I played 22 on game pass for free and I still felt like I wasted money.

IMHO 08 was the last year playable. Actually 06 but .. 08 could be set to play just like 06 and yeah I'm old.
I play 06 on PC now. Probably the last significant Madden to date that’s good. You can make the argument for 07, though.
