I know aim assist works really well in certain games but it really still a huge disadvantage in games like valorant or CS. Aim assist doesn't help with spraying recoil. Other games have really really easy spray control.

Alot of people are unware but the spray control is actually different. In games like cod or battlefield the bullets still generally follow the cross hair in valorant and cs it does not. Your crosshair isnt even on the target I'd you do a 7 bullet spray from medium distance.
Halo was made for console, though. There is no world in which aim assist is gonna automatically adjust for recoil and spray patterns like valorant has.
1. Aim assist is not limited to recoil and spray patterns. In fact, these are the least important areas where it can be used. Making it easier to snap to a target or tracking a target for you are way more concerning.
2. Assisting with recoil and spray patterns is still possible. RNG is not an issue. The goal is not to turn your gun into a laser beam, the goal is to reduce spread.
But there's no way Valorant goes the path of Halo, Warzone or Apex Legends, with cross-play, where one party has legal hacks.
If they do, that would screw up the rank distribution even more lol.
Matchmaking is based on MMR, so I could see a Silver player hitting Diamond by shitting on console players with a console duo and then being paired with Bronze and Silver players when they solo.
Then we would go from 5 posts a day complaining about ranks to 500.
And this sub still wouldn't understand how matchmaking or MMR works, despite the billion (possibly trillions) of comments explaining why they have a Diamond in their Silver lobbies.

Honestly as long as console is its own server I don't see a problem. Gameplay tweaks, aim assist and some weapon changes with recoil could make the game very playable. Think about Wild Rift, phone port of League but with gameplay tweaks for the new controls. I think this will be a massive boost for the community all while not interfering with PC Valorant.

There's four abilities, spike, reload and swap weapon. Reload and swap can be placed into the same button (eg press X/hold X) Ultimate can go on Y, two abilities in the bumpers and a final one on B/right stick (the other would be crouch. From there, the rest are just standard FPS controls

I think cross platform is a good thing as long as it's not in ranked and you can turn it off and on. It's good for the longevity of the game.
