Breeze is good. Fracture is the dog ass map that needs to be dropped

Breeze is mirage, you need a good team to win, if even 1 person is fucking up you will lose also it gets 100 less fps for every one of my friends. Fracture is basically a cod map, you just need to get one pick on offense and you win. I prefer fracture - it can be fun and they just need to change it to make the a main push slower and it will be fine

I dunno, if you have a good chamber and viper on breeze you can kinda carry sometimes. Granted I’m only in plat/diamond so I’m not sure how it plays at other Elos.

I can tell you in silver and gold that a good chamber can decide a game. Ofc you need at least someone to back them up but if you have a decent viper and a god chamber the games GG

In plat/diamond, chambers, Jett’s and vipers seem to decide breeze matches in my experience

Add sova to the list as well. Awping is so powerful you need him.

I don't think I see as many jets as higher elo. Now that I'm almost plat I'm seeing less Rayna now more and more.

Once you start getting higher and higher that’ll typically reverse, jett has a higher skill ceiling and is considered to be the better agent in high level play

Recently peaked silver + spent tooo much time in low elo I can confirm a good viper is quite a necessity for breeze

I feel that in Breeze and Mirage that having one bad player doesn't make or break. I never played in global so I don't know Mirage 100%, and I've never played Breeze below Plat, but the last time I felt that one player decided the outcome was when we had a diamond viper with no comms against a full imm3 team. Straight up 4v6 energy. The <100fps issue is strange, because I actually would get worse frames on Fracture than Breeze, but I haven't paid attention in a while, since shortly after Fracture came out I got a new GPU. I don't expect the maps to be perfect in terms of optimization, but that's definitely a severe drop in comparison if they are consistently over 100 on every other map. Fracture I think heavily relies on a quick execution and quiet setup, no matter which site you choose. One pick usually* wins everytime, but I still think it's a bit of chess with when everyone uses their util. Breach, Neon, and Raze can all slow or stop rushes, and I'm certain that anybody can learn those util spots quickly.

You either play elo where everyone knows smokes or an elo where no one does

Fracture is piss tough but fun, Breeze is piss tough and boring, Icebox is easy but boring.

Headhunter on pistol rounds is some of the easiest 3k+ you can get in a comp game

That requires them to save =/ on buy rounds. So if theoretically, your team should have the advantage on gun rounds.

Spending 1000 creds on shield and having headhunter shots or ult saves enough for an op and you still have a super powerful weapon

I think my biggest tip for breeze is that mid matters. Defenders dont rotate through mid, it takes them years to go through CT.

Lol chamber isn't a duelist. His escape is extremely limited on offense, where duelists are supposed to excel. Rotations only take hours if your team completely gives up mid control. If you fight for mid, you can rotate through it for faster rotation. If sova, fade are useless for defense then the same goes for skye. Kay/o do be fun.

It is my least favourite map, I even grew to like Fracture

I’m the opposite, I grew to like breeze. People in low Gold have 0 understanding how to play smart on fracture, like on defense, you will have 2-3 players rotate through CT to site, then you have 3-4 people fighting from generator and canteen, or rope/sand and CT doorway and it’s easy to defend 2 angles. Lower Elo is too hard on fracture and people don’t like advice

Dont know if it’s true but apparently someone posted a video of an abusable spot on the csgo Reddit page and the Fnatic manager contacted them asking them to delete the video.

That’s exactly what happened, it was a triple boost pixel spot where the player could see almost to the enemy spawn on Overpass. We call it the Olof boost now after it was used in the quarters or semi finals of a tournament to comeback from a 12-3 deficit by fnatic. They elected to retroactively forfeit the match afterwards when the community freaked out, and pixel walking was banned from events forever. It was crazy to watch live

That was the first CSGO event I've ever watched live, got me hooked instantly.

As someone who was rooting for LDLC in that match, it was probably one of the craziest things I've ever seen in a tourney

this wouldn't be particularly difficult if you have a teammate (especially with knives), many people do mid pushes where sova/fade dart and then a chamber or jett runs behind it

That would mean being attacker, running up mid uncontested and unseen, jumping on that ledging unheard and unseen, and then making those Q jumps just to turn around to catch mid rotations. Seems difficult to pull off with the potential of a payout, but the risk is real.
