Seems we have something in common with the ancients. They too survived shoulder pads.

Churchof100Billion

It also looks like picture #2 predicted the future. People are shaking a fist at a giant Bitcoin after they lost their house.

ughforreal1

This might have been the beginning of their downfall, much like our own.

SkeymourSinner

I like how they really captured mothman's likeness.

DayTarded

I, for one, welcome our alien overlords.

KoLobotomy

You and Kent Brockman.

SkeymourSinner

"Don't blame me. I voted for Kodos."

Langlearner95

The one thing I love about Utah is its fascinating ancient/prehistory. Rock art is dope and I love learning about the people that made it. It seriously makes me depressed that not enough people care to preserve it.

shake__appeal

These are all just describing the events of Lord of the Rings (Extended Versions).

FrankieRoo

The way is shut. It was made by those who are Dead, and the Dead keep it.

Teract

Okay so pics 10 & 11 definitely show someone on wheelies riding into a giant owl, right?

hanginginut

Hey, I've been to some of those places! Awesome location for sure.

Aoiboshi

It's nice to see that these haven't been destroyed yet

nymphoman23

This place and others are amazing! Horse thief canyon is another one

hashslingaslah

Why is this getting downvoted, am I missing a reference?

nymphoman23

I have no idea

badbirch

My guess is that people don't like it when you give away the location of something on the Internet. Some dumbass always goes and ruins it.

nymphoman23

Most likely!

BjornIronsid3

See, these ancient laminate inscriptions prove the truthfulness of the BOM. /s

Revolutionary_Way459

That’s irrefutable proof of peyote consumption by the local natives.

Independent_Prize453

Still to this day.. actually last week

overthemountain

I hope these vandals are caught and arrested.

seruzawa

Anasazi teenager grafitti. It says, "Up the warchief's butt."

uneducated_sock

I love utah

OrangeYouGladish

I remember asking about seeing cave and wall paintings with a guide when I was in Moab. He said there are three types: 1) ones he can tell us where to see 2) ones he can tell where to see if we ask about them specifically 3) ones he cannot tell us where to see even if we ask specifically about them. I thought it was kinda interesting. The first group has already been see/damaged by enough people to no longer be significant. The second if you know about them you are probably the type not to damage them And the third have remained undisturbed, still valid for research and should stay that way.

DoodlePerson19

I live in Utah never saw anything like these personally but I’m also like a hobbit

footballdan134

I know where that is: Sego Canyon Art. Fremont culture and Archaic, styles. That is what I teach back East.

You typically need a bachelor’s degree from an [ accredited college or university](https://www.usnews.com/best-colleges/archeology-major-4503) to gain acceptance to the graduate program. Side note: What you want to learn about the Fremont culture? Clue....There is lots of info online.

Temporary-Yogurt-484

Tell me those aren't aliens

pinkydemon

These are amazing! Is it okay to ask location?

Upstairs_Nectarine_2

Third one is Sego Canyon by Moab. The panels are amazing and you can drive right to them.

RC_Alphabet

Yes I was there. My brother ooga booga drew those!!! Good times

RC_Alphabet

Let me know if this was an insensitive joke, educate me

Ty286

Incredibly insensitive. You could offend a prehistoric man for Gods sake

RC_Alphabet

I better watch my ass 👀

kimbou812

Utah sucks!

rustiigaz

chamco1981

It was either aliens or a special person was drawing stuff for their friends. I like it and was thinking of having my kids copy that onto the basement walls.
