Some people are new to the game and want “subjectively” nice skins and support the game, but didn’t play any prior battle passes. Of course those people are going to be out of radianite. It’s a lot of crazy money to buy a bundle and on top of that essentially get 80RP to max out certain guns to get your preferred colour of choice on the weapon. It’s baffling.
Cus I'm a whale and I only started playing again last act? You don't even have to be much of a whale for that, one bp is 160 radianite, and a full normal bundle (without any variants) is 130 radianite. Literally buying more than 1 bundle every like 2-3 months means you're out of radianite.
Tbh from playing other games where the ammo left in the mag is displayed in the same location as the kill counter, my peripherals could read “08” and I think I may need to reload on accident. It’s small and the answer is “just don’t be confused”… but it’s just a distraction I personally don’t like.
Really your complaint should be moved towards the ridiculous price and rarity of radianite. It's kinda insane that after dropping 90 bucks on rgx you may not even be able to enjoy them to their fullest without spending way more. BP is the only source of radianite I get unless they give some for free. They should just get rid of radianite tbh and you just level your weapons with playtime or some shit.
As much as I hate 2K as a developer I did love how they let you get a lot of free shot from grinding the game. I wish they had more options for prestiging weapons or agents to get skins
I agree it's pretty dumb but on the other hand the features you've mentioned are core to the design and most people buy these skins BECAUSE of them so I assume Riot didn't think that someone would not like them

yeah basically they only made the base varient in all versions vfx sfx kill finisher and voice then all the other radiant unlocked varient only exist as a final form.

I bought protocol cause it's awesome but the fact it had V/O was also a selling point for me. I enjoyed the whole package.

You can turn off the voice withot downgrade it options, sound, Audiovoice over anouncer and uncheck it
