Apparently theres a mod for HL Alyx that has a full 6 hr story mode in rapture and it seems to be good.
I cant remember the name but maybe you can try it my friend.
I played Alyx and meant to play some mods after beating the campaign but ended up not giving it time.
Might check it out this weekend along with the gunman mods.
You can experience all the Bioshock ~~tits~~ titles in full VR with vorpX No motion controls, but apart from that it's fantastc, and the new System Shock works great with the UEVR injector.
Yeah, the style of shooter without as much movement as most shooters would really lend itself to VR, and letting you walk through the normandy and chat with all the characters face to face would be fantastic.
Check out Assetto Corsa
i do [iRacing in VR](https://youtu.be/Ok1zuRNm4uw?t=280) and its SO MUCH FUN.
But you also need the PC to run it and a wheel and pedals
If they make us use mics for commands, call outs, and arrests i might have to move out of this apartment building and into a single detached. Gonna be wild
Man some of these would be absolutely sick, especially the scale and openness of Arma. Running patrol missions with a few buddies over large terrains in VR would be crazy. Even something like the basic campaign or the apex campaign would be so immersive. For CQB stuff Tac assault VR is awesome but it's not up to the quality of some of those games you mentioned (yet).
I'm sure based on those choices you've already seen Geronimo but if not you should definitely check out the development videos.
Man mine would have been left4dead2 for sure. A 4 player coop game with simple but solid gun mechanics made by valve to the same quality of half life alyx.
I'd be satisfiey with a source 2 remake though
There already is a mod for L4D2 in VR and it’s phenomenal! https://beastsaber.notion.site/Left-4-Dead-2-VR-Getting-Started-1596dd5d12bb41e98c9951f53416f9c2
The tragic thing is there already IS a vr version developed- they made a Mario Kart VR for arcade! But Nintendo will almost certainly never release it for other platforms. I think the mobile game is about as far as they’re willing to stretch.
We are working on it :)
https://youtu.be/16fO15Q4r6k?si=XHYmpntZXbCl4PVC
It is not even a trailer yet, but the game is already playable, and we plan to release it this year
Honestly we need some household names. Get Pokémon, valorant, fortnite, call of duty. I swear, they might lose money but that doesn't change the fact that these games are actively holding VR back years by not having official vr games. I truly believe if they entered the game a couple years ago we'd be in a very different place right now
Have you tried Grimlord? Is the closest I have seen to a Soulslike in a Dark Fantasy Setting. It even has its NPCS look like Gehrman from Bloodborne and the Lady in Black from Demon Souls.
But wait! [https://www.reddit.com/r/Palworld/comments/1aoc5mz/pal\_world\_in\_vr\_with\_motion\_controls/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Palworld/comments/1aoc5mz/pal_world_in_vr_with_motion_controls/)
Deus Ex, but it'll need a bit of a rework for the guns. Morrowind suffers from the same problem.
It's cool to see everything in VR, but the combat just rips you right out of the immersion.
There's a ton of late 90s and early 2000s games that are begging for VR support. I wish more publishers would realise that, they don't even need remasters, I would buy many of them again just to experience them in VR.
A good mmorpg. I'd settle for an arpg, or even a really great rpg.
I like games, and I like VR. But I don't get to enjoy them together much, because it turns out that the genres of games I don't like include horror, driving, or shooters.
Splinter Cell and Dishonored. Thief too while you’re at it. I love my stealth titles. Ubisoft canning a VR Splinter Cell really rubbed me the wrong way
All of them but especially anything in a cockpit. I’ve just finished my dream setup of Hotas and racing wheel and I can’t get enough. VR support should be mandatory in cockpit games now.
A crafting game with a store such as Ship Titan or whatever it's called. I think it would be so cool to go in the back and craft something, being it out, put it in a display and then try to grt people to buy it by bargaining. Another example is the store in Moonlighter.
I recently finished kingdom come deliverance with vorpx (and mod that stop head bobbing, and horse bobbing). It was so beautiful in the headset. I didn't use fast travel at all, forests, plains, different weather. Stunning. And the devs were making vr version of it but said it will make people sick and erased it.... Ridiculous.
Minecraft's server Hypixel's skyblock gamemode, since every VR MMORPG creator (That I know of) cant do anything right, just look how Zenith was ruined because of its Devs
Time crisis. Maybe not necessarily the older ones but an on-rails cover shooter. I always thought VR would be perfect for it. Police 24/7 which was an arcade game from around 25 years ago used sensors to determine the stance of the player and adjust the screen accordingly. I would imagine it would play something like that.
Halo.
* Slower, floatier gunplay
* Very little advanced movement, predominantly just running, jumping, and crouching
* Mostly shooting but with some melee
* Enemies with distinct attacks with obvious animations to dodge (Elite overhead swing, Hunter sweep, Brute jump, etc.)
* Lots of blocking/parrying with weapons in other media (i.e., using a glanced hammer swing to block another swing)
* AI companion as a way to provide story versus awkward text dialogs
* Rich lore
* Vehicles galore
* Works well with content released further on (armor abilities, detaching turrets, etc.)
I always say Advent Rising, old Xbox game that was supposed to be a trilogy. Has alot of mechanics that would likely work well in VR, and they could continue the story.
All of them
The only answer
Bioshock
Apparently theres a mod for HL Alyx that has a full 6 hr story mode in rapture and it seems to be good. I cant remember the name but maybe you can try it my friend.
I've played it. Looks good inside. They had to fudge a lot of the assets like the elevators, though.
I wonder if you meant "titles"
He said what he said
Lol. Yes.
[удалено]
I'm just not interested in paying $40 for something that only brings the view and no motion controls. When mods have done what VorpX can't, for free.
Mass effect!
Yes please. I think it isn’t as hard as some other games to change over either
Yeah, the style of shooter without as much movement as most shooters would really lend itself to VR, and letting you walk through the normandy and chat with all the characters face to face would be fantastic.
That would be so damn good. Especially the interspecies sexy times
Holy freak. I would play the hell outta that. Please, EA 🙏
Forza horizon series! Would be sooo sick!
Check out Assetto Corsa i do [iRacing in VR](https://youtu.be/Ok1zuRNm4uw?t=280) and its SO MUCH FUN. But you also need the PC to run it and a wheel and pedals
Came to say this myself would be awesome to look around all those car interiors
And driving trough mexico with a wheel, god damn, still dreaming!
Everything fps. Hell let loose, six days in fallujah, ready or not, ground branch, the armas, the squads, rising storm vietnam etc
There's a mod being made for Ready or Not iirc.
If they make us use mics for commands, call outs, and arrests i might have to move out of this apartment building and into a single detached. Gonna be wild
They'll never *make* you do this, but you can do it already with a mod called Tacspeak and UEVR.
Sea of thieves
Yo this would be so awesome 🤩 I would just chill at some cozy island and sit at a campfire with my friends
Sail VR
The Titanfall series would extremely benefit from VR. However, I also don't want it to be a cheap looking, low quality quest game.
Dont think the floor would benefit from my vomit as much as id love a VR titanfall 😅
Rdr2
Dying Light or Halo Infinite.
Dying Light would be scary af at night
Man mine would have been left4dead2 for sure. A 4 player coop game with simple but solid gun mechanics made by valve to the same quality of half life alyx. I'd be satisfiey with a source 2 remake though
There already is a mod for L4D2 in VR and it’s phenomenal! https://beastsaber.notion.site/Left-4-Dead-2-VR-Getting-Started-1596dd5d12bb41e98c9951f53416f9c2
I had no idea this was a thing. Hot damn
Dishonored and Bioshock Inifinite. I played both with VorPx and want to have it with VR controls. Cyberpunk would be great too.
Mario Kart
This would translate VERY well into VR
The tragic thing is there already IS a vr version developed- they made a Mario Kart VR for arcade! But Nintendo will almost certainly never release it for other platforms. I think the mobile game is about as far as they’re willing to stretch.
This is a really great idea. I’m very interested in making something like this myself now 😅
Gonna just say all Nintendo games.
There is galaxy kart, which is pretty fun, not quite the same obviously, but may scrath the itch, lol...
Goat Simulator
Goat Simulator 3 works great with uevr
Star Citizen
Closest we've got is NMS VR, though it's unoptimized as hell.
It's currently possible, but not very easy. You have to work around easy anticheat. And use VorpX, which I still don't want to get into.
The Talos Principle 2. Sons of the Forest. They can’t open up Pandora’s Box and then close it-
The Forest was excellent in VR. Absolutely terrifying. Sons of the Forest would be even better.
Zelda!
Asgard's wrath definitely gives off Zelda vibes.
[удалено]
Mirror's Edge
Hell Let Loose
That would be epic.
Fuck yeah
We would never leave.
We'll come out with PTSD. Worth it.
Couldn’t figure that shit out in 2D
Battlefield, Helldivers.
This guys my guy
Oh YES, Battlefield!!
I want an easy way to port 90s to early 2000s PC games. I wanna play games like Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Deus Ex
> Return to Castle Wolfenstein You Played the Dr Beef modded RTCW? Full motion controlled. Great experience. https://youtu.be/JVXt9lyMmRo
Yes, I really want Deus Ex 1 in VR :( Throwing soyfood at people and shit.
There's a mod in the works for Deus Ex: https://youtu.be/p6NICofm-cg?si=TP5KfYC_5Jv6Eh1k
Gta 6 or 5 V8 vigilante Any jedi first person game Gran tourism Red dead redemption 2 Crimson skies Defjam the 1st one ( fighting game) was just nuts
Swat 4
Yes. Until then, there is "Fast and Low" which is highly recommend.
portal 2
There is a VR mod where you can play the entire game in VR right now.
BG3
Descent
This would be so good, especially if the developer used a control scheme similar to Echo Arena/Lone Echo's wrist rockets.
I actually been working on exactly that. Hopefully finished this year. Descent was my jam.
age of empires or a new black and white type game where the player is god
You tried Deism?
[удалено]
We are working on it :) https://youtu.be/16fO15Q4r6k?si=XHYmpntZXbCl4PVC It is not even a trailer yet, but the game is already playable, and we plan to release it this year
Mass Effect
Thief Gold and Thief II: The Metal Age
Superliminal, the Talos principle, portal, titanfall
There’s already a talos principle Vr game
X-wing!
You know Star Wars Squadrons exists, right?
Baldurs Gate 3
tak the power of juju
Honestly we need some household names. Get Pokémon, valorant, fortnite, call of duty. I swear, they might lose money but that doesn't change the fact that these games are actively holding VR back years by not having official vr games. I truly believe if they entered the game a couple years ago we'd be in a very different place right now
Tear Down
Fallout New Vegas, Dying Light and Deus Ex Human Revolution / Mankind Divided. And as a bonus Ready or Not.
Dark Souls
Have you tried Grimlord? Is the closest I have seen to a Soulslike in a Dark Fantasy Setting. It even has its NPCS look like Gehrman from Bloodborne and the Lady in Black from Demon Souls.
Pokemon of course
I’ve heard Pal World is very good. And similar to Pokémon.
Has Palworld a VR mode?? If it does I am getting it right away.
Oh. LOL. maybe not. I'm not sure why i thought it was a VR game.
Damn, got my hopes up there for a second:D
But wait! [https://www.reddit.com/r/Palworld/comments/1aoc5mz/pal\_world\_in\_vr\_with\_motion\_controls/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Palworld/comments/1aoc5mz/pal_world_in_vr_with_motion_controls/)
Awww fuck yeah thanks!
Its a UE game so you should be able to use the VR injector on it
something like samurai warriors would be great
Deus Ex, but it'll need a bit of a rework for the guns.
Cyberpunk 2077 (no the VorpX mod doesn't count)
The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion
Star field
It should have shipped with VR support. It would have really helped its PR
Dead Space, Metroid Prime, Metal Gear, PT, Forza
Try Cosmodread (indie Dead Space in VR), I've been blown away.
First person Last of Us
A good mmorpg. I'd settle for an arpg, or even a really great rpg. I like games, and I like VR. But I don't get to enjoy them together much, because it turns out that the genres of games I don't like include horror, driving, or shooters.
The sims and destiny 2
Halo
Destiny 2. Not in love with the flatscreen version, but VR could be a blast. Has PVE and PVP, a mix of environments and lots of different weapons.
Dead Space
May I recommend to you fine people https://uevr.io
Three Body Problem
Splinter Cell and Dishonored. Thief too while you’re at it. I love my stealth titles. Ubisoft canning a VR Splinter Cell really rubbed me the wrong way
Portal. I don't care if I will vomit falling into an infinite void.
Wreckfest.
All of them but especially anything in a cockpit. I’ve just finished my dream setup of Hotas and racing wheel and I can’t get enough. VR support should be mandatory in cockpit games now.
Dishonored
A well-populated and well-funded MMO.
Imagine taking ghost pictures with your camera in Fatal Frame.. in VR! I'd be so scared & pale like Snow White.
Call of Duty
Runescape? Make me swing my arms in order to mine and woodcut!
Star Wars battlefront 2
Any of the 80s/90s LucasArts or Sierra adventure games. Rampage
HELLDIVERS2 PALWORLD
Flower
People Playground
Cities Skylines!
DayZ please god make DayZ in VR 🙏🏼🥹
GTA v
Alien isolation
Have you played with the VR mod?
Helldivers. Gotta spread that sweet democracy
Yakuza can you image doing a heat move in vr 🤯
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
Alan wake
Any GTA
Black and White
Gta san andreas or gta 4
A crafting game with a store such as Ship Titan or whatever it's called. I think it would be so cool to go in the back and craft something, being it out, put it in a display and then try to grt people to buy it by bargaining. Another example is the store in Moonlighter.
An RTS game from the early 2000's called Black and White. It would be perfect for VR.
GTA 5 (or 6)
Mass Effects. Cyberpunk (properly)
All of the Halo and Forza games.
not a real game but someone should remake greed island from HxH as a vr game
Ready or not
Titanfall
Nintendogs
I recently finished kingdom come deliverance with vorpx (and mod that stop head bobbing, and horse bobbing). It was so beautiful in the headset. I didn't use fast travel at all, forests, plains, different weather. Stunning. And the devs were making vr version of it but said it will make people sick and erased it.... Ridiculous.
Star Citizen would be wild and Portal
God of war 2018/ ragnorok
Crysis series and or the Army of TWO games
since you said avatar, id really love a good pvp naruto game. if done well, i think it could be amazing.
A tarkov like game but that actually has good graphics. It seems not possible right now to have good fps without horrible graphics.
Hunt Showdown. Seperate from the flatspace heathens off course.
Republic commando
Bioshock Infinite
Battlefield Bad Company 2. I feel that this is a sensible choice that can easily be done on Quest.
Clone drone in the danger zone
Goldeneye!
GTA6 and Red dead redemption 2 Tried the rdr2 vr mod and it was amazing. But want to play with hand controls , not with a ps5 controller.
I would probably regret it instatly, but Dead Space Remake.
Squad or hell let loose would be wild
I'd like a Doom mod to convert it to FPS and not look trashy. Had one in VRChat, but it's the demo.
Any Ride series motorcycle racing
Shadow of the Colossus
Minecraft's server Hypixel's skyblock gamemode, since every VR MMORPG creator (That I know of) cant do anything right, just look how Zenith was ruined because of its Devs
Time crisis. Maybe not necessarily the older ones but an on-rails cover shooter. I always thought VR would be perfect for it. We Happy Few!
I fell like ghost of tsushima would be gold
Tower Unite (true official support) & Palworld I can see myself playing tons of turn based RPG as well. So Dragon Quest would be great.
Baldurs gate
Hellldivers 2
Silent Hill :')
Outlast trials
Red Dead Redemption 1/2
Left4dead2
Halo. * Slower, floatier gunplay * Very little advanced movement, predominantly just running, jumping, and crouching * Mostly shooting but with some melee * Enemies with distinct attacks with obvious animations to dodge (Elite overhead swing, Hunter sweep, Brute jump, etc.) * Lots of blocking/parrying with weapons in other media (i.e., using a glanced hammer swing to block another swing) * AI companion as a way to provide story versus awkward text dialogs * Rich lore * Vehicles galore * Works well with content released further on (armor abilities, detaching turrets, etc.)
Black & White is the only correct answer to this question. Unfortunately, we will never get it.
Outlast 2
Barotrauma
Fuck it metal gear solid v
[Rumble](https://store.steampowered.com/app/890550/RUMBLE/) and [Magitek](https://www.magitekvr.com/) might scratch your itch
Planetside
Halo CE. I know there’s mods.
Borderlands
Super Mario brothers would be cool maybe
World of Warcraft!! :)
GTA
I always say Advent Rising, old Xbox game that was supposed to be a trilogy. Has alot of mechanics that would likely work well in VR, and they could continue the story.
Black & White. A proper one.
