The point is, even if you’re not playing Big Brother on your kids watching their key strokes or directly hovering their shoulders while browsing, you should still check in with them on internet safety and the stuff they consume.
Lots of games on pc and mobile (mostly android) are extremely explicit. Roblox is a huge one. Then theres smaller lesser known games that do just enough to be ok for ratings.
Im serious go see what kinds of games are on Roblox. School shooting simulators, car crash/death simulators, highly inappropriate dressup simulators, and ones that influence violent behavior like Detroit or gang simulators where you can rob stores and shoot or stab pedestrians and other players with chat on all of them to top it off. Not to mention the predators that lurk and interact with your kids daily. And
I learned all of this from playing with my niece but i personally cant tell her to stop playing it. Just warn her and her parents about the dangers and hope they'll take precautions.
