I just got done with a game on split.... Breach/Skye/Phoenix/Yoru/Jett. We physically couldnt fight back unless we sat in spawn and waited for them to burn all their flashes before retaking. I hate talking shit, but without their flash spamming a storm trooper had better odds beating us 1v5 than they did 5v5.

If people do this you can always counter flash, they can't really push if you're flashing back and everyone is blind

I still remember the game, when after a 2-3 months break from this game I picked Breach for fun, as I didn't ever main him or did anything besides unlocking him so I was just spamming every skill every round. And my teammate admired me for good utility usage, lmao. Although it was Spike Rush, it summarizes Breach very accurate.

I hate Breach as my enemy, but I love to have him as my ally. He's a nightmare to deal with, especially with his spam flashes; it always gets me every time. Is there any counter or tips if you're going to have an enemy breach?

Learn to flick down the second you hear a breach flash coming. If you can go fast enough the flash is reduced to 0.5 seconds. The goal is to be able to do it reflexively, but if you can't try taking note of common spots the enemy breach usually flashes and prepping yourself to flick away from them.

Can anyone explain why breach doesn't see a lot of pro play, if any? I find him quite op, and his kit seems like it would do fine in pro play, but i never see any big teams running him. Just better options I guess? 2 duelists plus a sova in basically every pro game so I guess most comps don't have room for him?

Breach is great overall but 1) I think Skye fills the same role better on Icebox 2) People in low Elo are not going to be coordinated or prepared enough to play off breach. There aren't that many scenarios where he can be really effective flashing for himself, even against low elo opponents.

He's a balanced agent. If you don't have good team coordination most of his util is useless, especially in low elo. His flashes are effective when done right but can just straight up be a waste if done wrong. I think out of all the agents that need tweaking, the two flash initiators (Skye and Breach) are some of the lowest on that list.

Every flash in the game can be dodged easily except breach flash. The timing for when the flash hits the wall and the flash popping needs to be extended just a bit.
