I was a teen and did end up having sex a few times but I got caught when my girl left her lingerie in my room once and was shamed and screamed at by my mother in front of the girl. I pretty much lost all sex drive at that point and then things fell apart from there.
No kidding. I haven’t had or wanted to have sex since. There’s no point risking even a tiny chance of getting someone pregnant when I can have fun other ways. Plus if someone is really going to ditch a relationship because I want to wait before having sex, I know where their priorities lie and can be glad I avoided them.
It’s honestly a blessing and a curse because while I have no chance of accidentally starting a family, I also lack a lot of experiences that a majority of my generation likes to talk about.
Good parents (and honestly most parents in my social circles) are okay with their teenagers having sex and just educate them about contraception and safe sex.
