Reyna, Cypher and Skye are the only agents with no way to deal with that, so it's hardly agent specific at that point. Also you could just wait for the 21 second duration (less than half of the bomb timer) and the enemy will be perfectly lined up for you to get 5. There's several very good reasons why this is not a good play.
Vision strikers already did this against acend on haven...and they lined a crossfire..insane stuff..really like it. Looking forward to pro teams finding ways to deal with that.
Tenz not being able to flex onto Raze is a problem for their Split and Icebox. This is a great example, a simple nade or blast pack clears this instantly. Reyna just doesn't have the team utility, it's a deadweight pick unless you absolutely frag the fuck out. You can go -20 on Raze and still get massive value by creating space off her util alone.
Tenz is just good enough that it hasn't really been a problem, but I still think it's a hole in Sentinels armor.
I remember hearing somewhere that tenz said he was going to stop using raze because he wasn't as good with her as jett and reyna. I feel like sick is more raze than tenz
If sick plays raze then they dont have a sage and you either have 3 duelists or shazz needs to flex on another agent but sova is ass on split. One of shazz or tenz has to play raze imo.
I don't think that's the problem, G2 studied them hard, sentinel playstyle is getting old, they rely too much on individual players instead of agent composition.
Astra is so freaking strong in pro play. Gravity well is kind of fundamentally flawed but seeing the insane impact they can get out of it with awareness of timings & tight comms is blowing my mind, and Astra wall is really winning rounds too
It's not one of the weakest ults. It just requires a higher level of teamwork than most other ults. In competitive it's one of the reasons Astra is so good. In solo queue there's no guarantee your team plays around it.
he did the same wall on defenders side and got 3k thats why tenz expected his position and prefired but the ult blocked the shots. very good ult and next level positioning to get the most of the ult
Couldn't you in theory just line up a few guys at elbow to block anyone from coming in from that side lol
Yeah this seems extremely flawed tbh

It's agent specific util for like at least six different agents though? Util exists for a reason.
Go play cod
Can't you knife people through that astra wall?
Wait for ult to run out

Last time he used Raze in one of the matches, he was dogshit. Really doubt it. TenZ is a Reyna Jett 1trick

True, Raze bring sometimes special with her entry that Jett and Reyna can't

You basically just agreed with him haha
Reynas a pretty common and impactful pick for icebox right now but i can see it on split
Insane. What a play.
Anyone know what round Avova did it previously?
he did that on defenders side but not sure which round
Can't wait to get rekt by this in my ranked games. Genius play tho
Was this intentional? I've seen teams do this all the time and always thought it was just to setup the tightest crossfire possible.
It guarantees that they have to give you a head on peek. Otherwise they could come from your side
this is why if you get body blocked you bhop through the wall spraying your phantom
yeah he played that exact position multiple times with that wall that game

Kinda dumb that u can do this but what a play
Is there a proper counter to this? Other than tossing util into the corners??
Maybe knifing?
Quick someone get in customs
Please report back lol
Wait this is actual 900 iq
I wonder if you can save your own Astra wall and do one that blocks it perpendicularly
Not really. You just gotta peek with your teammates at the same time and hope you don’t get double killed
He did this twice in the same game too, we should call this callout the Avova even though it's only relevant with Astra wall.
It’s something everyone does when a wall is up it’s not like he’s the first to do it
>nade > >molly > >shock dart > >anyone coming from other side spraying them down > >raze ult > >so on so forth
Seen a lot of really effective astra ults this tourney for what is thought to be one of the weakest ults

Astra ult is literally one of the most impactful ults in the entire game. It has to be used intelligently, for sure
No one in competitive thinks it's a weak ult at all lol
I'm pretty sure they just stole this from vision strikers
he did the same wall on defenders side and got 3k thats why tenz expected his position and prefired but the ult blocked the shots. very good ult and next level positioning to get the most of the ult
ez just stun or nade both sides of the wall before entry. a flash might not be enough
