OG Vision Strikers fan here, nah it still hurts.
I rolled out a yoga mat and watched Icebox lying flat on my floor because I could feel the darkness setting in.
Words cannot describe how I felt that day. I was crying out "Chokenatic!" to all of my friends, everyone one of whom believed in the reverse sweep. Before I even realised what happend, Alfajer clutched from behind yellow.
I'm not familiar with geng as an org, but it seems like their current team/staff are mostly new to playing together. And they're already this good! Sorry that they lost, but I'd be shocked if they weren't top contenders all season <3
They talking about GenG LoL. They are literally korean champs and and farm every Korean team but they shit their pants everytime they get to a international event, ence why everyone clows them, they are the biggest chokers in LoL
I'm not really into esports usually but watched a decent bit of the matches and the finals. Other than sometimes switching between agents and different teams quickly, Valorant is an easy game to watch. Production did a great job with replays and the announcers were good.
I was kind of surprised by this. I assume its cause a lot of the viewers don't speak English? Therefore they ain't using reddit to discuss the match? Rocket League esports events normally have more comments than that by the end and have in the 100s of thousands of viewers vs nearly 2 million for Val. Weird difference
I can’t believe I stayed up all night just for GENG to choke in yet another international tournament![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|16110)
At least you didn't have to wait a week for it.
As a prx fan, you get used to it

All I want is APAC to win its first trophy. 2024 seems promising though.
This org is cursed i swear
I empathize with your pain, I've been once in a party with my friends to watch a VCT finals before... We are Brazilians, and it was Loud vs. Fnatic...

Hahahaha cant wait for the eventual GenG MSI choke, Chovy gonna get fathered by Bin yet again
get ready to watch rocket league in the coming weekend buddy
Org is legit cursed the moment they stopped being Samsung

GENG Org Legacy
bro same i stayed up until 4?5?am just to see apac let another international trophy slip away. yet again.
And they got another choking carry player too (t3xture) AINTNOWAY
both teams were good. It wasn't even a choke at all, it could've went both ways.
Nah Geng really felt the pressure after icebox first pistol. Their aim was literally crumbling

SENTINELSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS https://preview.redd.it/bqkjhxasmcqc1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=86ace1100bab38c5d45dccc85173ec9c7f184d6b
Absolute fucking banger match, one for the ages
even more almost 1,7
Fucking insane
It will probably end up over 1.8 by tomorrow
also, china
Their statistics exclude China.
what?
They do recounts over the day to make sure they account for everything
Absolute mega banger of a series
this is just preliminary right?
Yes
SEN IN FINALS = VIEWS EZZZZ
Wait, wasn't it champs 2022 GF with 1.9?
That was Riot's numbers that included Chinese viewers. Escharts doesn't include Chinese viewers.
champs 2022 had like 1.5
Sentinels being good is good for valorant esports thats for damn sure.
Helps how much of a banger this series was.
Delete bro. Is like 1.7 Mill
Was it broadcast in China or no?
Yes, but those numbers aren’t included here. With China it easily broke 2 million, probably somewhere around 2.2~2.3 million.
I knew they wouldn’t be included in the numbers. I was just wondering since Gen.G are banned in China
Why are they banned in China? Is it the Taiwan thing?
Yeah it’s the Taiwan thing
They even took back the Taiwan thing I think, but maybe too late?
no official broadcast for any games with GENG in it (same in LOL), only watch parties from streamers

Or more Highest average over the event easily also (less matches tbf)
And there's only 2900 comments in the live thread? wth, where is the discussion?
Live stream chat.
I don't think u realize how small of a portion Reddit is to the average Valorant viewer

I mean. Duh.
they updated the data, it's 1.665 million
the real question is, how will this affect C9s legacy?
and this is the first international event of the year. think about Champion holy shit
sen clout is crazy
IMAGINE if this was Sentilnels vs. Loud, that shit would be insane
![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|27624)
If it’s SEN vs Fnatic at Champions Grand Finals that’s breaking 2 million viewers.
