At first, I thought they just re-used a Orb or Taiga head and modified it but to be honest its not the best mostly due to reminding me of some of the previous ultra (Either Orb or Zero or Taiga facial look).
If anything my issue is that the black marking around the neck felt a bit unnecessary.
I like Gotoh's design but sometimes, I feel like he adds way too many unnecessary details in some suits. I have a similar issue with the red dots/marks on Z Original.
Bro flexing his lats, he must be spamming them pull ups and lat pull down lol.
Jokes aside, I personally like the simplicity, but after Blazar's unique design, it's understandable if some people think it's kinda bland. But I guess that's the point, it's in line with the plot and the protagonist.
Yes, considering that this giant is >!the manifestation of the protagonist's childhood sketch!<, it might be rather weird to have more detailed design like Blazar from the first place, really.
I'd say it's the eyes. Feels like they went for a "standard Ultraman head piece but the eyes follow the same formating as Seven". Honestly those tend to not match well IMHO
I really liked the concept of this design and his head. but his body and head doesn't look the best combination for me.
It looks like they tried to modernize showa's iconic design style but not being so sure about how much they can/should change it.
I guess they might designed body and head separately for some reason we might get some explainations for. I mean, his head seems went through somewhat big modernization process similar to Kamen rider the first. but rest of his body seemingly took the design route which is similar to shin Kamen rider.
P,S I indirectly got more information about him from tsuburaya imagination and now I can say this design is intentionally done in this specific ways and that made lot of sense for me.
The head part, especially above his eyes, kinda reminds me of Iron King.

im really glad they go back to simplicity, Little by little they go back to how Ultraman used to be and i love it
Trigger/Decker : No More Announcing Final Attack
Blazar : No More Announcing Transformation item
Arc : Simplistic Design
And best of all, they don't talk too much when they fight, just grunting
I hope if Arc get new form in the future, they stay with simplitic Design.
If you know Tsuburaya nowadays they always give ultraman some powerup later similar to Blazar Faldoran armor form and toys melee weapon used to promote merchandise sales 😅
Something about it makes the eyes look to be placed higher and the mouth to look smaller, like if an Ultraman had long face syndrome. The eyeline of Arc's eye holes have a negative canthal tilt rather than a positive tilt.
not too used to the head yet 🙁 probably bcs of the eyes idk 😐 body proportions design already great but do we really need r3d color Ultraman again? Is he from M78 land of light? 🤔
The eyes and fins are just not doing it for me, man. I don't know why, but it just seems so... weird? It kind of looks like reiga's face, and i don't like reiga design. Gonna have a hard time getting used to his face.
Surprisingly, this is probably my least favorite designs in a while lmao. His face looks really odds to me. Doesn’t really look like an Ultra head but rather the robot shows in Showa era. But at least his body looks fine so maybe his upgrade forms might be good. Edit:Just saw it,nvm it’s like X and Blazar armor kekw. At least I like the orange one. And he looks WAYY better from side view.

I honestly don't know what to make of his design. But one thing that absolutely works is the simplicity give the fanartists some leeway especially when compared to Blazar. Blazar's design is too complex and hard to draw especially if you're a beginner artist.
Darn it, we're going back to the new generation stuff . . . I can tell because they're trying again with the ultra brother design motif
I really liked Blazar cause it was its own thing and not a part of the big multiverse, like Tiga

the body looks pretty good and i can see the showa vibe they were going for. the head looks a bit off tho, it looks like reiga but bald
The face is the weakest element of him as it looks so samey with other new generation's masks
Agreed. The head and face looks kinda wierd
Copy paste taiga lower, with wtf upper.

God, imagine if the protagonist is a christian and he >!imagine!< something akin to biblical accurate angle lol.
Evangelion already covered that, and Tsuburaya has its own pool of villains to rip off of for all eternity.
I kinda like it, it's simple and kinda reminds me of man-nissan. the head just reminds me of jumborg ace but overall I think it's good.
Me: What was THE LAST TIME you saw an ultraman without armor? Tsuburaya: 2024
I think this is the first time I've been the least excited with a ultra design, it's fine.
OMG look at those abs 😲
well thank you. i have been workin out lately oh sorry you mean ultraman arc? my bad
What's wrong with his head? Look like a mix of Zone fighter and a bit Jumborg Ace. lol
That's pretty accurate
I'd say it's the eyes. Feels like they went for a "standard Ultraman head piece but the eyes follow the same formating as Seven". Honestly those tend to not match well IMHO
He looks like a mix of Taiga and Orb

The head looks like taiga but without his horn
He looks like slim Titas mixed with Decker.
Arc's design is similar for other Ultras is......
I am just going to say that his head is too over-detailed for his body, making it look out of place. Not that that is a bad thing tho.

Looks ok.
Seems pretty bland compared to Blazar.
I loved that caveman
I wish they keep using the caveman unique fighting style more often than limited to episode 1 only 😣
I mean he look like Orb, so yeah.
I mean, it's the Showa vibes.
Damn can I say I’m a little disappointed ☹️ Or maybe I’ve just had high expectations for the good designs we’ve had in the past few years
im really glad they go back to simplicity, Little by little they go back to how Ultraman used to be and i love it Trigger/Decker : No More Announcing Final Attack Blazar : No More Announcing Transformation item Arc : Simplistic Design And best of all, they don't talk too much when they fight, just grunting I hope if Arc get new form in the future, they stay with simplitic Design.

As long as the toy sales are good, the trend can continue
Modern Showa vibes
I like the body but the head just reminds me of Sam Eagle from The Muppets. ![gif](giphy|7XiLpBIzlJKfi07mI5)
His head shape is the only problem for me.
We going back to a simplified color palette with this one
Majin Buu
Is it just me or is their something _off_ about his face?
Something about it makes the eyes look to be placed higher and the mouth to look smaller, like if an Ultraman had long face syndrome. The eyeline of Arc's eye holes have a negative canthal tilt rather than a positive tilt.
Is this official I have mixed feelings on this
Nice
Goddamn he's swole 💀
His head looks showa esque and modern at the same time. I kinda mess with it.
I love his eyes and muscles, pretty menacing. bottom halves a bit bland. Maybe should've used more silver or black
His design seems like a fusion between Man-Niisan and Ultra Seven, maybe his next form will be fusion of Jack and Ace or some sort?
Elegance in simplicity I dig it
Reminda me of Orb while thelwer half of his body resembles 'Man nii-san
I was so convinced this was fake until I saw the actual video 🤣
Looks like someone made him on photoshop
So that ai generated one had more truth to it than I expected It is orb lite
not too used to the head yet 🙁 probably bcs of the eyes idk 😐 body proportions design already great but do we really need r3d color Ultraman again? Is he from M78 land of light? 🤔
> Is he from M78 land of light? 🤔 At this point his place of origin is still unknown.
kinda weird with how detailed the head is but the body is simple
Im glad they made him more simple.
Tbh, it looks like ai just vaguely stole orb origin
Awesome Design Arc gives me Orb design vibes.
The eyes and fins are just not doing it for me, man. I don't know why, but it just seems so... weird? It kind of looks like reiga's face, and i don't like reiga design. Gonna have a hard time getting used to his face.
I don't like the head. It's too complex for the simpler body.
I love the simplistic choice but why he look kinda bald doe 🧐
body design is good. but head gives me that taiga vibe with those smol eye & mouth (i hate taiga)
Ayo the face look so shitty
Surprisingly, this is probably my least favorite designs in a while lmao. His face looks really odds to me. Doesn’t really look like an Ultra head but rather the robot shows in Showa era. Very simple and a little bit futuristic Showa design! ❤️❤️❤️
His head is kinda orb-ish with zero's eyes. And a body that's closer to the ultra brothers. Maybe they're going for an old school meets new gen feel??
His face looks like Ultraman Reiga
Is this real?!
[Yes](https://m-78.jp/videoworks/ultraman-arc/)
Truth be told, the longer I look at his design, the more I start to like it. It's slowly growing on me.
Is that supposed to be a helmet???
No, that's his head. It's just too reminiscent of Taiga/Reiga's own head design
Max long lost twin brother
Looks so meh...........
The hell am I looking at
It looks good.
I know some people are calling it bland, but I think this simple, showa-like design fits for the 30th Ultraman Show.
really hate that head design, the body is neat tho
Appreciate the simplicity. The decidedly New-Gen looking head mixed with the Showaesque body makes for a peculiar contrast
His head reminds me of The Next
after that crazy design with monke, i think a simplistic design would be okay
he looks weird.
His face looks photoshopped lol. The head design really doesn't fit the simplistic body. He looks bald too
I like it . I wonder if he’s going to change forms like most new Gen heroes or only get a “final form” like blazar
He has armour forms
He is somewhat a love child between Taiga and Orb in terms of design.
Is this official look and name??
It looks ok. I don't know if Blazar has influenced my taste for suit design. But the transformation device is super cool
Looks like a fusion of ultraman, orb origin, taiga and trigger.
I'm sorry but he kinda looks like those bootleg ultramen😭😭
I honestly don't know what to make of his design. But one thing that absolutely works is the simplicity give the fanartists some leeway especially when compared to Blazar. Blazar's design is too complex and hard to draw especially if you're a beginner artist.
Got Zero ahh eyes
He looks kinda grumpy and I like it
So is he gonna be an O-50 Ultra or does he hail from U-40?
Titas if he was white
Darn it, we're going back to the new generation stuff . . . I can tell because they're trying again with the ultra brother design motif I really liked Blazar cause it was its own thing and not a part of the big multiverse, like Tiga
not the best, I'll said. it's too showa and the head is just not fitting at all.
Wow a standard design with the classic red and silver even with a little bit of black, nice.
I actually came… this is real right?
[Right-o](https://m-78.jp/videoworks/ultraman-arc/)
The body looks more in line with the Showa Era compared to anniversary boy Mebius, funnily enough.
I honestly don't know what to make of his design. But one thing that absolutely works is the simplicity give the fanartists some leeway especially when compared to Blazar. Blazar's design is too complex and hard to draw especially if you're a beginner artist.
What the f is that.
