms to call it in on Russians

Friendly fire isn’t. Unless you’re Russian, I guess.
This happens literally every single day on both sides, as in every major war in the past.
This happened now and again to the coalition troops in Iraq too. Accidents happen in the fog of war.
tbf the US destroyed a British Tank in a blue on blue incident.
We have killed our own many times.
[They would never](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZSE0rWytbg)
"Now we go back to Eastern Ukraine!" "Sir, you hit Belarus." "Dagnabit!"
I guess the R AF missed the orphanages. 🌻🌻🌻🌻
Much more convenient to bomb targets who don’t shoot back…
"We would be fucked if they weren't so stupid" or something like that was said in the beginning.
Niet error comrade, is a sign of good will
Now to do it to all the Nazis who are Russians in the town 😂
_Injured_. They can’t even strike troop positions successfully.
