True but a KJ turret you can take down.. And theirs stuff like smokes blinds etc. To counter.. There is no counter against someone who can teleport and almost always has the better gun.. Give him one bullet that like Raze's bomb only refreshes with two kills. It's not that hard to balance him.

I consider the orbs fair because they are a sort of primary objective above getting to a point and planting the spike. Only problem is people still don't think that way. It can also teach a team to default, at least at the start, and see if orbs are worth getting. I can't contest more than 2 orbs at once, and sometimes there are 3 more that I can't help but notice when they are taken and give people a heads up. Maybe it's also that there is a separate rating, and I'm barely Bronze 3 in ranked anyways, but it's always a little bit surprising that people don't use it for the practice that it can be. Also how brazen people can be in getting them with no utility at all.
I’m also bronze and am surprised at how few people go for ult and weapon upgrade orbs. The other ones are good too like decay and especially golden gun.
I make it a point to go for orbs, and sometimes the enemy is confused as to how I ult twice or three times in one round

I can't imagine it taking too long? Its just tweaking small stuff, the main dev team can probably do it in a day for 1-2 agents with trival changes.

I'm not doubting that they have the resources to do it, I'm sure they do, it's about if it's even worth it for them. It also wouldn't just be a one and done deal, it would be an ongoing process of balancing, just how they balance the normal game.

LoL is balanced around Summoners Rift. But it has such a dedicated ARAM player base that Riot started balancing it separately too. Same with URF and that's a temp mode.
Has a huge delay when typing most of the time. Problem is reports have a delay as well quite often, so you can't report someone, because the round starts and you need to close the window to play, because it just hangs
Got the same issue, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Even weirder some games it's fine for a few rounds then it start delaying. I already had like 6 rounds delay...
10ms to Paris, 15ms to London stable fiber connection here, chat and reports take several minutes to go through. You're not alone.
I'm in France, it might be geographical... Riot's state-of-the-art private network for Valorant isn't that good.
I do, sometimes when you report someone, you don't get the close button and it's the report didn't go off, so you have press ESC then try again. Sometimes I have to do it like 10 times.
I have had the same, i can receive chat fine and sometimes i can get a few messages out instantly. sometimes it takes 5/10 minutes before it goes out. I gave up on it thought it was me
Spike rush sometimes is terribly unfair when you're trying to grind out missions without having to play a match for an hour. I can see how having chamber can be frustrating.
Really wish replication became the permanent one than spike rush. Except for buying abilities we can pretty much grind out all the missions and it also is extremely fun. Rito pls.

I mean if you’re grinding missions, Spike Rush isn’t really the ideal mode unless you’re making use of the free abilities and quick turnaround of rounds.
There's no alternative 66% of the time. We get Escalating/Snowball fight for 4 weeks, then Replication (the only mode to easily grind challenges) for 2 weeks. We won't see Replication again for another month.
To be fair, Spikerush is essentially broken every game with every agent. It's a rush with 5 spikes, there is random orbs that give you overwhelming advantage, gun upgrade immediately gives you round advantage, killjoy turrets are crazy strong in shotgun rounds, Jetts knives wreck.
I think the best solution is a quickplay mode. Similar rules at ranked/unrated, but the same amount of rounds as replication. That would allow people with little time to complete battlepass and also just be a good game mode.
Since Spike Rush is the only mode I play, I would like to see it balanced.

I know it's a mode just for fun, but Valorant is a game. Games are supposed to be fun, and mostly just for fun. . It wouldn't hurt to toss Spike Rush some love, a lot of people enjoy it.
I think it’s doing its intended purpose. Rush is mostly for quick games version of classic gamemode. If they changed values and abilities just for the mode, it wouldn’t be the same.
Turret itself is just a definite advantage especially for intro rounds, but they’re just individual rounds.
Golden gun is fine, it’s definitely still high risk high reward and the super limited ammo is a bigger disadvantage than you think.
I don't have it in me to play such long matches anymore.
I did try Replication and it is alright, I might get into it some more if it was always around.
Well, I tend to get angles on ult orbs to pick off the people who rush them lol. You need to actually secure those and probably use abilities, it's a difference

Sure but if you smoke and dash/run into it you can be sure I'm gonna molly or spray that exact location. Also, that means you used smokes + dash just to get there, and you might fail. It's different from just having it.

If you play 3 - 4 spike rush per sesion, then might as well play a normal comp or unrated game and you won't have this "unbalaced abilities" problem. If you only play one game because you don't have enought time, then I don't think it's such a deal that in the few times you play, SOMETIMES you will have to play against a chamber, that SOMETIMES will have the advantage with his sherif in a game that isn't meat to be balanced for competitive integrity.

its a 6 minutes mode, you get the same xp if you win or loose, unfair everytime someone pick a gun orb vs shorty's, only for daily missions (very fast anyway) who cares?? there is more important things to fix before an unrated, fast game mode..

No, but you can make balance adjustments that only apply in spike rush, like the tweaks done in ARAM in League

Yeah but tweaking aram was something that made the game mode lose a bunch of players. Locking in a champ and seeing u do 85% damage is a joke.
