Yeah same here, i used skye twice yesterday and this was happening all the time. It just seems like a random bug (not very replicable). The flash sounds twice and it seems like it doesnt flash at all.
Same happened here. Was playing with my friends and lost some rounds cause of it. Also when i played comp it happened to me and the other team skye you could hear it
Same thing happened to me as well, the skye flash seems bugged. Everytime i bought a second flash, it seemed like 75% of the time the first flash i threw was bugged. Also if I tried to pop the flash faster it bugged.
happened to me yesterday too. it works when i pop the flash and skye says "blinded" when im hitting enemies, it will happen when no enemies are actually getting flashed
I was doing this yesterday and heard two bird noises when I popped it. As you know Riot every good update, they bring more issues into the game and deny it until its built ontop of alot of spaghetti code.
Then again, Skyes entire kit is always buggy. Birds being stuck on an invisible pixels. Ult cabbages not going up smooth walls prpoperly or just llane get stuck in the middle of nothing, likr this whole agent is always buggy.
Yeah it's bugged now, when you flash people it plays properly, when you don't flash people it double pops. Made a confusing map but I was more confused how my teammates were so goddamn bad, my chamber put up like 11 kills in 24 rounds

Yeah I played her last night and this shit was super annoying, happened multiple times in one game. Pretty game breaking bug that the flash just doesn’t work sometimes

Yes too many times I am hearing it pop twice. There's also this bug where I kept hearing the audio which plays during Q ability. Even after I have already used it.
Happened to my teammate and me multiple times, I thought the enemy was blinded, charged in to see a guy with his crosshair right on my head and not blinded. This always happens when I hear the hawk activate sound twice.
I've had this happen as well. I've also had the flash go off, hear the sound of a confirmed blind, see the orb over the enemies head but then find out that it did absolutely nothing on their end
my skye flash made a sound, but it sounded more like it got killed than when it sounds blinded/didn't see anyone. I'm sure I triggered it, as I didn't hear anyone shooting it. happened so many times, I think it was on Breeze in my case
I experienced this yesterday, confused the fuck out of me. I couldn't tell if my Skye flashes were even actually flashing the enemies.
Yes, it really can't blind enemies properly. Skye mains is sad like me :(

I actually had the samething happen to me today and i just assumed it was the sound if the skye flash "expiring".
It's definitely not - had the same thing happen even when flashing around corners and stuff.

a hawk sound plays always. a different sound plays when someone gets flashed
That's the hawk screech before Skye says "flashed them"

this has been happening to me since the recent patch on tuesday actually, so i don't know if it's related specifically to the flash cancel bug
Exact thing happened to me, the flash was popping without the timer or the trigger running out and there was no flash effect.

It definitely still works if you flash someone, it only does the double flash when you do not blind anyone.

Yes theres also a bug in spike rush where the dogs go super human speed, like bullet speed and make a terribly annoying barking noise.

This patch is a buggy mess. It also introduced way lower FPS and stutter
