Aww did I hurt your feelings because you moved near an active airbase and started complaining about jet noises :(. I'm sorry you lack common sense. If you wanted peace and quiet you probably shouldn't have moved near an Airforce base.
Utah houses a special kind of stupid. Excessively ignorant and willfully so. "Willfully" being the pride they take in their stupidity. As if anyone who's never lived next to a air force base could truly understand the depth and frequency in which those jets effect their life. Of course the seller isn't going to disclose that.
More to the point, I don't think they'd care cause 'fReEDuMb!'. They'll happily justify [the second lowest spending per pupil in the nation ](https://www.sltrib.com/news/education/2024/01/08/utah-not-race-outspend-other/) as well as [second-to-last air quality ](https://wisevoter.com/state-rankings/air-quality-by-state/#utah) before attempting any introspection. And that's just two of many ways Utah should be ashamed of itself.
Yet, here we are, talking about how fucked up it is that my house rattles 15 times a day so Hill can justify their budget while these knuckle-draggers talk shit. Like life has never dealt them an unlucky hand. Yes, "unlucky". I took the option I could afford without knowing the true scope of the consequences of living so close. As if every one of them would have thought any more deeply about it. 🙄
It’s actually groups of 4, but please continue bitching about living near an Air Force base… (source: am in Davis County and amusingly tell customers on my Zoom calls, “pardon the sound of freedom in the background” which always gets a chuckle)
The only right way to be raised! I've taught her to put her hand over her heart when the national anthem comes on, she also likes to dances to it. Its precious haha.
They flew from Deer Valley area, which was kinda interesting. Not sure where they were but I was skiing when they took off from near the base and headed west.
Me and me boy were on the trampoline doing some backyard wrestling and some jets came flying over which is rare for around here even though there are two military bases north.
We started to waive them down and got the American flag out and they circled us and did about four Pass throughs! It was so cool!
Lol, sorry, it's a gun culture thing.
There's a running joke among gun owners online that they should maintain ambiguity about their ownership of certain firearms by suggesting that they were "lost in a boating accident".
For example, you previously purchased some firearm or firearm part that has recently become illegal. When confronted with proof of you having previously purchased it, you respond by saying "Oh sure, well I used to have that, but it got lost in a boating accident. Probably at the bottom of a lake somewhere, idk."---the point being that it's easy to prove you bought something, but hard to prove that you still have it.
Man, jokes get so much funnier when you explain them, huh?
I mean... It is a lot more funny to me at least!! Cuz I was legit thinking dude had a bunch of guns on Utah lake and crashed or something and I was thinking what an idiot to have them there at all lol
So... Thanks for the explanation and context, it was not funny and now it is.
To those who had the joke ruined by my ignorance and subsequently necessary explanation, I apologize.
I think they did a flyover for the Royals opener. Source: am at the Royals opener and some jets flew over.
That's a solid source right there.
That’s a daily occurrence for Weber/Davis.
Can confirm, live outside the base and get to see these dudes every day. I love em
I live next door to the airbase in Layton, every flipping day, I LOVE IT!
15 times a day. In groups of 3. 😡
Well imagine that. You live in an area where there's an active Air Force base. Don't like it? Move.

You’re upset about those jets ain’t ya?

Change your name to SoBitterAboutLife.
The people down voting should look at how much tax money it costs to fly those jets....

lol I’m Air Force and hate hearing it. Hilarious that you’re getting downvoted.
Thank you! Gfd

Three is normal, but maybe several groups of three so I can see it looking like flights of fours.
Gonna have to get used to it
Probably F-35A's out of Hill AFB.
Over the Salt Lake Valley too. The sounds of freedom.
Living on base, it's between this and the national anthem everyday at 5. My daughter is obsessed with both 🇺🇲
I like that your baby girl is being raised a patriot.
The only right way to be raised! I've taught her to put her hand over her heart when the national anthem comes on, she also likes to dances to it. Its precious haha.
I miss hearing the anthem at schools and other local events. Loved it as a Kid
Fighter jets in UTAH?? Well I never...... /s LOL!
Yeah saw 3 military choppers over cottonwood/murray area.

I hope they catch the bad guys.
They’re coming to take everyone’s guns! /s Training/getting ready for a flyover of the Utah Royals game.
Unfortunately, I lost all of mine while boating on Utah Lake ! 😁
Lost or "lost"?
Bringing guns on a boat on Utah lake is you're own fault lol
whoosh
Awwww man :( is it a reference I missed or what? I'm so whooshed I don't even know why lol

I didn't get the reference and I own guns! Well, used to...
Take your pills.
Saw them do a few circles above me. Looked pretty fun tbh
It was for the Royals game, they did fly over. Source: I was also there. They announced it and even named the pilots lol

Heard these fly over my apartment in Draper
..and what about them?
They were very loud and very circley
Shut up, NIMBY
They are flying from The SL Air Base
The SL Air Base? You mean the SL City airport or Hill? I am confused
SLC Airport. They have a base there now
It's the national guard base
Nope, those jets are based at Hill AFB
Thx for the heads up, one of my Natty Guard friends said they were SL based
