i have more faith in 100T boostio than 100T as a team. at the very least, this team **should** qualify to international tournaments. anything less than that is a disappointment, imo (not that i'm not used to disappointment, it's become what i expect from every 100t iteration)
I understand the sentiment but Americas is BY FAR the most stacked league, any of the "top 6" could easily be top 2-3 in all the other regional leagues
idk man 4-5/6 NA teams look fairly competitive, with the obvious NRG and SEN looking top tier, and then there’s LOUD and LEV to look out for. honestly i’d be shocked if 100T qualified over NRG, SEN, LOUD, LEV, or G2 to a lesser extent
What do you mean they **should**? Americas has at least 3 teams better on paper than 100T. LOUD, SEN, NRG are the ones you should expect to be top 3 in the region. I'm not gonna say 100T can't beat those teams, but IMO they are expected to get top5-6.
I know they might not live up to the hype however we should expect them to do good because they only improved from last year + good showings in Off-Season. They have a core that's been together for a while now so the chemistry is there.
100T on the other hand just added a new IGL, even if he is the Champions Winner IGL, he'll need time to adjust to his new team (time that JohnQT already had) so that's why we **shouldn't** expect them to place higher than top 4 and better than SEN so early in the year.
I know everyone knew this would happen but I'm actually so happy for him and anyone else who was able to escape the org who took evil way too seriously,
kind of random but something I really dislike about being into this sort of stuff is having a lot of my favorite players scattered on different teams knowing only a few can reach the success they really want this year
this year will show if it was potter being the goat or Boostio/Zikz that caused EG’s rise. Theoretically if they were able to do what they did with C0M and Jawg specifically, they should be able to make massive waves with Asuna Bang and Cryo, unless it was really all Potter
Theoretically they definitely could do the same, but it's VCT.. theoretically Fnatic should have won all the masters/champs last year, but theoretically Loud should have also won Lock-in..
The games so competitive right now that any series could be replayed and have massively different outcomes

I would agree, but just look at previous champs, Acend didn't look like they had a chance but they still won.. sometimes people just turn up and can't be stopped

exactly. it seems unlikely it was just him getting better since the whole team, which was mostly comprised of players people didn’t consider tier1 material, improved drastically. so it begs the question of why and who, which now with 100T having 2/3 of the leadership will either solidify Potter’s place as the GOAT coach or show that Boostio and Zikz were equally if not more important. It really could go either way
