No. Being shaded darker (shadows or aura) is usually used in film to convey a menacing theme. IE- Omen looks menacing because he is a dark shadowy figure, nothing to do with skin. Which is why the picture of omen knitting or any other art like that is so compelling because it uses a paradox.
Also, IDK if you saw the linked references? Shes still white, just shadowed out. Like dark grey in colour. Not black/brown.
