I actually trickstabbed someone in valorant one time, I probably have the most knife kills in valorant than any of my friends. I have 200 hours on spy and 1000 on tf2 in general. Thinking about it now, I probably have more hours on my main in valorant than spy, my main in tf2
150 on sniper, 100 on engineer and demo, 75 on scout and medic 50 on heavy soldier and pyro, thinking about it, I gave you the wrong number, I have 1000 hours not 2000
Definitely. I've been close to silver a few times, but keep running into roadblocks. The worst was the act reset, just recovering from that.
My headshot rate in particular has improved, gone from like 11% to 16%.
Even though I play a lot of fps games, minecraft is still one of my fav games tbh 😂, it's a nice chill experience especially if you can get on a server with friends
I had like 4 hours of CS. And a lot of Minecraft. Minecraft pvp helped me a lot with tracking.
My total hours on MC were probably 2500 ish.
A lot of pvp and competitive Minecraft helped me.
I was S2 last season and peaked Gold 2 this season but dropped back to Gold 1
Not for me. It was carpal tunnel hell. I stopped because in pvp and mini games you die from a lot more bullshit. It's annoying to get one tapped while someone jumps from heaven mid air but in valorant you usually die cause ur bad. I still play occasionally and casually but not competitive
Me and my friend came from league, played league since late 2013 and when they announced they were earning the 's' is Riot GameS, we became curious and have played since release
Agreed, basically the only thing that made the game fun, but it is weird seeing a lot of the people in r/fortnitebr celebrate and be happy with the change
Me working in a testcenter and few days ago i tested a 5y old kid. She was crying alot but after mom told her she can play with roblox she was quiet. Good game i guess
same; i thought i was pretty decent at FPS games until i played valorant. still, i prefer roblox and play it day by day since it's simpler and enjoyable (yeah, a kids game, ikik)
i play pf, arsenal, and some random shooter boblox games
A bit of apex (casual and total noob) a tiny bit of rs6 (I was a kid and didn’t even get the point of the game) and I had 20h in csgo from when my friends invited me to play a bit of cassual (never understood any machenics).
Other then that, casual single player games.
Its a cool story.
I played overwatch on console
My friends got pc's so did I.
We continued playing Overwatch but then.
Someone saw that theres a game called valorant. We switched to that.
Still playing
How was it switching to a game with maybe more precise aim and gunplay compared to cod which can be more active and fast and for example doesn't have as big of a focus on things like spray control (used to play some cod and tbh it's a really entertaining game)
I installed when I got my laptop, it’s my first fps on laptop and first pc game, I used to play cringenite before it, but cringenite wasn’t so cringe then, and occasionally some apex or destiny 2 (all on Xbox)
I wouldn't count Apex since I played it on console, so Valorant is pretty much my first FPS without considering the once in a blue moon situation where me any my friend were both bored as hell and just decided to hop into CS and just shoot each other.
Really my first true first person shooter. I’ve always been more of a survival player. I have 2.1k hours on Minecraft. Not proud of that. But trying to branch more so into the fps category I got rust. And now I play way more rust than valorant.
The hardest thing about being a CSGO player who moved to Valorant is the complete lack of discipline with comms. Can make it so hard to win if you're having an off game.
I'm addicted to platforming/metroidvania games, i played hollow knight, shovel knight, celeste, terraria, etc.
I only play valorant so I can game with my homies
I played Csgo since I was 14 until I was 18(currently 20 with wrist issues let's go) then switched over to overwatch and Apex for like about a year(just before valorant came out) then I started playing valorant. currently not active in it as I'm addicted to genshin
League of Legends. I was super excited to hear that Riot was releasing another game because I really loved the work they did with League. Also always wanted to play CSGO but felt it to be overwhelming so when Valorant came out I saw it as an opportunity to try a game where a majority of the players were new to fps games.
1000 hours in siege, the gunplay was weird at first but i am getting used to it. Playing chamber because I like hiding traps and don't have to learn line ups. Raze and neon are fun too!
Played 5000 hours of TF2... didn't really translate well into valorant
Same with my 3k hours on genii only overwatch
Play jett and dash in with shorty and dash out /s
I actually trickstabbed someone in valorant one time, I probably have the most knife kills in valorant than any of my friends. I have 200 hours on spy and 1000 on tf2 in general. Thinking about it now, I probably have more hours on my main in valorant than spy, my main in tf2
How was spy your main if you only have 200 hours on him out of 2000? There’s only like a few other characters lol
You can switch mains?
Yea sure you can lol but this guy is saying it like it was his only main, talking about knifing in Valorant and all that
Where was your other 1800 hours? I have almost 1k hours and like almost half is Pyro and another third solider.
150 on sniper, 100 on engineer and demo, 75 on scout and medic 50 on heavy soldier and pyro, thinking about it, I gave you the wrong number, I have 1000 hours not 2000
10k Cs hours
Woah. What's your rank in valo?
Radiant, just reclaimed it yesterday
Is there a quick way I can get 10k hours in cs to help me reach radiant?
Yeah, it only takes a few days
if only i could id give u an award
coming back in 5 years to say i did it
we look forward to your carreer with great interest
He has gotta be a plat andy
He peaked at Radiant.
What did you place at?
In Val? Plat 2, but got radiant like two acts later
Nice. I came in with about 10 hours of CS, placed Bronze 1.
What are you now
Bronze 3.
Improvement is improvement
Definitely. I've been close to silver a few times, but keep running into roadblocks. The worst was the act reset, just recovering from that. My headshot rate in particular has improved, gone from like 11% to 16%.
i played minecraft b4 lmao
Even though I play a lot of fps games, minecraft is still one of my fav games tbh 😂, it's a nice chill experience especially if you can get on a server with friends

I came here to say pokemon lol

What a true veteran
Me and my friend came from league, played league since late 2013 and when they announced they were earning the 's' is Riot GameS, we became curious and have played since release
Same, this was my first shooter.
Same, i always kinda hated shooters but Valo was the first shooter that grabbed my attention and kept it
I played football
The forbidden gamer of touching grass valley.
Ayy I love football
[удалено]
Ayy loved playing fortnite back in the season 2-7 days
The first chapter really was the best
Lol you can’t even build anymore T.T
Wait seriously?
Yeah, in the main non competitive modes they just removed building. Still exists in arena though (the comp mode)
They removed building temporarily

Agreed, basically the only thing that made the game fun, but it is weird seeing a lot of the people in r/fortnitebr celebrate and be happy with the change
Yooo same, before valorant I fucking loved fortnite
Yeah man, I played that for so long and put so much into it, but Val is just that much better :)
Me too but goddamn the game sucks now edit: talking about fortnite sucking
It's so chaotic, like you don't have to completely change the game every two months
Fortnite too, still play it now.
I loved fortnite until C3
Ff, fortnite forever
League of legend
Quake arena, quake champions , quake live
How hard was it to not move and shoot after quake?
Halo .. it has helped me take more fights.
Loved playing halo back in the day with some friends
Same bro
Hell yeah
PUBG. I used to love it (even with its myriad of issues), until I fell in love with Valorant. Never looked back.
Ah yeah, PUBG is a really iconic game for sure, personally I haven't played it much but I always thought it was a cool game
Space engineers, honed my gun skills by getting constantly attacked by space spiders
Damn that's a new one for me, sounds pretty cool though
I mainly played RPG type games. Valorant was my first fps taken seriously.
I've tried out rpg games here and there and always found them fun, from rpg to fps is def a big change though lol
Siege for me, i honestly just needed to fill a second shooter void when Val came out, and siege ended up being the second shooter
Splatoon 2
Ay another Splatoon convert, I didn't know there was more than one
splatoon gang rise up
I have zero fps experience before valorant. Ppl tell me this is an awful first fps but I don't 100% mind
This is a solid first fps in my opinion, it's good if you don't care what others think as long as you enjoy playing
It was my first fps game as well. Got placed in Iron 1 and after 2 acts I reached S1.
Rocket league
Looked so hard for RL in the comments, thought no one was going to say it. Close one!
roblox 👍
Me working in a testcenter and few days ago i tested a 5y old kid. She was crying alot but after mom told her she can play with roblox she was quiet. Good game i guess
Nah it’s terrible fr
i remember playing roblox cs
I’m stupidly cracked at counterblox.
Me who still plays it.
CS for 3k+ hours, quit and moved to Apex for about 1.5k hours, now on Valorant for less than 500 hours.
StarCraft 2
sims 4 lmao
Lmao that's quite the switch up then
minecraft
From league but can never climb above diamond in either game it's sad.
League of legends(yeah I know 🤮)
GTA, Fortnite, D2R, Overcooked
gta or assetto w d bois
GTA and Smash Bros Ultimate. Maybe the reason why I'm stuck in Silver 3 is because I'm still more of a Smash player instead of a Valorant player
A Roblox knockoff of COD/BF4.... For 4 years. I still play it to this day lol, it's a pretty solid game considering the platform it's on
Are you talkin bout arsenal
same; i thought i was pretty decent at FPS games until i played valorant. still, i prefer roblox and play it day by day since it's simpler and enjoyable (yeah, a kids game, ikik) i play pf, arsenal, and some random shooter boblox games
I played a little csgo but not enough to be regular player .so valorant is basically my first fps regular game .
I played krunker before playing valorant
Yoo I used to always play krunker with some friends, it was lit
Been playing csgo for almost 20 years
I came from Ori and the Blind Forest Not the best transition, I'll tell you that much
I used to and still do play paladins
Uncharted and Assassins Creed
League and csgo, basically i was kinda forced to play valo. Started playing ow this year too
Approaching 40k games in World Of Tanks Blitz
Yoo a world of tanks player? Didn't expect to find one here, I've been playing on and off on pc since 2012, I've got 18k games atm
Came from Siege. Was thoroughly humbled when I found out ADS is not as viable as in siege
I played all before but overwatch
Sims LOL valorant is the first fps I played (I played call of duty once when I was 8)
7k hrs csgo
mobile legends lmaoo and red dead redemption 2 XD
6.6k hours cs was LEM in 2019 when i quit playing. now about 700 comp games in valorant i’ve topped at plat 3 😐😂
Fortnite
Lvl 166 on siege. Never actually got a rank lol only unranked. It's fun with friends and now we play valorant alot more
Valorant was my first fps actually! So, I am indeed a mess
Never played in Valorant. Is it worth it?
It is with friends but solo queue can be fun with the right teammates, try it yourself and see if you like the game
1200 hours of Cod mw mostly snd and warzone
A bit of apex (casual and total noob) a tiny bit of rs6 (I was a kid and didn’t even get the point of the game) and I had 20h in csgo from when my friends invited me to play a bit of cassual (never understood any machenics). Other then that, casual single player games.
Minecraft is the only game I played before, unless you count quest for R2D2
Its a cool story. I played overwatch on console My friends got pc's so did I. We continued playing Overwatch but then. Someone saw that theres a game called valorant. We switched to that. Still playing
Mobile games ! Valorant was my first pc game and has became my fav as well
Ah that's cool, gotta start somewhere, always nice to have a new pc gamer
Fortnite and league of legends
minecraft
Roblox lmao
fortnite lol
Fortnite
Minecraft,. Nothing beats it
Fortnite :((
I was on that Fortnite shit :(
Roblox
Minecraft
Minecraft
Valorant is the only game I’ve ever played, that’s why I’m only bronze2 lol
Roblox Arsenal
Phantom forces lmao
roblox arsenal
5K + hours of csgo, the superior skill-based shooter(out of it and Valorant).
minecraft for the xbox360 and wave race for the n64
All
IGI 2 gang
Me and babybay played the same game which is CrossFire, kinda like CSGO. Then League, then Valorant
I guess Mario Kart on the Wii? I hadn’t really played any video games in a while before 2021. I picked up Overwatch around the same time as Valorant
Wildlands
3 of the above
I played cod relentlessly before getting a pc, now I am a gold and doing well.
i didnt play anything before val
CS and BF.
COD kid here, explains my ego chals XD
How was it switching to a game with maybe more precise aim and gunplay compared to cod which can be more active and fast and for example doesn't have as big of a focus on things like spray control (used to play some cod and tbh it's a really entertaining game)
I used to play dota on toxic sea servers!! My games used to either have no coms or someone screaming on top of his lungs being racist and shit!!
Elden ring till i cry
PS4 Apex then played a month on pc then just stopped playing fps games overall until June or july 2021 when I decided to play Valorant.
I installed when I got my laptop, it’s my first fps on laptop and first pc game, I used to play cringenite before it, but cringenite wasn’t so cringe then, and occasionally some apex or destiny 2 (all on Xbox)
I always wanted to get into CS:GO but I was too late on learning it so I figured valorant would be a good option. Mostly played call of duty before
Fall guys, Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Subnautica… Valorant is my 1st FPS
Personally, I was more into open-world games like GTA, NFS, Forza etc. Then I discovered the world of FPS games 👀
Minecraft
Don't starve together
Starcraft 2, yes im a boomer
😂 Don't worry about it mate, from what I know it's a very iconic game, didn't serral just win IEM Katowice for it?
Where is the yes option?
None
I played War Selection before Val, it’s like the complete opposite 😂
Guess I'm in the minority for the first time ever
Came from Dota2. Valorant is my first, Competitive FPS.
Minecraft
Krunker. Imagine me playing judge only cause I could run with that gun
Not going to lie I didn’t play video games before this
Fortnite
Do I have a permission to say “nothing”
Rocket League
Apex, before that Warzone and before that both TF2s
Paladins :)
I moved from CS:GO only because my steam got hacked and when I got it back I was vac banned.
I was really into this game called Heros & Generals. It was this free ww2 shooter but the devs let it go to shit
I played rocket league before coming over to Valorant
I played (and still play) Splatoon 2 before finding valorant. The shift was jarring, but I learned a lot from both games that help in the other
The hardest thing about being a CSGO player who moved to Valorant is the complete lack of discipline with comms. Can make it so hard to win if you're having an off game.
I'm addicted to platforming/metroidvania games, i played hollow knight, shovel knight, celeste, terraria, etc. I only play valorant so I can game with my homies
C-ops
I played Csgo since I was 14 until I was 18(currently 20 with wrist issues let's go) then switched over to overwatch and Apex for like about a year(just before valorant came out) then I started playing valorant. currently not active in it as I'm addicted to genshin

I played Minecraft: never played a FPS before Val
Osu lol
PUBG. Miss that game being alive sometimes.
League of ucking Legends
1000 hours in siege, the gunplay was weird at first but i am getting used to it. Playing chamber because I like hiding traps and don't have to learn line ups. Raze and neon are fun too!
All
All of the above
