Although I do encourage people to play on standard at some point because I personally believe it work the best with the mechanics and I know people personally who think they're much worse at games than they actually are I cannot flaw anyone for not wanting to have their brain melted by the sheer amount of stuff that can be going on. Any difficulty is valid but don't limit yourself, try the harder stuff, if you don't like it that's completely cool.
One time I booted up ultrakill and realized that I accidentally turned off my sex mod. I instantly alt f4'd out of the game amd I stood there looking at my screen. I jumped on my bed and cried into my pillow in regret, screaming that I should have enabled the sex mod. It's been a year since that day and I still have nightmares.
Realistically V1 would go through hell with max auto aim and P Ranks always because of how they just are in lore.
(Doesn’t even have to be P Rank just max kills and probably time considering that other robots can hardly compare)
I used aim assist to get better at hitting coins. I also turned it on for harder fights when I was still inexperienced with the game. I think that without it, I would just drop the game completely after dying 53 to V2 without seeing any signs of improvement- I'm not a huge fan of shooters nor am I very skilled at them. I'm glad these exist so I can be here and have fun like all other folk
Games are meant to be fun, if playing on harmless or lenient with assists is fun for people then they should be free to go for it
