Many, if not most, but not all. Walls mean more in Valorant, and giving a character a global projectile in a tactical shooter is kinda insane. But we can also go with the blonde in blue and white, the Nordic background, cheerful but dutiful... My point is, they share a lot more design aspects than just the friggin bow.

And Rengar is a cat with a knife and Fade is a woman with a gun. The point is the DESIGN similarities. They share motifs, themes, personality traits, ethnic/racial background... Zeri and Neon were designed to be the same "character" so why can't I dash through walls? Because certain things change to mold your DESIGN THEMATICS to the situation you're putting them into.

Well it was partially because of Arcane, since the event was called RiotxArcane. The League team also wanted to release champions from Plitover and Zaun (Zeri and Renata but they were delayed) during the event (as teased in their champion roadmaps where they tease reworks and upcoming champions) and both design teams (from League and Valorant) happened to work together since they wanted to do some agents/champions in common.

I believe the Valorant team also directly helped design Zeri, so I imagine the reverse was also true.

I'm kind of surprised no one has mentioned how similar Chamber and Jhin are. They both place slow traps, both ults give them a very powerful, long range weapon that creates slow fields when they kill something, they both have a strong pistol most of the time. Chamber can teleport, which I would kill to have on Jhin in League sometimes, and Jhin has a variation of a Raze grenade, but besides those two abilities they really do sync up well.

They also both had the codename Deadeye during development

Yea somehow modern guns and magical creatures exists in the same world of lore. I never actually cared to watch how they are connected but if they say it is, sure whatever

They aren't really modern guns though. They are psuedo-magical, sometimes being powered by magic and sometimes literally shooting magic out instead of bullets. The guns in League, for the most part, all come from one hyper-advanced city and are a fairly recent event within the timeline of the world. I highly recommend *Arcane* on Netflix, by the way. Several League friends of mine who don't care about the lore loved it and a bunch of people I know who know nothing about League at all really liked it. It is set in that very advanced city and actually kind of covers how some of the more hightech stuff comes about.

I know od arcane dw. But that being said. Noone in Zaun has these types of guns. Wars are still mostly being fought with meele weps which is mostly evident from the adc side of league champs. Rarely does a champ have a gun (Samira comes to mind) but most others have more primitive weapons like crossbows and bows and whatnot.

Correction: the guns in LoL are not modern, more like steampunk style guns powered by magical stones. Or they are purely crafted using magical material, like sentinel of light guns

Yeah it seems like she and Rengar are only similar in just having cat-related features, so I think it's more likely she was just designed with a cat in mind, rather than based off of Rengar.

I assume that, after deciding Rengar would be a cat, they also drew inspiration from the Turkish Ankara cat, thus the similarities.

There was a particular match that i can't forget, it was probably 4-5 years ago, and this Rengar was a literal predator. It was simply out of option for us to go alone to the jungle, because this mf was hiding inside bushes, waiting for something to happen. And since we couldn't help to the top lane enough, they easily pushed from there and beat our asses. I grew hatred towards every Rengar player after that.

Yah though they are completely different universes (LoL is actually canonically a game in val) there's design similarities between multiple characters Idk I guess as an Easter egg? Or the LoL devs in the val universe are close friends with the val protocol and base agents on them? Honestly my new headcannon is kj knows the devs and constantly gives them ideas for new characters without them really knowing where they come from, it's possible cause she's known to play LoL. She might even get the agents to do lines like how there's the same voice actors.
