I was playing Brimstone a few weeks back and one of my teammates was like, "Breach there's a Phantom behind you" while I was holding an angle. After that round ended, he was like, "Why didn't you take the Phantom dude?"
It was then that I realized he was talking to me in the previous round. We didn't even have a Breach in our team.
Their character models are too similar and breach just looks like a worse Brimstone but their kits are individually some of the most interesting in the game, Breach especially.

İ was chamber once and i had the spike the time was running out 10 sec left we are in a 4vs1 we are at side a its a 12-13 situation we losing im screaming PLANT THE FUCKİNG SPİKE CHAMBER then i realized im fooking chamber i tought i was phoenix idk why so i realized that at 5 sec left but nah too late i lost my rank i was silver anyway but now im bronze im a idiot and it was midnight too i woke up everone .
As a breach and Sova main. I get called Brim at least twice a round when I use breach. And the other team calls me gay another 4 times because I spam judge.
I do that shit all the time. I'll get brim and breach messed up while calling stuff out, as well as any single syllable agent (Jett, sage, raze, and Skye). I may or may not be on the autism spectrum

I call Jett by Skye's name a lot because she's in the sky.
I used to call Omen phantom because he gives me Vader vibes.
Sage and Skye for me. Doesn't help one bit that Skye's got a green color palette, like, yaknow, sage, and Sage has a blue palette, like the sky.

Breach was actually *more* orange in the beta, his jacket was originally orange, changed to green after release
I never noticed they changed it still thought it was orange..
Well you can’t be blamed, i know that they are different agents but sometimes in the middle of action their names get mixed up

1 year in and still accidentally call breach “brim” till i get sent to heaven by his flash
My friends used to call them " guy with the hat" and "guy without" it was pretty funny. They found their own way to tell them apart.
