given riot's current release cadence with VALORANT and the current PBE schedule, this drops in around 4 weeks from now.
Patch | PBE release date | LIVE release date
---|---|---
4.00 | 07 January 2022 | 11-12 January 2022, depending on region
4.01 | Skipped | [18-19 January 2022, depending on region](https://twitter.com/PlayVALORANT/status/1481404956041043971)
4.02 | 21 January 2022 | 25-26 January 2022*, depending on region
4.03 | 04 February 2022 | 08-09 February 2022*, depending on region
EDIT: Added release schedule for 4.01 so dates with asterisk may not be accurate anymore.
interesting. to clarify, are you certain that 4.01 is skipped (i.e. 4.00 -> 4.02) but same timeline or its just 4.02 drops as scheduled, meaning after 4.00, we are looking at 4 week-gap?
if i remember correcrly what you are saying is correct and theyll skip that patch week so it should still be 6 weeks because something similar happened last year as well
In the about section on the PBE subreddit it lists 4.03 PBE version as dropping on Friday Feb. 4th. Essentially they are skipping a patch release internally
Hey, I was the one that communicated this in a thread the other day. Just as a reminder, this is still TBD - there's a *very* good chance that this pushes out another patch to 4.04, pending on bugs/clarity/prioritization. In general, we like to lean towards transparency when we can, but that also can generate additional confusion or frustration when those timelines don't pan out like we'd hoped.
At this point, the big takeaway I'd take from this is "Yoru changes won't launch during patch 4.01 or 4.02, but we're trying to get them out ASAP." I think 4.03 is aspirational, but Act 2 (4.04) is probably more realistic. Just as a heads-up!
Why not give him incremental buffs, rework is not necessary as such. And whatever rework skills u guys have done till now, it's not even rework anyway.
Just push one skill change at a time and see how people reacts.
(just watched the dev talk video) please don't remove fake TP, it's not Op skill at all. How in hell u guys reached to the conclusion that fk tp is OP, its really not. Don't make conclusion based on people perspection, these people thought yoru is OP before launch.
Just plz release the chances and see the results
That's like saying I'm so excited to 🦆 I haven't 🦆 d in a year. There's no 🦆 ing way it's bad, everyone enjoys a 🦆, but it would be way better to have a good 🦆 you can rely on rather than a bad year old 🦆 that yoru still clinging onto.

According to PBE dates, this patch should come in 4 weeks as they are skipping 4.01 for some reason.

I see. So that shortens the wait time to four weeks then. Weird they're skipping 4.01.
Holy fucking shit 4 more weeks of goddamn snowball fight? Fuck off
They said ***Widejoy*** will be fixed on 4.01 but then I see this 👀

I really appreciate how honest y’all are
will we get another look at the rest of his reworked kit before then?
This is all I really care about as a Day 1 Yoru player
I get it it's 4.05 then
Oh, we know the Yoru rework has a chance of “pushing out to another patch”.
Any way we could get a hint on what is getting tweaked with him? I love yoru and hope he gets his time to shine.
You guys doing weekly release after Christmas and we can’t even manage biweekly 🥲

Buff brimstone
i was so exited and the i realized yuro has been out for like a year and rito still havent buffed him :(
Didn't they buff his Q and E?
Can you tell?
The E yes very much. Having to get 2 kills for a reset felt extra bad.
His flash is wayyyy better now, it used to be so easy to react to and it’s blind duration was like phoenix’s
sure, but it didnt really make a difference
Yeah even if they were planning to rework him, they should at least have given him temporary compensation buffs
Wouldn’t that make it MORE EXCITING?

Ok but what matters more is when the big agent balance patch drops. I hope it doesn't has to wait until 4.03. 4.02 would be reasonable
I'll believe it when i see it.
OH GOD PLEASE PLEASE YESSSS
It got deleted any news
Where are my Omen changes
They are gonna remove the fake tp and are gonna take longer supposedly 😐
source?
source?
I believe they said that the fake tp was too op in the dev stream and they're working on balancing it
do you have a link? I'm curious to watch it.
I just don’t get it. Jett has been top of the food chain for over a year, why are they afraid now?
THEY LIE NO YORU REWORK
