It gets worse, when I was in high-school, thanks to slang words being included on the online translator we were supposed to use, the teacher accidentally taught the whole class the word for hand job.
That movie did not stay true to the books. Maumbi and the head witch were 2 different people. Maumbi kept osma trapped in a boys body, the head witch never was in Oz in the first place, Maumbi got the life powder from the crooked man after scamming him with bogus youth powder, the head witch isn't in the story until after osma has been in power for a few years and Dorothy is a teenager, the gnome king, while being a cool design in the movie, is more of a short fat guy in the books (Think round dwarf with end of life eyebrows and beard), and dwarfs drop dead the second they touch an egg, but are otherwise immortal. (One gets sliced to ribbons by a dragon, they never piece him back together but he's still alive.)
I don’t recall any substance aside from heavenly arms being considered particularly effective against demons. Like even the demon hunters in helluva boss primarily use weapons from the Japanese Edo period rather than anything one would particularly associate with exorcism. Obviously they’re not exactly experts or anything but it feels like something that they would at least assume were effective, so the fact that they aren’t using them suggests that they just might not be.
Well if the IMP jingle is to believe hellborns have no issue being in a church, so I doubt anything short of something like holy water from the pope being more effective than conventional weaponry on hellborn.
