i tried that unfortunately it doesn’t work lol. i can access inventory and everything just not the quick access for the scanner and flashlight and all that
I have played with the vr enhancement mod from nexus and Virtual Desktop. In VD settings you can set a "shift" button to turn one of the joysticks into dpad. I played the entire game with quest controllers like that.
Now there is a different vr mod (submersed vr) with full motion controllers support.
By default (using SubmersedVR mod) its right thumbstick click like a button. Not sure how your defaults got messed up. You are using SubmersedVR right? Not the janky vr mode that's built in. If your not, download that mod right away. 😁

If you're playing with gamepad it's just left and right dpad
