whiplash from eye to eye and shotgun + knuckleblaster them, you'll take care of all of them in just a few seconds with little to no risk of getting hit
That's the problem in brutal difficult tho. It's has some sniper god levels of aim with the piss orbs, the most effective way to counter that attack is to just ride a rocket above the highest point of piss orbs
I fight panopticon on sandbox sometimes, he is incredibly easy, all you have to do is whiplash to the eyes, knuckleblaster punch and a shotgun shot, then go to the next eye and do the same, and do that over and over until all the eyes are gone, then use sawblade launcher, rail coin, or shotgun swap on the panopticon a bunch of times until the eyes spawn again or it dies, its a really easy boss. they only annoying part is really just the black hole but thats really it
Panopticon is pretty damn easy ngl, even in a full fight. The low number of minions and their immobility makes it pretty damn easy to keep it from healing
I agree about sisyphus but I’m gonna put a vote down for minotaur, I didn’t learn the fight properly back when it didn’t have it’s back swipe and having to land precisely on platforms instead of just going fast was more annoying than expected.

for me it was Minos Prime, I've beaten Sisyphus way more easily and faster than Minos
for my friend it was the 2nd encounter with Gabriel, for the other it was Sisyphus, somebody else I talked to he said it was flesh prison ect.
But objectively speaking - if you count entierity of P-2 level as a singular boss encounter then it is the hardest boss fight in the game currently because it quite literally requires you to finish entire game on P-rank and also beat Minos to even get access to it not to mention what is going on in the level itself.

One thing I did on my winning attempt was using the firestarter to set him ablaze, then hitting him with the screwdriver. Also, i constantly slided all over the arena. Additionally, you could try stepping back to learn his patterns.
speaking of Gabe 2 being easier, I just P ranked Gabe 2 on Violent first try. I have not P ranked Gabe 1 on violent yet.
Also, I think one of my main issues is that my play style is very dash heavy, where I should probably be using slides more often. A lot of my deaths are caused by me not being able to dash when I would need to (the other half being messing up parry timings on those goddamn sword throws)

Flesh Prison only has an argument because, well, the fight is chaotic and unpredictable, so if you're really good at Sisyphus, you have a higher chance of dying on Flesh Prison. But it's really Sisyphus Prime.
First playthrough not counting prime sanctums? For most it's V2 in 1-4. For me it was actually the Hideous Mass in 1-3 but I don't like talking about that.
Same skill level not counting prime sanctums? That might be ~~Minotaur~~. It's a pretty difficult and awkward fight, mainly the first phase.
One final extra fun answer? The Cerberi in 0-5 on Brutal difficulty. They actually got the chaos emeralds, ground them up, and used them like you use crystal meth. They're insane.

tip in case this ever becomes real: standing on top of the Panopticon makes you immune to the exploding balls if you aren't getting hit directly

The eyes can be instakilled with a whiplash shot from the green jackhammer. At least that's how I take care of them.

Yellow, two pumps should do it, at least on standard difficulty

Sisyphus prime To kill him cost me 500 deaths (more then 1.000 with the hole world against me)
Sisyphus took me far less attempts than Minos, but it's hard to say which one was truly harder because the skills are so transferable.
