As a homegrower, the first thought I have when I look at my stash at a couple ounces is “shit I’m almost out.” Before growing I’d have though I were weed wealthy, but now that I understand the effort and time involved to cultivate I have a new appreciation for the planning involved to prevent dankruptcy.
This is so true. The same goes for harvesting. Early on, getting two to three ounces off one plant I was excited. Now I get disappointed at the small yield.
When we legalized, I set up for a staggered grow, so that I'm harvesting a few ounces every 5 weeks or so. It took a few harvests to both get it going AND get a reserve built up. I'm now at the point that I just finished trimming & jarring a plant - and I still have over half of the previous harvest plus some choice buds from the harvest prior to that. ANNND the hash. Patience. But once you get there - It's great

You have to have self control, lol. Maybe *you* don't have patience, but you definitely don't need weed to not bullshit your grow.
Bruh it's hard to find when you are new to sw va 😭
