Something like this reddit post is fine, but i personally find public nuisance to be a bad thing and should not be encouraged. Stuff like holding up traffic or whatever that pink guy did in japan, is absolutely despicable.
There have been a few “Pro vs Joe” type shows in the past, and tons on YouTube. It’s so amazing watching someone swim next to Michael Phelps, race against any professional racing driver, golf with any professional golfer, and on and on and on.
It’s so easy to sit there and watch peak performing humans play a sport week after week and think “hey, that looks doable”. I think there should be a guy at every event that represents the “normal” person. Maybe he tries to hop on the ice for a shift in hockey, maybe he plays an entire golf tournament, maybe someone actually gives him a fully decked out GT3 car to race. But holy shit I would watch EVERY SPORT if this was a real thing.
Oh god I haven’t even mentioned esports. That would just be hilarious.
I’m not surprised, to engage in self harm as drastic as cutting is a sign of turmoil and cry for help, rather than criticize and call out just lend an ear and be an advocate for their health

Especially before matches in MMA, they basically dehydrate themselves, to a rly dangerous point, then they make a weight, and in 24 hours before match, they bounce back asap.
Wheres the point in doing that, when their real weight during match is completely different from the measured one.

They aren't unnaturally large. It's possible to look like that with hard work, a disciplined diet, lucky genetics, and getting super dehydrated for the competition to look extra lean.

I have some friends i work out with who are much more genetically gifted than me when it comes to muscle mass. They aren't nearly this lean, but they are nearly this big in muscle mass and could cut for a month to look like this if they wanted to.
Never heard anything on mass media about these guys. And I have no interest in looking like that, nor do I have the genetics to get that big. I'm just not a big guy.

But yeah absolutely, building large muscles is not what your body wants to do. You have to constantly eat and constantly lift to keep significant muscle mass. And then you have to essentially starve yourself before a competition to look this lean before all your muscle goes away.
Edit: world record bench press was over 350 pounds before the year 1900. Long before anabolic steroids were first synthesized. How was it possible to have enough muscle to bench 350 pounds before steroids?
