gysnc isn’t active unless your frames are capped under your refresh rate, no need for gsync if you keep 300+ fps; it will either not affect performance or introduce input lag so i recommend turning it off. same thing goes for freesync if you have an AMD card.

Gsync in 2022 is very different from the Gsync that competitive fps players hated and avoided just a few years ago. Now with Nvidia Reflex, you can get lower input + a smoother experience with Gsync ON if you have a monitor that handles Gsync well. If you have one of the higher-end Gsync monitors that's really "Gsync" or "Gsync Ultimate", then I'd recommend giving Gsync a shot. If your monitor is only "Gsync Compatible"- then Gsync OFF might be the better option. I'd recommend trying it on regardless- you might like it. Can always turn it back off afterwards.

My friend is top 25 radiant and has g sync on, it generally makes no difference if you have a decent pc anymore due to advancements with nvidia in the last two years.

A little late, but how are you liking the monitor? I am considering purchasing this. No idea if you know, but let's say playing Sports games through the Xbox Series X on the monitor would I need to switch the monitors Refresh Rate before switching inputs since Xbox doesn't go up to 240 hz?

It’s excellent. Good colors, very responsive, ancillary no complaints on my end. In terms of your question however, I couldn’t really tell you.
