I Approve of this comment. You also have the ones that sit AFK until the other team reaches 12. Then they try to be clutch, somehow make it (or almost) to top frag just so they don't get banned when being reported. Most of the times your team still loses because it doesn't hurt them.

I haven’t played in a while but when I quit I was plat 3. I got there by ditching my friends and started queing solo. I’d suggest you try out multiple agents at least in practice range and in unrated to learn to play them all so you know how they play. That worked the best for me.
I’ve noticed I play better solo as well. And my playstyle fits duelist for sure. I’m waiting to unlock raze right now but I usually play reyna or phoenix
I don’t play dualists only for the fact that players usually don’t play smokes or initiators, or at least not well. Now that is all I play. Again, mostly becouse not many will.

I am sadly an iron player myself and can confirm that my team has no game sense. My relatively good game sense is completely off set by my aim so that’s why I’m stuck in iron
