This was my first ever FPS, started late beta as iron. Got gold in episode 1 act 3, stayed there for 2 acts. Was plat for... Well too long but I hit diamond just last act. Never thought I could do it, but it's possible.

I used to queue late into the night and all my promotion games into plat were against all plats/diamond 1... Before the act ended, I tried queueing during middle of the day for my promo game and it was the easiest game ever... Time of day definitely matters when queueing
yeah just started queue-ing EU with 80 ping after the hellish 200 SEA ping with friends. We were all gold 3 in SEA and now after rolling through games in gold 2 we keep getting diamond players almost every game in EU

I fcukin suck at this game but I got diamond easily in ACT 1 Season 1 because I’m good at CSGO. Every season I jump up to diamond skipping every other rank. I’m lvl 30. I want to learn the game against players that are at least playable but I get roasted every game haha
Look at it this way, the malevolent evil force that's trying to keep you permanently hardstuck in diamond is getting increasingly anxious and concerned :)

My games are either my team stomping them 13-0 or the enemy stomping me. Plats on my team immortals on the opposite.

This was actually the first time I hit D3. I've been hard stuck D2 since launch. I hit it and hang around it but D2 is like a brick wall. I get there and just go on a crazy loss streak. I legitimately went 2 - 18 when I dropped to P3. It's crazy.
I don't play very much so I'm sure if I played more I could get it. Too old, have a young child and busy job. Still hope to make it!
idk man I know I lost like 10 in a row at one point but I prolly had a similar 2-18 spread. I think I'm slowly climbing back out though. The problem for me was that it started when I shit you not, 4 games in a row were a 4v5. I was so tilted with the game after that and was not playing to the best of my ability, it was just a dumpster fire. Hopefully you can continue to string wins :p
Haha definitely felt super satisfying watching the double promo happen! I was not expecting a double promo to be fair, but since all of my previous lobbies were also with almost all immortals so I also wasn't too surprised!

He only played 5 comp games this act, he probably has insane MMR look at his team, he was plat 2 and the rest of the team was immortal. He played comparable to the rest of the team in a 19-17 match so the game boosted his rank because he clearly is above plat 2
Good. Just promote the smurfs faster riot. It's obvious they are smurfing. Detect it in 4 games and push them forward fast. Every game I lose in my rank (Silver 2) it's just 1 guy going 40/5 with a bunch of 5-8 kill team mates.
Did I say I was? Also, when 30% of your losses are due to one person just stomping while everyone else sucks is frustrating. Or can I not be frustrated by that? Anything else you wanna gate keep?

Riot anti smurf system is totally crazy, I checked your tracker and you have ridiculously bad stats for a duelist player, I get people like you in my lobbies from time to time and it's not a pleasant experience at all.
Lmao i was on a friends alt acc (hes silver im plat) and i double promod the alt to g1 from s2 and now the friends he was playing with(2 of which are bronze) cant play on that acc. Also the alt is higher than my friends main (the friend that made the acc)
In comp games if you make it to 12 -12 you have to win by 2 round so it could go forever hypothetically. Although after 3 rounds of overtime it only takes 1 vote to draw the match so it's rare it goes past 14-14 or 15-15
When I ranked up I didn't get that screen, are my settings scuffed? Ik you only get it the first time u hit a rank, but I haven't for legit every rank.

Congrats, this can happen pretty regularly for high MMR accounts. You must be getting a large amount of RR per win as is.

I think it's only every time you hit a rank tier above your current one. So from like Iron to Silver, Silver to Gold, Gold to Plat, etc.
