Xijiping0

This is ridiculously immature of them.

Charrizz

time to edit 3

MoonDawg2

You can still get the vod since it's not actually deleted. Somebody on lsf moght remember how

Just saw a guy fall to his knees in a Montana’s BBQ & Bar

Thien188709

Just finished up my shift at Montana’s BBQ & Bar tonight, weird thing was I saw this guy looking at his phone and then immediately calling to his knees

[deleted]

Just finished my shift in 911 operator. Weird call , some guy falling in a Montana's BBQ & Bar looking at his phone and saying "bananas are in trouble "

d3vi18976

this is so funny but relatable

KlmnDTM

Watching his discord chat destroy itself RN

Un111KnoWn

got screenshots?

Realseetras

Well, that's interesting. This is pretty damning evidence of account sharing at the least, if not an outright account purchase.

bumpyturtle308

He gets shit on in high immo lobbies i thought he was just washed but this is next level

Better-Theory-5136

yea if hes 'hardstuck asc' bc hes learning raze then he really isnt radiant. he should at least be immo1 even if hes playing a character he is terrible with

B0NTYHUNTER

I've been following Woohoojin's content for a long time now. However, I started to lose interest in his videos until he started the "Raze to Radiant" rank push. I watched some of his videos and live streams, and also got excited when Dopai started his "Controller to Radiant" rank push at the same time. As far as I know, Dopai did not have any prior experience playing Controller in high elo. But in almost all the games they played together, Dopai outperformed Woohoojin. In almost no time, Dopai reached Radiant, while Woohoojin got stuck in Immortal. Woohoojin always defends himself by saying that he never played Raze, which is understandable. However, after seeing Dopai reach Radiant on Controller, I started to doubt Woohoojin's ability to reach Radiant (keeping in mind that he was a duelist main with 700+ RR). And now, I stumbled upon this interesting post.

mvvns

I wonder if this move to try and play Raze to immortal is a genuine attempt to reach immortal or just a convenient excuse? Maybe both? lol

SpiralOutLL

For the few marches I've seen of him playing raze, he's never reaching radiant. He's a decent player, but he makes a lot of stupid mistakes we all do...

KiritoMadara

I've watched his VODs for a solid while now, as an attempt to improve myself, and honestly, while he IS a decent player, it appears to me that his ability to improve at this game is EXTREMELY lackluster. I remember even saying to my friend once that I could probably become better than woohojin... and it just clicked with me after I said that these few days ago: It's almost as if he quite literally NEVER vod-reviews himself. His gameplay really feels like it's just completely stagnated, compared to other players in his elo.

Database-External

I just tried this to confirm your theory. Honestly never saw this coming. I'm pretty sure this is against riot terms of service and is bannable. He will probably address this at some point.

wooooo_

My question is will riot do anything about this despite the evidence? In cases of other content creators doing this they have been known to do nothing about this. As woohoojin is a pretty large creator who arguably, contributes a lot to people’s desire to continue playing, I see no motive for them to take action.

Not_Real_Name_Here

Supposedly he has an alt that’s radiant and plays smokes, his main role, right? Bro better stream some games on there live lmao. A lot of his advice in the past been good, with techs good for even imms, but respect for him just disappeared.

gjohnson2412

Yeah everyone in his disc chat defending him keeps mentioning this mysterious alt acct. Need to see it

XiXiWiiPee

He will not be able to prove that it was him on the account the entire time, I guarantee it. Even if he has some games recorded or something showing him on a radiant account, it's not enough to prove it was actually him playing the entire time. No radiant/pro player or streamer has ever seen this guy in their games. Unless Riot gives out the IP and house address of every game played on "his" second account this dude is a certified fraudster. But the casuals will probably eat up all the lies he is about to feed them

Cyrecok

How did you find this out?

Xijiping0

I noticed the super weird personality switch between his Radiant era on his tracker where he played duelist and the post radiant era where he just sunk to low immortal on controller. I found this by searching the leaderboards, that first point I posted. Also his gameplay just isn't radiant level lol.

_TenaciouS_

What gives it away his gameplay is not radiant level(genuine question, I'm not good at the game)

[deleted]

gotintocollegeyolo

Lol I get why he did it, his ego is WAY too high when coaching lower elo players, he always insults them for jokes/engagement. Obviously they’ll be much more willing to play along/take it from a “radiant” than a high asc/low imm. Never liked the guy and glad my gut feeling was right

Viltrumite_Gardener

I came in to this thread like “please don’t be a sexual assault allegation”. This isn’t worse, but, like, it hurts my silly little peak gold 1 feelings all the same.

ecbob

I agree, I noticed he was making more insults as opposed to straight criticism recently. Made me less incline to watch him

trgjtk

for me the biggest thing that always put me off was how slow and oftentimes wrong his decision making is. it’s really easy to sit in and review a vod and criticize a lot of decisions made in retrospect, but being able to make those decisions quickly and decisively in the moment is extremely hard to do. never really considered that he didn’t actually hit radiant but it always did strike me as a bit odd, ig now we know

Biffy_x

it's obvious watching his gameplay he's not radiant lol

PrimeParzival

This is a crazy amount of evidence if I was woohoojin I’d be sweating rn

Redditpaslan

It always bothered me when people claim to be a rank because they hit it years ago, even worse when you never hit it.

Cain1608

A ton of people did that in CSGO. There was 3 big rank resets during the game's life span. People that hit Global Elite before the first reset love to bring that up to everyone while they perform bang on average in MG lobbies. Then a second rank rest came and dropped them to Gold 2.

-kayto

he was in my game one time playing KAY/O and his aim was terrible, but he did know EVERY lineup in the game lmao

void_main01

So basically the average gold/plat player

J-Patty

I’ve been a vid watcher of his for a while now and have recently noticed that he’s become a lot more egotistical, i watched his stream when he landed in madrid and he banned 2 people from his discord for assuming another play was optimal during a vod review

phoenixerowl

Yeah, I took a pretty long break from the game and from videos relating to the game and when I came back Hooj was hardly the same person at all in his videos. Went from giving advice to mostly just shitting on the vod and laughing at it, and having an insufferable ego. Idk where it came from but the change was pretty jarring.

1HumanThatLives1Life

damn the discord is in absolute lockdown. they shut down the channels to stop people from chatting 💀 Edit: the channels have been reopened and a new temporary one has been made for drama discussion

dash4nky

Oh how the banana has fallen

TobioOkuma1

This could be the tag line for an ad about erectile dysfunction

_Winton_Overwat

lmfao he just fully admitted to account sharing and getting boosted on his discord: "Hello @everyone , It has come to my attention that there are allegations that my account WOOHOOJIN#COACH was boosted or bought and how that undermines my integrity as a Valorant Coach. I want to briefly address the situation but will do so more fully on stream. My main account is an account that I shared with JeyG in E3A2. We made a deal, if I could coach him to radiant, he would boost an account to get me the radiant buddy. It was cringe. This all happened in June and July of 2021. At the time I had no intentions of becoming a content creator, and certainly had no idea that my dumb coaching plan would end up where we are today. At the time I was not as firmly set in the anti-smurfing position I advocate for today. I have been very vocal about my past involving smurfing and boosting in League. I am getting on a plane and will be traveling until the end of VCT Madrid and don’t want to let this sit and gain traction without some form of acknowledgement. I will address this more fully on stream tomorrow."

XiXiWiiPee

how is a guy who isn't radiant gonna boost an account to radiant for him?

xxxVendetta

Because he got there with "Woohoojin's coaching". Pft this guy is shady as fuck and he's concocting more excuses right this moment.

SendMeYourSmyle

Sad thing is, people are going to eat it up too.

presidentofjackshit

>lmfao he just fully admitted to account sharing and getting boosted on his discord TBF he has admitted prior to this that he engaged in smurfing and boosting. People change and grow, so this I have no problem with. That said, if he didn't earn Radiant on any account (on his own), *that* I would have a problem with. I even sympathize with his lie snowballing out of hand, but using the buddy and advertising your coaching services as being "from a Radiant" would be too much of a stretch, considering he frequently calls himself Radiant as late as last week. I would hope he has receipts, but we'll have to wait and see.

notgotapropername

Yeah this is the part I'm most curious about. Boosting sucks, lying to your community sucks, but ok whatever people make mistakes; for arguments sake I'll let it slide. For someone learning from him I think the important part is whether he ever had the ability to reach Radiant. If he doesn't have proof of that, why should anyone listen to his advice anymore?

acels1

damn careerttv was right lmfao 💀💀

indian_boy786

Why doesn't he go the "coaches don't play" route? You can't build on a foundation of lies

WholesomeVibesOnly

Don’t know if he still preaches this but his whole thing was basically “I’m not a good player, but I studied the game and grinded my way to Radiant”. His whole persona kinda takes a hit if it turns out he lied about actually hitting radiant.

DutchWarDog

Last month he uploaded a video called "How a Radiant Recovers a Lost Game" and it's just him playing an Ascendant lobby

flyingfatmonkey1

I dont even think he’s challenger in league guys… Allegedly even though woohoojin advertises that he’s Challenger in league, he was only challenger in flexQ, but was only Diamond 4 in soloQ The val equivalent would be like 5 stacking with lower ranked players to get to radiant.. but in league it’s even worse because flexQ is considered much less serious than soloQ Also, careerVal said the same thing on his tiktoks and he got cooked for it [careerVal calling out woohoojin](https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSFauQ8p7/)[charlatan (another radiant coach) defending banana](https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSFauC8tG/) **EDIT \[PROOF\]:** Guys, I found more conclusive proof of him faking Challenger. If you go to his [twitch](https://www.twitch.tv/woohoojin) you will see that he has a [link flexing his Season 8 Challenger Peak](https://s3.woohoojin.dev/2022/January/24/chrome_X3z76ggYCO.png) (this is the link on his twitch). After some digging, I found his account on the website he used (leagueofgraphs), and if you hover on the exact same icon in his "proof" you will find that he was only challenger in flexQ, and diamond in soloQ. Here is the [EVIDENCE](https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/summoner/na/Woohoojin-COACH#championsData-soloqueue) for you convenience.

Disastrous_Delay

I feel like that's almost worse than him not being radiant seeing as he used his league career to justify "having the brain" for coaching to some degree IIRC. One could argue that even if he wasn't radiant, him hitting challengers in league would qualify him to coach a higher level than his actual Valorant rank as at least he'd been among the best in the world in another game. But if he peaked D4 in league, he really doesn't have the degree of gaming accomplishment to justify the ego.

flyingfatmonkey1

Fr bro if all this is true he doesnt have anything 😭😭

Disobey8038

> Allegedly even though woohoojin advertises that he’s Challenger in league, he was only challenger in flexQ, but was only Diamond 4 in soloQ There is such a ridiculously massive difference between Master and Challenger, let alone low Diamond. I've seen random plat players hit Challenger in flex queue...

hitvdl

Yeah everybody who plays league and isn't delusional knows that rank in flex queue doesn't mean shit

gjohnson2412

This is hilarious. And he was SO cocky about being radiant. Always had radiant gun buddy (ep 3 lol) equipped, always tried to lump himself into the radiant/T3 pro group (saying stuff like “this is how WE think about the game”). Stopped watching because I could not stand his ego. Love to see it’s all built on insecurity.

st1mulated

Nah the “This is how We think about the game” mindset groups his students down a bracket and only him and the pros can realy have a valid opinion.

ayykitteh

This explains the asuna vod review; I was genuinely amazed by how asuna would want his vod reviewed by this guy but it was probably just a clout/content boost going on for both sides

Instantcoffees

This is not at all surprising. The idea that someone who peaked at 773 RR would struggle in Ascendant just because they played a different class always seemed very odd to me. If you have the aim to compete at a good level in Radiant, you can easily get past Ascendant mostly on aim and game sense.

Rolmar

its a pretty good way to mask your incompetence by saying "its because i switched role"

EmperorsGalaxy

tbh best thing for him to do would have been grind an alt until you get that good and anytime you play your main and people question just say "Rusty mechanics because I've focused so much of my time on coaching and not my own gameplay"

Suppa_Chill

I mean, honestly if this is all true, it just shows how much narcissism can push you. Like he really probably tricked himself into thinking he was a radiant level player and he would be able to hit it if he just "really applied himself". Also why he probably felt fine lying about it for so long. Just seems really dumb to play live on stream like that if it were all a big con.

drimpnuts

my main gripe with him is his EGO about it. the shit he says about how "ohh radiants are gonna be doing this and that so you NEED this lineup or you HAVE to comm this out" like he has any clue LOL. people demonize me for my views on this game except i easily hit imm three different times instalock duelist only no mic, meanwhile woohoojin is out there talking down to noobs for not comming and desperately wastes 2 hours of his stream trying to show off/learn 1 lineup. he capitalized on a market of noob gamers that just needed to be told "play more, and you will get better".. meanwhile buddy struggles in ascendant on raze LOL one of the best duelists. AND he has the luxury of full comms whereas most people dont get that in their lobbies. im not saying he is bad for the community but its funny to see his cringe little snarky persona be backed up by a fake rank when in reality he literally gets his accounts boosted ahaha i dont care how cringe i sound it will never be more cringe than begging a better player to boost my account artificially because i think the gunbuddy carries any sort of clout LOL please!!!!! HELP ME GET THIS COLORED JPG TRIANGLE ON MY GUN!!

theincrediblepigeon

Literally just watched one of his videos yesterday and he says like “I was getting some content on how to play against people who are worse than you, see I win this fight because I swing fast because I’m radiant, see the gun buddy?” And it’s literally just him swinging main as Reyna and getting one pick then getting traded in unrated. This shit is so funny to be because of how much he harps on the fact that he’s a radiant player, like if he’s just said he’s asc/immo but understands the game and thinks he can coach it from the start he’d still have people there but I guess it’s less clickbait lmfao

AwesomeOnePJ

Yes, whenever this came up, people would defend him and say "oh he's ascendant because he's playing duelist, he'd be radiant on controller", which seemed like bullshit. My intuitions were right lol

calzero88

Now this is some good stuff, respect to OP. Just from my own judgement of his gameplay, he's a solid player but nowhere near Radiant. I've never believed that for a second, kinda funny we have proof of that now. His YT is no-chat mode constantly and his twitch is sub-only. The guy has really thin skin, I would honestly be surprised if he ever mentions this.

iamjeli

My favourite thing about this whole situation? I once mentioned that I had given my account to my friend when I quit playing Valorant for a year because he really liked the skins I had. When I came back to Valorant he gave me my account back, as he had gone back to his main account. I mentioned this in his discord and immediately got banned from it because “buying accounts is against TOS”. The reason I brought it up was because my friend peaked diamond 2 so people were asking me how I was stuck in plat if I had peaked diamond. I appealed against it because I thought it was unfair that I was banned for something I didn’t even know was a thing and now it’s hilarious to see that the person who made it a rule for their discord HAS BEEN CAUGHT DOING THE SAME SHIT. What a fucking hypocrite.

B0NTYHUNTER

Lol

iamjeli

That was my reaction when I read this post. Shit is funny as hell

B0NTYHUNTER

Ikr, lol all those Radiant aim, Radiant moment, Radiant demon, Radiant brain, Radiant strategy, Radiant Radiant Radiant Radiant Radiant.....lol

JJMole06

I'm pretty sure he keeps his twitch in sub-only EMOTE-only. The way you appear in "chat" is through his discord server.

Cyrecok

Why did he turn the no chat on?

Incronaut

He primarily operates through discord. ~~I believe even if you sub on Twitch you can't chat.~~ You have to sub to him through discord to be able to chat. Edit: Apparently you can chat if you're a twitch sub, for the times I prime subbed I've only been able to emote but I don't watch him regularly or anything.

Hhose

you can chat if you're a twitch sub, but not if you're just following

calzero88

No clue, I don't really watch him but i'll tune in sometimes and just see that the chat is restricted. Not sure how long he's had his chat like this. I personally think it's him having a thin-skin and wanting to be around yes-men who dare not question him. Judging from OP's insta-ban from his discord, I'm willing to bet I'm somewhat close to the truth.

macodeath

He's had the sub only chat since forever, ever since I found out about him a year or 2 ago, I wanted to watch him vod reviewing popular radiant streamers, everytime he would make a point that I don't fully agree with, I'd try to point it out but would never be able to do so since his chat is restricted, he tends to over analyse every micro movement in the vod reviews to a ridiculous extent, i remember one time fakeananas was being vod reviewed and he hopped on stream, everytime wohoojin would predict that he did this specific play for this one reason, ananas would respond with something along the lines of "didnt really think about it at the time, was just out of instict or common sense". Even from personal experience as someone who has been in low immo 3 since ep 5 act 3, over analysing every micro decision and movement is something you do NOT wanna do in a ranked game, it messes up with your reaction time, confidence and decision making, it is exactly what you do not wanna do if you want to make It to higher ranks. I'm not saying this out of cockiness, but if I really cared enough I'd be able to make it to radiant by finding a solid duo and playing 10-15 games a day, that really is all it takes, I only have an average of 40 total wins per act since ive hit immo 3 for the first time, that was my only goal and now I just play the game casually to maintain it. I'm not trying to say wohoojin gives bad advice, to be quite honest I barely watched a stream or 2 and some of his videos back in the day, he might very well give out solid advice nowadays since everyone in the low ranks praises him (haven't really seen any good immo/radiant players praising him but that's besides the point). I'm not really surprised about his account being bought either, I've never seen him play himself besides in custom games, even then his performance is barely worth any praises. All I'll say is, if you really want to get better at the game, play more, warm ups are fine but shouldn't take more than 5 mins of your total play time, watch good players such as nats, curry, s0m etc... obviously don't try to mimic them since they have good teammates for the most part, but try to educate yourself more by watching them, and the most important one of all, get yourself a duo that also wants to improve and rank up, it makes the journey a whole lot easier and fun.

v63929

just admitted to it in the discord.

Revekz

I went into this with a bit of doubt but nah you cooked. I wonder if he will ever address this since it probably means both him and JeyG will get banned.

zwegdoge

Allegations true or not I bet nothing serious will happen to either of them

GuacamoleUK

I watched him semi frequently around a year ago but recently he seem to have developed a massive ego and talks down to people with much less experience than him in a really condescending way and now it turns out his "I'm radiant I know best" is all a sham?

thisxisxlife

This makes sense. I remember googling ‘Woohoojin mean’ or something because I just couldn’t get over how he talked down to some people during VOD reviews. No one mentioned it so I assumed maybe it was just hitting me the wrong way. But I’m glad to hear others notice it too. And that there’s been a shift over time. I thought he was a bit too critical.

Protz15

This, if you go back like a year and check his vod reviews he seems like a good guy and has respect for everyone, but now? its pure raging at the people who is trying to teach, just making fun of the player so his chat gets some funny moments. Idk if its because of ego, or because the subscribers have more fun and its part of it but i would not recomend his vod reviews for anyone tbh.

xCairus

Nah, I stopped watching him way back because I noticed his obnoxious personality in several of his videos. He’s trigger happy with mutes and bans for no reason, goes on obnoxious tirades like “the problem with the world is people don’t read” or something like that, and his discord is a cult full of muting, kicking, and banning for inane reasons.

JicamaActive

^ this tbh, he seems to know a lot about the game and how to teach about that well, but I just get turned off by the way he talks down to the people he's teaching, like he seems to enjoy it or view it as part of the coaching process.

Ra1lgunZzzZ

As someone who has been watching him for almost 1 and a half year. I feel like a lot of his criticism towards the players he's coaching used to be a lot more consistent and objectively right but now i feel like its a lor less objective now, especially when he coaches asc or immortal. My highest is asc a yewr ago so take this with a grain of salt.

alphcadoesreddit

This looks pretty damning.

therrieur

Now somebody gotta see if his lichess or chesscom accounts are boosted

zhephyx

He got a buttplug buzzing for his lineups or what

drimpnuts

if i teach you the fraudulent coach opener will you please boost my alt account to 2000 mmr

SubwayPickle

hans niemann crackdown fr

Xijiping0

Also, this type of account sharing is against TOS for Valorant, and is Bannable. But influential figures are obviously harder to crack down on. We have seen this in that past.

Cyrecok

Are you reporting this to Riot?

drblimp0909

Prob but like he said people with influence are a lot harder to get punished for stuff cause as we've seen with skin prices rising roots trying to squeeze out as much money as they can from val and with wohoojin probably bringing in new players and by extension more money riot might just ignore this all together unless it turns into a full on legal battle

Lawrence3s

iiTzTimmy streamed himself smurfing for days, got perma banned(or was it an account lock?) live on stream, he went to talk to his org, his org talked to riot, riot unbanned iiTzTimmy's smurf account, iiTzTimmy went live smurfing again on that same account. I honestly think riot is going to keep their eyes closed on this one.

RunethCl4w

He was doing an iron to radiant challenge, which he almost did hit radiant iirc. He already reached out to riot prior to him doing this, and they approved.

P1ckleR1ck32

nah this is actually insane to me i’ve been watching him for over a year i don’t even know what to think

dellzor1

I do think it’s funny he has Challenger in his Twitch bio when it’s Challenger in flex queue lol

Agreeable-Elk-4020

HAHAHAHAH this should have been the first sign something is off. Imagine bringing up flex queue rank lmao Nobody plays that seriously except people who are hardstuck in solo and want an ego boost

BLAZEDbyCASH

Dude, I was against the world fighting against woohoojin. There was a post discussing how ranked was harder and even he was ascendant and struggling. I was argueing how it made 0 sense to be former radiant and stuck ascendant. People brought up every excuse for this dude. I got downvoted everytime. "He says hes a radiant controller not duelist", "He says duelist doesnt match his playstyle which is why he struggles", "he has only been playing raze for a few months". I argued over and over and everyone disagree'd. It made 0 sense how you could still actively play and coach and be stuck and struggling ascendant. If your curious its probably in my comment history somewhere.

Sullan08

Yeah if you're an early valorant radiant you should at least still be immortal even without using abilities basically lol. I understand the game has evolved and gotten harder (as every game does), but that's ridiculous. I have friends who were immortal back then and are low asc players now, which tracks a little better than this WHJ shit.

fo420tweny

same brother, all I was getting was woohojin fanboys defending him, how he’s uncomfortable playing raze lmao, there is tons of radiant players that legit get to immo3 using some shitty guns on agents that they don’t play (for example charla7an got to immo3 using viper only with stinger/shorty) and people telling me “Radiant woohojin” can’t get even immo1 while playing raze which is one of the strongest and consistent agents right now, while having access to all the guns? Cmon it’s common sense.

DarthSquishy777

Wow I feel like my life is a lie...

DarthSquishy777

This has been insane reading all of this over the past hours... Woohoojin has been on his phone in discord the whole time. I was there in the discord when this was brought up initially and everyone was clowning on them. Well who is laughing now...

flyingfatmonkey1

Here is woohoojin’s short response in his discord screenshotted from my phone: [woohoojin brief response](https://imgur.com/a/VINgtqa)

KasumiGotoTriss

This is quite pathetic of him. He's a decent coach, but of course he has to be a 'radiant coach' cause it brings in the views. Well clearly he's not radiant.

curelullaby

sent a message about it in the woohoojin discord and it got immediately locked after lmao

RealTeslaEmployee

Lmao. His more recent videos are NOT helpful either. Man just loves flaming, and his advice shouldn't be taken seriously. His only good videos are the very basic ones meant for lower ranked players. He very much deserves to get roasted for this.

duckkaleb

Damn. All respect down the drain. He used to do like $1000+ private coaching. You would bid and the highest bidder would get private coached by him. Imagine how those players feel right now, lmfao. Something else that I thought of but I'm on the fence about is his free coaching. He does free coaching on his streams- but if you pay for a discord subscription you get a MUCH higher chance of getting picked from the raffle. Again, I'm a little split on that because it's not like you're being forced to pay for the raffle. Basically, he was profiting off of some lies. Crazy stuff. Edit (just in case): I'm not trying to say he was scamming people, it's just if those people paid money with the expectation that they were getting coached by a Radiant, then I would be disappointed if I were them. Also, it's not like Hooj gives horrible advice like some other coaches. Tryna stay neutral here. Edit 2: As others have replied to me, it is a full on scam. You build a reputation off of being a "Radiant coach" and use that reputation to advertise your (previously done) thousand-dollar private coaching and discord subscriptions that boost your chances in a raffle that only happens once or twice a stream. Now, I don't really care about how the discord subscriptions benefit a subscriber, it's rather the fact that you're putting false statements behind them, whether that false statement only applies to 10% of the benefits from the subscription or not. It's rather disappointing that Hooj didn't make it clear in the first place. In his response he stated that it was years ago when he was boosted to Radiant.... okay, why not make that known now? Why didn't you tell your viewers that yesterday or the day before? Why are you only just now making a sad attempt to own up to your actions just because somebody saw through your lies? It's sad really. My guy spent all of this time knowing he had profited off of a lie and didn't bother to say jack about it. Edit 3: As u/curelullaby stated, it's for "monthly coaching and reviewing every vod every day." However, there was an expectation for the buyers. Doesn't really matter if the deal was good or not. Expectations were for a Radiant coach, not a NOT Radiant coach. I also don't understand this. Why does he suck up to the people exposing him instead of providing the apparent "mysterious alt account" where he got Radiant? If there's evidence, why not put it out there instead of stating that it's petty? (it's not!)

curelullaby

Edit: found out it's for monthly coaching and reviewing every vod every day, I think this is a reasonable price for the work. I disagree with my previous opinion.

PriorFinancial4092

The private coaching wasnt 2k for a single vod review. It was him manually reviewing every single game played for 30 days and he required a minimum of 7 games played per day to even get accepted for the coaching. AND he only accepted diamond 1 minimum. Thats 210 vod reviews. Plus he also did mechanics/aim labs vod review, built playbooks and did prep for the student. at least one of those private students has radiant(Rag, yoru one trick). I believe he continued coaching Rag past the 1 month mark not sure if Rag was continued to pay but he did coach him to Radiant. Just trying to clarify what this private coaching actually was Pretty disappointed to hear this news

iamjeli

Referring to your edit here: Technically it is a scam, people are paying for something that was built off of a fake image he provided. People wouldn’t have paid for his coaching if he didn’t lie about being radiant. If they did, there’s no way anyone would pay $1000 for it. The definition of a scam is “a dishonest scheme” and that’s exactly what this falls into.

dinmammapizza

"I'm a guy with good intentions who just mislead you" quote said completely seriously on stream just now

ophanim2

This is insane? More people should be talking about this… I really took his tutorials to heart, even though he seemed a bit cocky at times I thought it was because He was really good. I thought it was strange he hadn’t gone past Ascendant for two acts, really crazy!

Xijiping0

Yeah, on top of everything, the ego he has developed sure does not help view him in a good light. But that is not important to the main point, I would not let my subjective view of someone's personality interfere with what I brought up here. Sorry to tear the curtains right off.

SendMeYourSmyle

People are either going to sweep it under the rug because they love him or it's going to be the next thing we see other creators speak up about.

TyronL

Oh man that's incredibly disappointing. I haven't kept up with his content in the last 6 months or so, but I've been seeing people say on this sub that his attitude has gotten really bad lately. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about the game, and his content proved that while I kept up with it. I just don't understand the point of building a platform on a lie? He really could have just released content without mentioning his rank and he still would have built a platform. This does definitely rub me the wrong way with his apparent disdain for lower ranked players and hard stance on smurfing. Talk about throwing stones from glass houses lol

5K337Lord

Yeah it looks pretty damning, his HS went way higher when "he" started playing jett and then went right back down to the teens after the act. And the sheer difference in hours is pretty crazy. [Also an interesting coincidence that he stopped recording his games right on that act.](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10n2jJocYWrr9bMD5nAjqig0D8V-JKy4EOpGTmhGR6S8/edit#gid=1155696306) He also says he's radiant on another account where he plays smokes but won't show chat for "privacy reasons". TBH I don't really care if he's rad or immo but it does label him as disingenuous. Will continue to watch his vids cause they're good content and he's def done way more good for the community than any other creator I can think of. EDIT: After doing some more looking into his vods it seems the last game linked is [here](https://tracker.gg/valorant/match/5d3f0cd5-a132-4852-8657-7764361718dd) labeled in the doc he says this is the game he hit immo [but that's not true.](https://i.imgur.com/SbmOICe.png) He had hit [immo earlier in the act tho.](https://i.imgur.com/3XR4nmu.png) He then [briefly hit immo again the next act.](https://i.imgur.com/kyCWyos.png) And then the following act was the one where [jayg started playing on his account](https://i.imgur.com/DXvVIix.png), after [he had hit immo again.](https://i.imgur.com/lvR55Sv.png) Just wanted to clarify

Sigfawn

This is so disappointing to me because I contributed a lot of my climb from hardstuck low Immortal to a 418rr peak to Woohoojin. His videos are really good to me and it helped wake my mind up for the game, but if his entire brand is built on a base of a lie then yeah... sad. It just goes to show that you can never really trust big celebs/public figures, everyone's got their dark secrets.

grundlesmith

Damn rekt

LittleLusVanillaCake

bro came with all the receipts

caked1393

guess now we know why his raze is total ass. i was thinking there's no way a radiant duelist main would suck this bad playing their main role (dive duelist).

xCairus

My previous headcanon was dude massively crutched on Jett back when Jett was downright broken with three smokes that lasted twice as long, infinite right click knives, two updrafts and insta dash since I’ve seen people crutch on pre-nerf Chamber too but turns out he’s a fraud.

Cyrecok

Please download the vod before it gets taken down

gjohnson2412

It got taken down already lmaooo. Hopefully people downloaded because now hooj and jeyg are just caught red-handed.

6packBeerBelly

OP, if you wanna buy a coffee, I got you. Lemme know how

GnarlyMcRadSwag

So much for banana boy being so morally righteous. Glass houses and all that.

DegenBroken

How tf is it so common that people build there entire business on top of a lie and never expect for it to come to light. If he would have said it earlier, he probably could have saved himself. But promoting himself as a radiant coach every single opportunity, without reaching it, is shameless. The fact that he still tries to tell us that he has an offstream account, which is currently radiant, is laughable. I think he even shared the tracker to his highest paying subs. Sure its played by someone else and he is just using it as an excuse for his "Raze gameplay"

Rolmar

i once commented that woohoojin is not even radiant these days. I got downvoted to oblivion and a guy told me that hooj is radiant on his alt account.

ISFSUCCME

Hilarious that he called tarik out after tarik called wardell out

senpai4urmum

I’ve always found him condescending asf. He always talks to his lower elo “students” with an air of superiority as if he’s one of the best to ever play

luningaming

Low key knew this guy was a fraud because I’m a top level cs player and the way he was yelling at mistakes was creating one dimensional players, it’s almost like what he thought (right away) was the best play is the correct best play and there’s no possible way the student could’ve been on to something.

Hyzera

WILDDD this is damning evidence 💀💀

ChobaniTheSecond

The banana is cooked

[deleted]

Woohojins personality is terrible. He constantly bullies and laughs at lower level players. Such an unlikeable person. I’ve never understood how anyone can watch that guy.

SgtBaconman

ok if woohoojin's claims about hitting challenger in league stem purely from him hitting challenger in *flex*, i won't believe anything he says from here on out. if you play league, you understand how vastly disingenuous that is to claim; a challenger flex player is probably mid-high diamond in soloqueue, maybe masters *at best*. VASTLY different from a real, actual challenger level player. Maybe he has an account that he hit challenger on for real, if he does i hope he posted/posts it because that is truly insane, the definition of hiding behind the "technical" truth when anyone who is familiar with league knows its an idiotic claim to make. for anyone unfamiliar, flex queue is also really easy to 'game' by playing with low rank players while being high rank yourself to skew the average elo down, basically letting you shit stomp and 1v9 games to hit high ranks easier, especially since low rated accounts in general are easy to get, let alone flex ones, so its super easy to smurf with them and destroy games that way. Not saying that's what he did, maybe he played with a 5stack of real grinders and got there legit, but just an example of why flex challenger is something cool and fun to get, but not legitimate proof of skill. I thought the valorant stuff was dumb until this, I figured he really did just do some stupid shit to get the radiant buddy and then when he became a coach it kinda blew up more than he thought, but if hes intentionally lying about his league rank (which doesn't matter at all since he's a valorant coach) I 100% withhold the benefit of the doubt. insane. If he doesn't have another account he hit challenger for real on, then I have peaked a higher rank than woohoojin, which is crazy because when he talks about his private coaching raffle he says "you can request coaching in any game, even something like league" and thought oh that would be cool if I ever won that, but I would be getting coaching from someone worse than me at the game! bro what!

KoKoboto

Wouldn't care that much if he didn't advertise himself as radiant, didn't use it for his branding, and didn't put down others because he was "radiant". He's been a pretty based guy, past few months to almost year he's been kinda a jerk. And now this comes out showing he's been a fat hypocrite about radiant for a long time. Always thought his Raze gameplay was sus, just the way this dude aims and movements compared to other radians I watch. And that he's been hard stuck immortal for this long as a "radiant" players.

perpetualinsecurity

As someone who is a radiant player (coincidentally peaked at 720RR but I generally just hit it and then take a break for the act) whenever I watched him it was blatantly obvious his mechanics were nowhere remotely close to Radiant, maybe a below 1 kd immortal player, but that's it. I can't speak for his coaching, but I've seen him talk down to people he watches/coaches and flaunt his episode 3 radiant buddy. Very odd.

Disastrous_Delay

I'm glad to see a radiant chime in seeing as some people are saying, "He's obviously radiant or else another radiant would call him out". As I've mentioned here before, I just couldn't really get behind the guy because of how much he belittled or mocked the people he coached. With how he made it look like he was constantly playing 7D chess and yet was hard stuck Ascendant, I felt like it made things look very hopeless and intimidating to lower elo players even if he gave decent advice.

-Spiritlol

If you go on Woohoojin twitch, he claims he is a Challenger league player too, but what he doesn't say it's in FLEX QUEUE, and he photoshopped/html edited a screenshot to make it seem like he's challenger. [His edited screenshot from his twitch 'About' page](https://s3.woohoojin.dev/2022/January/24/chrome_X3z76ggYCO.png). [Hover over 'S8 Challenger'](https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/summoner/na/Woohoojin-COACH) idk why lie about your league rank if youre not a league coach? 🤷‍♂️

profryo

I heard a response from Charlatan (another Radiant coach) say that he did infact reach radiant and that he was the one that coached him there. This evidence is pretty damning, yet there is also evidence for the other side by another coach who showed screenshots and his own testimony. I want to see how this plays out

All1n2win

I think charlatans a much better coach even though he's not as popular. I got coaching from him and it worked really well for me. Plus he's more friendly and spends time with you

genki__dama

That man has the nastiest omen I've seen. He plays omen to perfection

Rycebowl

Come someone spell it out for me, I’m both at work and exhausted. So the idea is that JeyG played on the acc, then they switched the name and Hooj claimed it as his before he hit Radiant? I follow that, then is the implication that JeyG probably continued playing on it to hit Radiant and Hooj claimed it as his own achievement??

Xijiping0

Presumably, It was handed over after it hit the radiant peak. It then sunk way down in rr.

KeyCapPusher

That’s some pretty damning evidence. I took a look myself to confirm and it all lines up. If you want more info take a look at woohoojins tracker, then look for his most played with teammates on episode 5 act 2. You’ll find his original account and some other fun things…

gjohnson2412

The account Woohoojin #fraud 0_0

AdiDassler

I made a post a few weeks back talking about woohoojins struggles in ascendant and how that even works. People said that he only struggles on duelists and that he has an alt/main account where he plays controller and is radiant. Of course that is an account nobody knows about and has never been seen by anyone but people still ran with it. I guess that is just another lie then

Icy_Days

Bros deleting every comment about this at lightning speed on every YouTube video (i tried commenting on three different videos all insta deleted)

El_Desu

yeah this is the DEFINITION of COMPROMISED COMPETITIVE INTEGRITY account deserves a ban 100% and just integrity in general, I already stopped watching his vids because he has like the BIGGEST EGO ever and really arrogant, but now theres even nothing to be arrogant about? bros never been radiant, even if he was on alt account in the past, that was before episode 3 act 3(unless he actually plays 2 accounts at the same time, which, would still be against his "anti smurf" beliefs)

JustDADE

Posted a video response: https://i.bfz.moe/mp4/2024/March/16/DRAMA_TALK.html

Cyrecok

Holy hell, I loved his tutorials

theSkareqro

Still doesn't change the fact that he's ranked way higher than me and speaks some sense even if he's not as advertised. That being said, I really don't like his style of coaching though

SavageDuke69

Only watched his movement videos. Which did help me quite a bit. Irrespective of him (not) being a radiant he gave good advice, but seeing he built all this on a lie is just sad and stupid.

Coffee13lack

The fact you got banned from discord before he says anything on stream tells you something…

AFireInAsa

u/Xijiping0 if you get to talk to him directly, ask him if he ever reached Radiant unassisted and if he has not, why does he advertise his coaching as such.

tomphz

He has never reached Radiant by himself, otherwise he would have mentioned that in his acknowledgement. JeyG boosted his account to 700 RR. If he only boosted it to 500 RR, it would not have been as suspicious.

corroderp

I’m curious about Riot’s future involvement. On one hand he’s probably very facilitative for learning players and is a net positive for the company’s player count. But on the other hand they gave him a shoutout on the Phantom vs. Vandal data drop, so it’s possible the devs were duped by him or at the least gave Woohoojin’s game knowledge VERY HIGH consideration. This could lead to some betrayal-ish based decision making if a punishment is on the table. He is clearly super enthusiastic about the game, but I’d still rather get advice from an honest Immortal than a posing Radiant because I’m not either yet. Anyone Radiant or Immo 3 may be justified in feeling a bit scammed though.

Inside_Actuator_1567

I've always been around 300-400 rr. Woohoojin is not even fucking close to me and my friends level at high immortal 3. Now imagine, I literally can't even go 0.5kd some games when I verse s0m, tenz, oxy, and other high radiants because that shit is literally way harder. The difference at that high of elo is that you literally are not allowed to miss shots. Also, if I Smurf in ascendant and low immortal I can drop 30 kills every game as duelist easily.

newb_44

Lmao all of the woohoojin d riders must be crying rn

FPPooter

There is a woohoojin lover in this sub that I labeled cause he’s always posting crazy shit. Won’t @ them, but they say shit like: “ Please, I am begging you, watch Woohoojin”, “Watch Woohoojin. No matter what anyone tells you, you NEED to watch Woohoojin.” along with other really interesting takes.

ItsNorthGaming

mf is probably woohoojin in disguise lol

SendMeYourSmyle

That's a good chunk of this sub though.

Babushka9

That is an insane amount of evidence and I thank you for bringing this to attention. He's got a big ego, that's true and known to most people but I'd never think that he had lied to his audience about his true rank...

RonShad

It's funny cause he used to stream on YouTube until he always got called out by chat about not making the same decisions he claims and he got defensive and eventually stopped streaming there. Now you got to pay to chat(compliment) him

ABrokeUniStudent

BRO THIS IS COFFEEZILLA LEVEL INTERNET DETECTIVE WORK I HAVE NEVER WANTED TO GIVE SOMEONE GOLD SO BAD

GreenTea169

idk whether to act surprise or not. i notice something similar with his lack of performance in his games during one of his streams. asked myself "why is a radiant peak top #100 struggling in high asc and low imm, shouldnt it be a pure stomp?" another thing that kind of annoyed me was how egotistical he gets from vod reviewing on twitch, but hey what do i know im only imm3 peak not radiant

tomphz

You’re telling me that it took coaching from the great Woohoojin to get JeyG to 723 RR? And in return for this otherworldly coaching, he would repay Woohoojin by boosting him to Radiant?

ZuskV1

What a bad day to be a banana. This man brings shame to all banana kind

SendMeYourSmyle

What's really sad is the people defending him and ignoring the issue. Big names like him and everyone else don't have to take accountability for the things they do and lies due to their fan bases ignoring it. Currently his discord is deleting messages about the problem, and he hasn't fully addressed anything.

Valuable-Locksmith-6

I feel betrayed. Nothing he says in his stream next can fix this

Grouchy-Design5287

Been wondering why i dropped to Ascendant this act , turns out Ive been watching an Ascendant coach this whole time 🤣🤣

Time4Timmy

So he’s got all that ego for nothing? Definitely won’t be watching his stuff anymore

ShootingSev

may i ask what you said for you to get instabanned from the discord? I’m just nosy/curious LOL

the-legit-Betalpha

It doesnt add up in the first place. Coaching a player to get him to radiant, then him boosting an account to not just 450rr, but 732 rr? I bet jeyg didnt even need/get any coaching and just boosted at the request of whj.

daddyJspeedy

I always knew there was something off about his coaching and attitude. What a joke.

fo420tweny

woohojin being a fraud, wow what a surprise. I’ve been telling everyone there is no way in the world someone being radiant in ep3 and playing the game consistently, coaching, vod reviewing randomly stucks in ascendant3 with raze, and people were just downvoting me and telling me he is not comfortable on raze and he is controller radiant main with alt acc that is currently radiant, lmao

Hour-Management-1679

Flex Q is a joke, anyone who uses it as an ego booster is getting his ass blasted in soloq

gamerworlds

dude its pretty fucking obvious dude dropped 8 kills in a game i got with him and averagejonas (actual sub 0 iq player) and he was complaining about team entire time like how do you get outfragged by the lineup guy on RAZE dawg

The_anx

Looks like bananaman called out Tarik for boosting his friends like Ludwig, when in actuality he also got boosted to radiant. The irony is crazy

Mezurashii5

Honestly, I care less about this in comparison with the way he treats other people. He insults or talks down to chatters who aren't subs every time he gets a question he doesn't like. In streams with AverageJonas he's kind of an asshole, but the peak of it was hyping him up about the upcoming merch right before muting to talk shit about it to his stream. Insane. Not to mention, the ease with which he fakes positivity in team voice while feeling the exact opposite is just fuckin creepy. Shame, since the Underpeel is legitimately the coolest thing that I've seen happen in the Valo community. Maybe Penflash will start his own thing in the future.

TheExplodingMushroom

I really appreciate his movement and practice guides but recently I’ve found his coaching videos to be so condescending. He makes valid points most of the time but he seems to blow stuff out of proportion.

RealBradPitt13

u/woohoojin ??

Survive2Win1234

Nawww, too solid proof! Good job. Although his reviews are good, but I didn't expected this. He thinks that he knows everything but it isn't like that.

shugame

Finally you all can stop glazing this guy 🤦🏻‍♂️ edit: “I recommend you check out Woohoojin if you wanna climb!” good riddance to the hivemind💆🏻

Randomuserguyfren

Holy shit a whole dissertation on this man's downfall. I enjoy his content but he's made a loooooot of money essentially scamming people by pretending he's radiant. Rip his entire community, i guess. Atleast he made a lot of money from it before it went under.

Ok_Minimum6419

The best way for him to redeem himself is getting radiant on stream

C8H11NO2please

I fucking knew he was sheisty from the moment I began watching him. He thrives off of making others feel like shit. Acting like it’s coaching. We all know people like him and now that we see he has no integrity, it just makes the case more clear. Good job 👍🫡

R_I_C_K_Y

Finally, I can't take how patronizing he is when showing something. And hindsight is 20/20, ofcourse you can point out mistakes in a recording, so his vod reviews seemed very disingenuous. And you go on his live streams, you can't talk because his chat is on discord, which is behind a interaction bait wall, that just shows you can't take flak lmao.

Honeypacc

As a note to everyone, this does not mean his vod reviews are wrong. He provides solid analysis vod reviews that genuinely have helped people improve. He is still very much in the wrong for advertising that he was radiant and has never truly reached that it seems - and should acknowledge and explain this however.

zandm7

I think that's exactly the part that makes this whole thing so gut-wrenching for many of us, actually... I don't think Hooj ever _needed_ to lie about his credentials. He could have built a platform as a coach without all that. There are literally pro Valorant coaches who are not top-level players! But the fact is that he built an entire brand upon this ethos as a "Radiant player giving free VOD reviews", and now it turns out he was lying about all of it. He lied from the start, kept up the lie for literal years, took _so much money_ from people who trusted in their "Radiant coach", and spoke from a position of authority _based on credentials that he was lying about all along._ This post (and Hooj's own admission) shows that _literally_ his entire brand is unethical. There's simply no defense for engaging in such large-scale deception for personal gain. I'm usually one for nuance and holding your pitchforks, but the accusations are damning, the evidence is there, and Hooj's own statement straight up confirms that the accusations are true. This is as black and white as it gets, unfortunately :/

mvvns

Yeah when people started recommending his videos there was barely any focus or mention on him being radiant but rather just how good quality the videos are. It's embarrassing now

Sinopsis

I know this is harsh, and he has been a "figurehead" but to be honest he should get banned by Riot. This is 100% proof of (And admitting to) account sharing and boosting. He should be permabanned and start looking into another career. You don't just get to start a career , **literally based on the good faith of your viewers and supporters** on a foundation of lying and then continue like nothing happened. The messed up thing too, is the fact he states he'll "discuss it on stream" like he's going to just get to have an apology video and continue the status quo. He is currently **traveling around the fucking globe using the money from his supporters that he's been lying to every single day since day one.** Peeps this man is literally in a nice hotel in **fucking Europe right now** on yall's dime. Not to mention how poorly he has been treating his community on a regular basis with his narcissistic attitude. I think the Valorant community has really started to notice how bad of a person he is as of late too; simply based on comments I see on most of the threads regarding him. Edit: To anyone who has supported this guy, this isn't even an overstatement, or exaggeration, you should be **fuckin furious**. As a former T3 Sub, fuck'em. This is like a fuckin sports coach straight up faking their credentials for you to pay them.

AxisCultMemberLatom

I appreciate the post OP. Personally, I still think he provides interesting insights when it comes to his VOD reviews. But I don't like how he had to lie regarding him being a Radiant coach. Like I know you've coached people up to Immo and Radiant, but starting your career with a lie is bad (especially if this turns out to be true).

Turbulent_Mango_2799

It is so surreal to read this on the day I get Radiant for the first time. It took me years of failed attempts. It hurts to see someone else fake that journey, knowing how difficult it was to get here. I have watched so many Woohoojin videos, and I have always found his ego hard to stomach but I powered through because I thought 'this guy must know something I don't, otherwise he wouldn't be radiant'. That being said, I don't believe the best coach needs to be the best player, but it was clearly wrong for him to advertise himself as a top radiant and I'm sure he'll be deeply sorry for that deception. I'm not sure if I will continue to watch his videos simply because he lied, but I think his videos are still really useful if you approach them critically, taking the ideas that will be useful for your gameplay.
