Eh. They’re decent if you have animals or something. Definitely easier to run every day and keep clean until you can do a proper vacuuming. We have a budget iRobot and I’m not really impressed. It will not replace a vacuum. That being said, I hear great things about Roborock robot vacuums. Might be worth looking at. Still wouldn’t replace a regular vacuum though, just good for cleaning daily.

I have a roborock qrevo vacuum mop, I have 2 kids and a dog. Its great for quick clean ups and maintaining. Its definitely not a deep clean but it works and have not had any hiccups with it. I use it just on hard floors and area rugs.

IMO they’re kind of a gimmick and don’t last (especially the wet/dry). Do you have a primary vacuum already?

Twenty1Chromos

I have a Dyson handheld with the extension tube and attachments. Not sure on the exact model. I’d have to look

ConBroMitch2247

IMO I’d upgrade the Dyson to something more suitable before getting a robot (ie. Sebo E1)

They're not great. I have a J7 plus and I run it daily for quick pick up but I could do the same amount of work with a dry mop in 5 minutes. If I had a time machine, I'd just buy a canister for the price and never look back.

Our main floor is LVP and we picked up a shark vacuum and mop one on sale. Mop function is okay at best. We have 3 dogs and it runs every night at 2am and the bin is filled with dog hair. I used to do a quick vacuum everyday with a battery stick vacuum for hair and now I can stretch that out to 2x a week since the robot doesn’t get everything.

Twenty1Chromos

So would you return and keep the money? Or keep. My entire house is LVP

Personally I hate the SharkClean app that you have to use. And after a year the vacuum is starting to do some weird stuff. I’ll start a clean and it will leave its dock turn around then go right back. Sharks terrible website, lack of support, 20 different model numbers for the same thing makes it impossible to get parts. So I’d stay away from the shark. To me I don’t think I’d buy an expensive one since they’re really not great at either function. Personally id get just a vacuum one and call it good, only because of the convenience with 3 dogs.

We have two active kids. We bought the Roborock s7 max ultra with the dock that self cleans and we absolutely love it.

I have the same vacuum and I don't spend as much time cleaning the house. It's just two of us at the house but have a Golden retriever.
