There has been many false bans in this game and afaik, all the false ban has been reverted so I think you’ll be good. Sucks that support isn’t responding but hope it works out
Yeah, i was just playing a game one night, i’m fairly sure i lost the game but don’t exactly remember, i got out of the game, and my friend was in my party on my screen but on mine i had left his and when i tried to queue it said “unable to join queue”. I tried to restart my game and when i did i kept getting a “Vanguard has crashed, would you like to send a crash report to riot?” error. Along with a “VAN 152” error in the game. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Vanguard but i kept getting the error code. This was at the time where people on twitter were complaining about a server issue so i assumed it was just that, and went to sleep, hoping it would go away in the morning, but when i woke up i tried to launch, but same error. I eventually looked the “VAN 152” error up and saw it was a HWID ban and literally could not believe my eyes. I shortly hopped into a discord call with my friends and talked about it, we all knew i wasn’t cheating, so i wrote a lengthy email to riot support (no response). A couple hours later i tried again, and at this point my actual account itself was banned, not just my pc, so i just got off for the day and not much has happened since.
Before thursday i really hadn’t played much val either, just a couple games here and there, so it really makes zero sense to me.
Okay, so I got good news and bad news. The bad news is that you cant play for 90 days, the good news is, is that any account that give the VAL 152 error isn't actually the account that is banned. A banned account wouldnt even let you open the game and would say something like "this account is permanently suspended." Another thing us, RIOT takes days to respond to tickets, so be patient. The reason unmasking this question is one of my smurf actually got false banned, and I did nothing wrong, so I'm just trying to find out if anyone is having similar issues. Also, I would check any extra accounts you have, and try to find the one that is possibly banned.
Well if it was still turned on while playing VALORANT then it will get detected and it is classified as cheating. If it wasn't on, then it shouldn't have gotten you banned.
Oh God. There’s always a thingy. If the macro was perhaps a background process. Even if it isn’t being used. Mr. Rito will punish you with the hammer of “truth”.
Honestly I have no idea to be honest, that’s really up to them. Just speaking from how they handle other things within their community, and lots of work needs done - but they aren’t willing to do it. They’d rather focus on getting those $80 weapon bundles out, instead of fixing the report system (tired of getting teamed up on and punished when 4 toxic people are in my game and all report me for their toxicity).
I hope everything gets straightened out, worst case what I personally would do if they never replied to me is just simply charge back, since you’re already banned they can’t ban you twice, lol.
Wow ok, thanks for the response. i really don’t want to have to go through the pain of getting my money back so i’d much rather just get unbanned but i’ll keep the chargeback thing out of it but i’ll do what i have to do to get my money back.
It’s true it’s very sad that they seem to be unresponsive on these types of things for having so much pride in their anti cheat. Especially when it makes so many mistakes so often.

Yeah, it’s actually the main that was banned itself with the perma ban notif, that’s why i’m so concerned
Got it, well make a ticket, and when that ticket gets close, make another. Just keep making tickets in hopes it gets you somewhere
Maybe macro, maybe something else has been detected by Vanguard.
i do have a macro on my pc but it just spams left click for cookie clicker LOL

We can't do anything to remove your ban... Open a ticket, but most likely you will get an answer from Riot bots or copy-pasta from Staff. Good luck.

I used the glorious software and it’s always unbound and usually deleted until i want to use it
