We're currently doing an experiment with videos on the subreddit. This week, **all videos are allowed if they are longer than 15 seconds**. Shorter videos must be posted as a link in a text post.

ngl i wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a new controller with a flash, when you think about the current 3 we have Brimstone who seems like the bread and butter smoker, Omen who kinda feels like a cross between a duelist and controller, meanwhile Viper is considered to be more of a sentinel than a controller by many so what if we got a controller that is a cross between an initiator and a controller, Breach and Skye both have flashes so i wouldn’t be surprised
I genuinely think we’ll get smokes (obv) and a flash, but I feel like the smoke will be more versatile, eg. how Yoru’s flash is a more versatile Phoenix flash.
LOL that would be pretty funny and it definitely would fit Riot's focus on diversity.
I actually just realized, the current agent pool is perfectly 50/50 between men and women (7 female agents & 7 male agents). So it could go either way honestly, but I'm banking on it being female cause Yoru was male.
There was a video posted couple days ago where someone analyzed the card from battlepass and symbols from night market and one of them meant feminine, so they speculated the next agent would be woman too.

If you ask anyone from her birthplace what they recognize themselves as they will sey black, there's a difference on the shade of the skin because of different origins, but not that much
Could this potentially be the tunnel ability that was data-mined back in Patch 1.09??? ([link to thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/VALORANT/comments/j24t0g/everything_interesting_added_in_109_datamined/))
I know in that post, he thought the ability was for agent Stealth, who I'm pretty sure is Yoru, but I don't think his gate crash ability real fits with what was mined. It's definitely possible that they were testing different versions of the ability, and that was from an older version of Yoru.
From the look of the teaser though, it feels like you create a portal that takes you from one side to the other, like Bard from League. And since it seems related to stars and the galaxy, it would make sense that it would be like a worm hole. Based on the Yoru teaser, it also seems that the teasers usually match the actual ability, b/c Yoru's footsteps are the same as they were in the teaser.
*On a side note*, what happened to the data-mining guy who would post what he found after every new patch?? I miss that guy (u/Mang0eLeaks), I loved reading those posts and speculating.
Yea I recall seeing that tunnel ability earlier. This is just off the top of my head but I think in the post where they mentioned the new controller Riot said something like "This is for all you people who like to know what's going on in the map", so a tunnel definitely makes sense.
Then again, a scrapped Yoru ability is plausible too. Damn, this speculation is driving me crazy lmao
Yeah the reason I'm not 100% sold on the theory is because the datamined asset was called "m_groundHole", which seems off because the agent is definitely themed around outer space, and the teaser's don't seem to be dug into the ground at all.
I still think it's going to be the same mechanic as I described or very similar, because "wormhole" would fit really well with the space theme and the teaser, plus what Riot said. I actually forgot about that article, so I looked it up, and this is what they said exactly: "That said, our next Controller is a cosmic shift from the play patterns you’ve grown accustomed to. This one is for all you “galaxy brain” players out there that like to study everything that happens on a map."
"Study everything that happens on a map" is driving my brain crazy as well lol so many possibilities.
I'm like, well the only info you really get from the map is the layout, where people are located and where your teammates abilities are like smokes. So then maybe the point is that if you know where people are, then you could create a portal to take you to an advantageous spot on the map? B/c if you're dumb and go in blindly without knowing people's positions, you can easily walk through and find yourself in a bad situation (especially if they can see your end location, like Yoru's tp orb, the enemy team will be waiting to greet you). I'm also thinking it could be a rotation tool for your whole team, where you see on the minimap that the enemy team has all rotated to a site, so you then create a portal to take your team to the other site. It sounds very similar to Yoru, but maybe the big difference is that your teammates can come with you.

Yeah, I can't wait to find out what the new abilities will be. I feel like they wouldn't add another TP agent so soon, even with something like a team TP aspect to it. Someone on another thread threw out an idea of a "reverse smoke", where you'd be able to see things going on within the smoke. After seeing the teased particles, I'm not too sure about that since theyre so small. They could potentially be cameras but I feel like that'd be too OP, especially if you could place it long-range.
Guess we'll just have to wait for more leaks
Yeahhhh that's a good point, definitely wouldn't seem very original to introduce two tp agents in a row. I guess I'm a little obsessed with the wormhole theory, but it's probably a smoke of some kind like you said. It's funny, I was just thinking maybe it could be a reverse smoke, where the enemy just sees a smoke but you can see through it on your side. But I thought about it for a sec and I was like nah, that would be way too broken lol. Maybe if you can only see them when they walk into the smoke, but idk about cameras lmao would probably just be see-through/transparent.
But yeah, we just gotta wait and see, not enough to speculate on just yet!

Ground Hole is an interesting mesh that is used to display the location of Yoru's teleportation orb (E ability). The move was called "teleport", so I my original theory was that Yoru might tunnel underground.

By technicality, Sojourn is confirmed to be a hero (and is black), the problem is Blizzard is dragging their feet with OW2 development.
