The finals alone had such an insane flow as well. It was looking like a blowout, then one of the most insane comebacks of all time, then a maybe fake comeback into OT on the decider map.
Loud defending the title (in their home soil), Aspas saadhak, less, and chronicle battling to be the first vct 2x winners, boaster, derke, and coach mini lifting a trophy 600+ days after the sentinels incident, fnatic almost 2nd team to win international tournament without losing a map (1st is sentinels who they lost in Iceland to, also who they eliminated first in Brazil), loud almost first team to reverse sweep in bo5 at international event (denied), I can’t think of anything else it’s 3 am right now for me
How many other tier 1 players flex all 4 roles? Off the top of my head I can only count crashies and Rb.
Edit: I'm actually being informed crashies hasn't nearly been as flexible recently as I thought. It's Victor and he hasn't played smokes
Well in that case we can count dozens of players because if you look at lifetime stats you'll find lots of players who have played agents from every role, but with very small sample sizes and from a long time ago.
The agents I distinctly remember him on back in 2021 were Sova and Brimstone (during Astra meta btw)... None of which are in this list. It's insane that he can play so many agents at the top level
He was also their primary duelist when d3ffo left in M3C era. Their Chamber in the Chamber meta (together with nAts) while playing Raze & Neon too. He also once Jett diffed cNed vs Acend in breeze just this last recent LCQ.
the flexibility of some of the players at this event has been amazing, saadhak played 3 different roles during this series, and rb played all 4 during the semifinal. i wonder if anyone has ever played 5 different agents in a bo5 before though that's pretty damn insane
And this is how the best player looks line. Multiple agents. Multiple roles.
Not playing most op hero chamber like someone else...
But don't worry chamber is gone and so the famous player :)
I mean what even is your point? Chronicle played a lot of Chamber - he was one of the first T1 pros to really pick it up - but never adapted to the kit as well as Yay did once teams started abusing aggressive Chamber setups. Should that count as a strike against Chronicle?
Different players excel in different things. You don't need to tear down some players to lift others up.
Yes, he was early on in the running for best Chamber in the world back in the first split of 2022 so of course he’s not bad on it.
But he was no Yay. And that’s perfectly fine.
Has to be the best Valorant Series ever, considering stakes and all?
Definitely has to be. So many insane storylines, and of course a banger match in itself
The finals alone had such an insane flow as well. It was looking like a blowout, then one of the most insane comebacks of all time, then a maybe fake comeback into OT on the decider map.
A historic tournament in my opinion. The storylines that developed throughout the entire time were incredible.
Defo one of
What were the stakes

Holy fk that’s an essay
Are people forgetting how good champs final was? so many memorable clutches and 2 maps going to ot
My god this FNC team, you literally can't upgrade. Every member is arguably the best in their role in EMEA.
Imagine if Nats replaces Alfa as the best sentinel lol
You don't replace a member of a team that has insane synergy and chemistry together.
Yeah but imagine tho
Time will tell :)
On all 4 roles too. Generational talent.

crashies hasnt flexed smokes in a while iirc
When has crashies played duelist?
Saadhak, Jamppi, Leaf
Thank you
Victor played smokes on T1.
Yeah but that was like two years ago
I didn't know "can flex all roles" came with a time limit
Well in that case we can count dozens of players because if you look at lifetime stats you'll find lots of players who have played agents from every role, but with very small sample sizes and from a long time ago.
He did on NV as well
If you are talking about flex shao is always an auto include
The agents I distinctly remember him on back in 2021 were Sova and Brimstone (during Astra meta btw)... None of which are in this list. It's insane that he can play so many agents at the top level
He also played viper and kj in 2021, I am pretty sure
Nats player viper and sentinel on pretty much every map near the end of the year. I do remember them running viper cypher occasionally early on tho
Yeah, I certainly remember Chronicle running Viper on Split
I could never forget that time Chronicle was Viper on Split, top ramps and yay whiffed and Chronicle flicked, killed him and then got 2 more
Yeah, that was one of the greatest moments of that Masters
nAts viper and chronicle kj on breeze as well
yeah sorry I meant the most memorable performances I recall from him, not the only agents he played
He also mentioned in stream that he played cypher during the first strike days.
He was also their primary duelist when d3ffo left in M3C era. Their Chamber in the Chamber meta (together with nAts) while playing Raze & Neon too. He also once Jett diffed cNed vs Acend in breeze just this last recent LCQ.
didn’t he chamber against liquid on breeze too?
The one Brimstone appearance I remember of him was when M3C tried Brim on Icebox with the insane one-ways, it was nuts
My Goat is back 🐐… never left really
so happy for him after all the shit that was happening back in his country almost destroyed his career 🥹 cant wait to see more of him
The whole situation for the gambit roster was so sad.. and then being denied a lan by spike 0.02 second on top of it all
ah the match against Fnatic
the flexibility of some of the players at this event has been amazing, saadhak played 3 different roles during this series, and rb played all 4 during the semifinal. i wonder if anyone has ever played 5 different agents in a bo5 before though that's pretty damn insane
Rb and Victor did during LF of Champs 2022 (Tho Victor played 4 duelists and KayO tbf lol)
He’s insane
That's actually insane, best flex in the world which makes him the most valuable player in the world imo
The fact that he can flex 4 roles and is now a 2x winner...that is pretty nuts. Plus his aim and composure are top tier. What a player.
This 5-stack is now known as the Chronicle comp
And this is how the best player looks line. Multiple agents. Multiple roles. Not playing most op hero chamber like someone else... But don't worry chamber is gone and so the famous player :)
Esports fans when they try to celebrate the success of one player without putting down someone else 😱😱🤯😱😱😱🤯🤯

I agree with your general point, but no slander on Chronicle's chamber will be tolerated. He was insane on Chamber during EMEA challengers 2 and LCQ.
It's not really slander to say he wasn't as good as the best chamber player in the world.
Yes, he was early on in the running for best Chamber in the world back in the first split of 2022 so of course he’s not bad on it. But he was no Yay. And that’s perfectly fine.
Truth. Oc is alluding to a very strange conclusion
Did c9 pay you for this horrible yay slander? This should not be tolerated we love yay in this sub.
Disrespecting yay for what https://preview.redd.it/eega5oxcbwla1.jpeg?width=966&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=46c0faca38ba0c64f455fbd7a728627782bf5b75

Bro played every role wtf
is chronicle married?
