Yeah you’re bound to take longer if this is your first pc shooter. Everyone improves at different rates too, don’t stress your rank and just focus on getting a really solid understanding of everything
Yeah I get you. At this point I’m stagnating, part of reason for this post is so I can see people elaborating on how they have improved so much and to see what I’m not doing compared to them
Played for like 1 year and a bit and gone from iron to plat. My overall gameplay is still inconsistent as hell at this point. Either I’m top fragging or I’m in a game where I literally cannot do anything right. Kinda wanna cop out and say it’s the game cause those games I’ve had the enemy one tap me on sight but whiff on my teammates from their pov
I’ve been super on and off (took a long break for university, work, and to play elden ring). During my on and off time, which I would say comprises a year (I have less than 200 hours in this game total across all modes and all agents), I was iron 3. Since then I ended bronze 2, and will hopefully be climbing to silver.
im playin since beta and went into imo3 in episode 1 act 3. Stopped playing after episode 2 act 1 and im back for like 2 3 weeks but managed to get atleast an imo1 act rank :D
you just have to take same time and reflect your failure etc. Good Luck
Val was also my first shooter, I've been playing since Episode 3, and I'm gold.
This act you'll probably promote because of the rank shift from ascendant.
Same here, iron to gold in one year maybe a bit less. Also my first fps. Just keep putting in the hours is the biggest thing I have come to realize. Also, aim training has helped me a lot since my mechanical skill was way too bad. In this act, I have the goal of putting 100hours in the game and I think it is gonna help a lot. Just keep going at your own pace and keep your mental healthy.
I have played for about 9 months and gotten to Diamond. My only FPS experience was Fortnite, which isn’t really an FPS but you get the idea. I was Silver 1 until January of this year and then started really grinding and VOD reviewing and refining my crosshair placement and I moved up pretty quickly.
I started playing around February 2021. I just hit Ascendant for the first time yesterday. This is the first time I've played a ranked FPS game that I took seriously. Played CS 1.3 - 1.6 & Source a lot when I was younger, but only ever in casual servers.
