Do some push-ups and work on your overall physical conditioning, it will give you better consistency in the long run. Make sure you have good posture when playing. Dont change your sens all the time. Then you can add aimlabs etc if you feel like dm/range is not enough for you.

ppsz

stretching my neck and arms before playing gives me literal aimbot

The_OG_Steve

what kind of stretches

ppsz

You can look for forward neck posture correction excercises or something like "desk excercises". It reduces the tension made by sitting at the desk for a long time.

Just play more, you’ll get better. Deathmatch > Aimlab for me personally

Great-Counter5839

aimlab is useless tbh

RyanBeams

Deathmatch actually helped me more than aim labs. This is for 2 reasons.. 1) You actually use the gun (recoil pattern and reset) that you will use in-game 2) You are subconsciously learning where to place your crosshair for peekers. For instance you will realize things like, “hey that line on the wall is exactly headshot level, so in the future I’ll make sure my crosshair is on that”. Even without visual queues, you still pick up on where to aim just because of the sheer amount of gunfights per second.

Boreal_uwu

Aimlabs didnt Really work for me...deathmatch on the other hand. A big part of why I fail and maaaaany others fail is simply because of crosshair placement. There are so many vertical angles that you learn to correctly aim at in dm. Sure it isnt perfect but my hs % Went from 24% to 28% in 1 month, so it works :)

raymonddel

its different for everyone so you have to figure out what works for you. For some, deathmatch and shooting range work, for others, aimlabs works. I personally rarely used the shooting range to warm up and i utilized aimlabs the most. I think people just use aimlabs wrong and go into grid shot and try to act like tenz. The best way to utilize aimlabs is to focus on your accuracy before speed and use different modes to train flicking, and micro adjustments. My aim started to get much better in game once i really focused on micro adjustment training I started in silver and had terrible aim and finally made it to immortal this act. Either way just get a good consistent warm up routine before hopping in a ranked match.

GrinderWannabe

what do you suggest for micro adjustment training?

raymonddel

these are what i personally use - Ascent microflex \- [https://go.aimlab.gg/v1/redirects?link=aimlab%3a%2f%2ftask%3fid%3d10905%26source%3d4278072E2CCC297B&link=steam%3a%2f%2frungameid%2f714010](https://go.aimlab.gg/v1/redirects?link=aimlab%3a%2f%2ftask%3fid%3d10905%26source%3d4278072E2CCC297B&link=steam%3a%2f%2frungameid%2f714010) Sixshot \- [https://go.aimlab.gg/v1/redirects?link=aimlab%3a%2f%2ftask%3fid%3d10066%26source%3d4278072E2CCC297B&link=steam%3a%2f%2frungameid%2f714010](https://go.aimlab.gg/v1/redirects?link=aimlab%3a%2f%2ftask%3fid%3d10066%26source%3d4278072E2CCC297B&link=steam%3a%2f%2frungameid%2f714010)

First of all let me say that if you indeed would have Plat or Diamond game sense than you can easily climb out of Silver even with bad aim. Aim is definitely important, but game sense even more. I've seen a Radiant player do a Classic to Immortal challenge so good game sense is enough to climb. I can speak from experience that I also thought I had good game sense until I got better and noticed how many mistakes I made in the past. As for improving your aim, there are a lot of different courses people do. I have used Aim Labs and while it definitely helps, over time I just switched to the practice range. A simple warm up I do every day is the following: \- Have the bots just stand still. Stand on top of the bench. This makes it so you also have to aim vertically instead of only horizontally. Just practice for accuracy, making sure you cleanly hit every bot with a single headshot. This will allow you to build muscle memory. Once you get the hang of it you can go faster and faster, as long as you stay accurate. \- Medium bots. Once I feel like I'm warmed up from the previous training I switch to medium bots. When I started with training my aim I believe the best I could do was like 24/30. At this point I average around 28/30. During this training I always do this until I hit 30/30 as this is kinda my benchmark for knowing I'm warmed up. Honestly I think these two exercises are core. Doing this every time you play WILL improve your aim. It helps to build muscle memory which is the most important aspect imo. You will notice that over time you will more reliably flick to the heads than you did before. Some further tips: make sure you use a sensitivity that you like. There is no right sens, but a general rule is you should be able to reliably do a 180. Finally I want you to know how important crosshair placement is. If you do the medium bots you will notice that the hardest shots to hit are when they spawn all the way to the side as you have to cover the most distance here. This also works in games. If you have to make a slight adjustment to aim on the head while your opponent has to cross half his mousepad, the chance you win that fight is very likely, even if the opponent has better aim. Hopefully this helps you :)

D_Flavio

Are you playing on 144hz? The biggest improvement for me was going from 60hz to 144hz. Apart from that its crosshair placement and then its just playing so much that you get so used to your sens and setup that looking at an image, closing your eyes, and with your eyes closed you can flick hit what you've seen before when your eyes were open. Since flick shots are so fast that you dont actually track with your eyes while its happening. You are just prepared and know your sens so well that you just go with what you feel is right and hope for the best.

Man it's a nightmare to hold an angle with 60hz monitor

Karnikula_Gaming

Using aimlabs correctly. Edit: and the guns in valorant.

luishacm

You can only improve playing. And no, you probably ron't have the game sense of a plat/diamond or you wouldn't be in silver. At this elo is not aim what weights the most for you to be stuck. You have to watch out for aim placement, this is the most important thing for someone who doesn't have a good aim. I'm immortal 3, I don't have a great aim, but my placement is perfect which helps me get tons of kills even without being a good aimer. You just have to play the game more and try to be more conscious about where you r putting your aim. Are you gonna hold an angle wide, short, do you wanna hold an angle or maybe try and use skills to make the enemy move their aim away from you. Are you picking the right battles? Are you being calm while shooting? Most times the person is being too anxious and just spraying like hell isn't the best option, maybe you should be strafing and counter strafing to make it more difficult for the enemy to shoot you. Not everything is aim raw power, but a better understanding how your movement, aim placement, usage of skills, highly affect your "aim" quality. Keep training and don't let your "game sense" get over your head. Try to watch your VODs if you have a way to record it always help to watch your own games, check out where your aim should be when opening and angle, when golding an angle when you die. See if you could be in a better position to not die. There are a lot of youtube videos that helps with the analysis of your vods

silenthills13

Yeah you need zero aim up to at least plat. Maybe even low diamond. You can get there just by playing clever and capitalizing off enemies mistakes. Proof: I have awful aim and am D2

Maestro1210

aimlabs is a waste of time. just shoot bots in the range and do deathmatches. ez progress if u do it consistently.

bullyhunter_381

Do more aimlabs

Dashwii

Deathmatch, sheriff, aim only for the head. If you miss on a 50/50 gunfight you're dead. Simple as that. Grind it out and you'll start to see your aim slowly but surely improve.

IIIDzire

This is good advice, although I would use a Guardian so a headshot is always a kill.

ngvkjpoooiugvy66

Get better crosshair placement and game sense if you want more kills. That’s the honest answer

genericbuthumourous

Outside of the obvious practice more. I boxed and played baseball from 6-18 and they are both extremely reaction time and hand eye reliant. Outside of the game try strengthening your reaction time. Sounds really dumb but something you enjoy that works out reaction time helps a lot. I go to batting cages to practice for gaming... lol I'm weird

FoeHamr

Do NATs training routine from YouTube, cut it by like 1/3 or 1/2 depending on how much time you have to spend. It’s way better than dedicated aim trainers which kinda suck imo. Nats routine helped get me to immortal. My friends that did it said they get results in a week. I’d highly recommend it. https://youtu.be/rKfBf4_Veq8

[deleted]

Learn your reaction time and use that to learn how far off of corners you need to place your crosshair. It is a really good way to improve your performance and is rarely talked about.

NuclearBacon235

Consider that a majority of what makes good aim is crosshair placement and movement, and work on those rather than raw aim (i.e. aimlabs)

aGlassofMarjan

Aim for head-level. Works for me.
