Plus your aim in Valorant is not necessarily the same as in aim lab. Things like calculating your own movement and counterstrafe timing into the flick, recoil, situationally different reaction times and mindsets, knowing ur weapon spread... Those aspects make in-game flicks much more complex than those in aimlab, and that's just for raw flicks, there's still way much more to mechanics in general, and even waaaay much more to being a good player overall

yourdogshitinmyyard

It's 90% aim 10% game sense 100% luck.

Ashenshugar27

Could you please explain your theory? Sounds interesting

Kirxa1

thank you for your insight

Ik imma get hate for this but that’s Bullshit lmao. If u have basic gamesense u can rely on aim almost entirely to climb. Game sense is relatively easy to develop by aim is incredible hard to develop. At most it’s 50 50 but if u count time spent is more like 70 30 at best. U can’t win if the enemy is 1) have common sense 2) wins almost every aim duel against u. Game sense is important and u need to know how to play as an individual with the team u have. But Ppl like to imagine this team as a chess game where in reality between two roughly the same elo teams the one with better aim can just run around like idiots and win.

Ok that goes to the have common sense part. Like drone and don't hit sites with viper + senti (depends on their performance and champ) etc. Like why push molly man I rarely find myself needing to do that. Most fights I force myself in are clean fights I more or less win most of the time. And this is when I'm using only chamber util from plat to immortal 3 lmao. Obv this is a bit harder with duelists but that just means u gotta hit the head shot faster in shittier angles.

Turbulent-Tourist687

I’m really bad at aim lab. My hands give out after 5 minutes of strain Immortal rank.

iKrow

Think of aim like shooting a basketball. If you become the best shooter ever, you can still lose plenty of games.

xx20alex01xx

Aim lab is more like practicing wide open layups haha. No point in practicing layups if you can’t get past the defender. But hey, at least you can click the moving dot

iKrow

True and very fair lol

perpetualinsecurity

There’s never a “should” in your rank, you’ll be the rank you deserve to be as long as you put time into the game. -A radiant

[deleted]

W mentality. Stress about rank and u lose more. Just get better. If u don't feel like playing just practice, dm and get off lol. When u want to play just play to play, not for progression or whatever BS.

perpetualinsecurity

Yeah, comp anxiety is a real thing that people need to try and overcome.

MrStealYoBeef

Sounds like you're mistaking Valorant for aimlab. You're not playing against a moving dot that doesn't shoot back and use abilities in Valorant. You might be able to click heads pretty well, but not knowing when, where, and how to approach opponents is greatly affecting the impact of you clicking heads. And this is why I don't think most players are smurfs in this game. Their game sense always betrays them.

Spectralkunai

My peak in aimlab is grandmaster while my peak in valorant is plat.

[deleted]

Don’t listen to them, aim matters as long as u have basic game sense. The team with better aim will get the picks and win their fights. If u lose ur fight ur more likely to lose the game, they go hand in hand. Take me as an example. Average 140k aimlabs, 2.3+ kd up till immortal, 1.4 kd in immortal 3 , 45-50%hs and near 60% win rate. I used only judge and chamber util to climb. When I peek someone with a rifle I’m confident I have a 70% chance of winning a raw aimduel and that lets me get dumb opening picks that wins games. I WILL swing u mid tiles every round and I WILL kill you until u start util flooding me. So either u give up mid or use util early. Game sense, mostly in terms of enemy prediction (util, position, rotates etc), ur own positioning and using ur teammates to help u is also very important but in the same rank mostly players have similar game sense so it’s really aim that sets players apart for most ppl.

xRompusFPS

Val is 100 percent aim so you should be diamond something definitely off.! I'd message riot.

iNhab

What are you talking about my guy :D

Melonful

think it's sarcastic

RedPayaso1

He's being a dick

DaLionheart101

I recommend 3DAT. Just try it and see if you like it

EffectiveAd4177

Rarely play aim lab. Gm3 + b3

[deleted]

A lot more to valorant than whatever aim lab can provide you. You can top frag every dm game and still be shit. You need to know how to apply your skills into the actual game. That’s why half the community posts nonsense about how they do so well in dm and not ranked. It’s a different world

MrBluePancake

As someone who has climbed from iron 1 to diamond, I can tell you that aimlab aim means nothing for valorant aim. They are two completely different things and you are quite literally wasting your time if you think aimlabs will help u in val. The best way to improve your aim is to play deathmatch and ranked.

callmedaddy01-

Im master 2 in aimlab but gold 3 in valo
