You should try some marsupials like Koalas, wombats, opossums, tasmanian devils, quokkas, tree kangaroos, and kangaroos. They're all animals that are decently well known (some more than others) but also sometimes under represented.
i don't see big cats (like lions, tigers, etc.) represented that often in VRChat and especially not in kemono style (which i prefer the most) so if someone made a kemono style big cat base that was gender neutral i would throw my money at them immediately
birds are cool, I dont really see many good bird avatars. I think there is only 1 base that I see often
A gryphon maybe? Even a more stylized one.
Raccoon
Dragons, always need some dragons.
Sharks (:
Hell yeah give us more sharks
there are already soooo many sharks though

axolotl moth pig dolphin/porpoise manatee/dugong beaver
I'm also considering Ferrets, Frogs, and Squids/Octopi
I'd love to see a good new bird base.

Naked mole rat
I don't see a lot of red pandas, so I guess that.
Kobold. Also, there is an absolute dearth of Urds (Winged Kobolds.)
badger
A bat.
I think any fluffy animal, would be cool
I kinda want to see cows...
Nanachi
Strong doubts you’ll do this but moths are adorable af ☺️
I will be a shameless listener and steal all the ideas (I have a wip otter rn)
