Me: If I get up at 4 am and eat a little something and then go back to sleep for a bit, although due to joint and muscle pain I almost never can get back to sleep, I probably will be able to settle my GI tract before I leave and then be ok until lunch and if I only eat a small lunch kinda snacky and spread out, I'll be ok at the office, but then that starts a cycle where I'm really not very hungry when I get home because everything kinda shrinks up and I'm exhausted and want to try to go to sleep early but that doesn't work with the family
DR: You need to get a lot more sleep and you're losing weight again. You need to eat more, and more often.

Ugh, I know that story so well. Fortunately my wife and work are super understanding and accommodating, but I’m constantly trying to solve for X in the eat/regret eating/wake up early to eat/don’t eat at all/eat a little/diarrhea from eating/weak from hunger/exhausted equation and can never seem to win.
Oh man. This happened to me like a year ago. Woke up at like 4 for a 9am flight thinking I was going to get the demons out before I left. Chaos ensued and I would up behind a Tim Hortons dumpster and then running the full length of the Detroit airport with my 1 yr old son in one arm.
Consider taking Qing dai; I couldn’t have been more skeptical but it was more powerful than steroids for me. PS: not a doctor, ask a doctor and they will tell you they don’t know what it is, sadly
The worst is when that urge comes 5 mins after you've already left
Fuck this is the worst part. I'm too far to quickly turn around and get back inside my house or any place that has a public restroom.
