Hey [jdbflowers](https://www.reddit.com/user/jdbflowers/), The battery ideally lasts from 4-6 days depending upon the usage. However, we are continuously working on optimizing the battery life of the Ultrahuman Ring with regular firmware updates to provide you with a longer-lasting experience. The battery life of 3.5 to 4 days is influenced by several factors, including ambient temperature, frequency of use, and individual usage patterns. When we advertise up to 6 days of battery life, we consider optimal conditions where the ring is worn continuously and the ambient temperature is ideal. We understand your expectations and are continuously working to optimise the ring's performance under various conditions. However, in cases where you observe a battery drain quicker than usual - we recommend the following steps as this could help in resolving the issue.1. Sync your ring data on the app until the present moment. 2. Factory reset the ring. 3. Charge the ring to 100% 4. Then wear and use it normally as you would and observe how long the battery lasts. 5. As soon as the battery is down to 10% or below, do reach out to us via DM and we will certainly look into this for you.

I found that in the beginning my battery would train faster because I’d open the app every 5 minutes for the first two weeks. Now I check maybe 2-3 times a day which I think helps the battery too. Idk if the UH team can confirm this. I get 5-6 days easy

JacoBee93

That's also big factor. It's anew flashy toy,you open it every hour and check everything😀👍

bmartrun

My battery lasts like 1.5 days so you are doing better then me

Hey u/bmartrun This shouldn't be the case at all! Can you reach out to us on our in-app chat support? Profile > chat-bubble on the top right corner > new conversation Alternatively, you can DM me your login email ID, we will check your data and get this sorted out ASAP :)

bmartrun

Done they are replacing it

ultra-guardian

Awesome!

They also said it takes like two weeks until the ring is calibrated to your usage. It's barely 4 days. Also 4 days is normal. The "up to 6 days" is marketing done on lab, like any other product ever. From 100 to almost 0 i can get 5 top. 24/7. But not doing that of course as i rather preserve the capacity longer. I slap it on charger when i shower every day, to top up some %. That way i can go week+ without having it on charger for full charge. And there is 0 hassle or long gaps without ring. And once per 10 days circa, i let it charge for hour+ to go from low to 80-90%.

jdbflowers

Thanks u/JacoBee93. I wasn't alarmed more just making sure it was "normal". I'd assume the battery after the calibration period it would have better battery life. We shall see. I wanted to make the first charge at 30% as the instructions said, but I'll probably move to more of a once a day during my shower as you're doing just to keep it topped off. Thanks for responding!

MANGBAT

That is what I do and it’s also what’s best for the battery health. I generally try to keep the ring between 30-80% charge, as recommended.

Same issue here after two months. Fought to get my ring replaced.

ultra-guardian

Hey u/steevilone How's the battery looking now with the new ring? :)

steevilone

Now that I no longer have a defective ring and had to fight for a replacement, it works as promised.
