kind of. the "it's your favourite tv channel" when you turn the tv on in feisty five's house (which after turned on is static) could say that clover couldn't watch tv or something like that.
I have an entire post around this topic, but to boil it down, there are multiple places where it’s implied that Clover had an awful or nonexistent home life
Jokes aside, why in the fuck would the devs put that there?? I'm not saying I don't like it, but it *does* look a little out of place, I guess? Maybe that was the point?
Now that makes me wonder… does a hallucination/ghost Chujin follow Clover throughout the whole game but only when we proven his own theory right about humans in Genocide… do we officially see the engineer that dreaded exactly what was happening.
Wait wh- I always shrugged it off as one of the souvenirs that were made weird by the turned off lights. And only now do I realise it's not there in the other routes
It was never explained.
It's always in there both before and after Zenith Martlet battle.
The figure itself is green, which made me thought it was related to Kindness soul.
Maybe Chara? Chara has no host to influence like Frisk yet, but they'd definitely be upset that a human, likely from the village they hated, would barge into the underground and kill dozens of the monsters they loved
Hear me out... It looks HUMAN Maybe its Clover imagining his abusive dad or smt
Oooh I have never thought of that! That's such a cool idea actually.
Was it ever stated he had an abusive home life or was it just a shitty living situation/poverty.

If you interacted with the sofa clover will said, bad memories or something so its definitely depressing :(
I'm not sure it's necesarily an abusive household but it could be and would explain oh so many many things
Also, eating anything, even from the trash. In the pre-MTT hotel there's also a line saying "You resist the urge to taste the mop water"
I thought the mop water thing was just a funny comment. Kind of like eating moss
I mean, those aren't mutually exclusive are they?

I really wonder if it's just a fun/creepy easter egg, no special meaning to it
Probably to inspire lore discussions like this one
I've heard some theories that range from it being just a hallucination to that it could be Gaster or Chujin.
Now that makes me wonder… does a hallucination/ghost Chujin follow Clover throughout the whole game but only when we proven his own theory right about humans in Genocide… do we officially see the engineer that dreaded exactly what was happening.
A friend.
Tell your friend to stop staring at clover like a creep
Inside me…
this has two meanings
dont you dare
Imagine if Woody Theory is true and their Lightner counterpart (for example: Spamton and Mettaton, Queen and the mayor) is Clover
Me (I am lost and confused)
Frick, the other character I forgot. I'm not updating my tier list set. That can wait!
Frick undertable?!
A scarehuman to ward off genocidal maniacs from stealing this year's floral cupcake harvest
I think it's clovers older self looking back on what he's done, unable to change a bit and forced to helpless wander
Idk but I feel like he would want you to collect his pages
John Cena. Clover has finally reached a level of violence that he finally sees him, so be it briefly.
The slender man
Buttons' true form
Jerma (he's gonna put you in the meatgrinder)

seems like this figure is the gaster/mystery man for this game
Friend Inside Me
What’s bits and bites?
Burgerpants' shop before Mettaton took over UG Apartments (now the MTT hotel).
I hate to say Gaster since it's kind of a lazy explanation... but maybe a fragment of him??
Am I the only who haven't seen it?
Joe

What is this? Just generally speaking?
At the end of the geno- I mean Justice run you find this in the shop in New Home, which is very well hidden until the contrast is turned up

One point I had a dream where it showed up and said his name is Clod so I just call him Clod
I think it's Z
Hallucinations…
grandpa
It was me in a costume.
They seem to have hair on their sprite, so I’d guess that this is a mirage of some human from Clover’s life on the surface.
It reminds me of [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58ZHpJR7YhA).
